This study is about how to develop younger teens problem solving ability and their social competence. The study carried through by using a qualitative method, two observations and ten interviews. The observations where preparatory for the structured interviews. The respondents where pupils in a class were it is an ongoing project which purpose is to develop childrens problem solving ability and social skills with cognitive training and an empowerment based reasoning model that is called rahyab. Rahyab is a Persian word and it means Path- finding.

Medicinteknikbranschen är en högteknologisk och innovativ bransch som karaktäriseras av snabba förändringar och dynamik, enligt branschorganisationen Swedish Medtech. Det är även den bransch i Sverige som har störst andel kvinnor i företagsledningarna. I en föränderlig miljö anses den organiska organisationsstrukturen vara mest lämplig och den ledarstil som anses mer kompatibel med organiska organisationsstrukturer är den så kallade "feminina" ledarstilen. Syftet med denna uppsats är att se hur ledarskapet ser ut i den medicintekniska branschen, och om det finns en typisk ledarstil oavsett kön.Studien har genomförts som en kvalitativ studie för att få en bred och omfattande överblicksbild av hur ledarskapet sker i praktiken. Flera teorier har använts, men fokus har legat på kontingensteorierna Path-goal samt situationsanpassat ledarskap.Ledarskapet inom de undersökta företagen överensstämmer i stora drag med varandra och det har inte gått att utläsa en distinkt skillnad mellan hur männen och kvinnorna leder.

A crisis is something that can happen to all of us in an unexpected situation, and the school should be prepared in a way that is the best way to handle a situation with a wide foundation through a crisis plan. On a well-defined way, you should have a developed and relevant emergency plan. Defining the word crisis can be difficult, it is an individual interpretation, and to get found out what the word stands for and it have to be discussed. The two selected schools that I have chosen to interview have discussed the understanding of the word crisis in able to get what the word means for them. The two selected schools have come to the conclusion that a crisis is something that creates disturbances for people or a person concerned to the everyday way of living.

The purpose of this essay is to examine one of Sweden's oldest motorways in cityenvironment. The researched section is motorway E20 east of Gothenburg. Olskroksmotetin the west and Jonsered junction in the east, a distance of about 11 km. The mainquestion was, can maintenance of areas and objects related to the motorway give greatermeaning to a system that currently lacks historical connection?The survey was partly an archival study and partly a physical examination of themotorway and its appearance today.The road through Säveedalen from Gothenburg has a long history that begins with theriver and its valley as transport routes.

Denna uppsats försöker besvara frågeställningen varför en del studenter vid Karlstads universitet väljer att ta ut sin examen vid något annat lärosäte. Vi belyser bytesprocessen som leder respondenterna i undersökningen fram till ett faktiskt byte, från det att tanken föds, till att studenten etablerar sig vid ett nytt lärosäte. Med hjälp av djupintervjuer hittar vi anledningar till varför byten sker, antingen av praktiska skäl eller så är det tron att en examen från ett äldre lärosäte, med högre status, ger ett försprång in i karriären.Utifrån teorier som valts inom exempelvis relationsmarknadsföring, image, kundnöjdhet och bytesbeteende- framför allt SPAT (Switching Path Analysis Technique) analyserar vi informationen och underbygger resultaten. Längs undersökningens gång har vi modifierat SPAT-modellen och lagt till flera variabler. Detta för att den ska passa in på just bytesprocessen hos högskolestuderande, vilket har givit oss en tydligare bild över processen.Det framkommer tydligt under studiens gång att flera av studenterna väljer att byta universitet för att ta ut sin examen vid ett universitet med i deras ögon högre status.

Purpose: The purpose is to examine more closely why the achievement of the environmental goals is so low. To within the thesis work to make this as interesting and with as good quality as possible, especially the environmental quality goal Reduced climate impact, but also Natural acidification and Protective ozone layer, has been chosen to be studied further. Method: A qualitative method and text analysis has been applied. Intervention theory, as Vedung 2009 describes, is used as an intellectual backbone and as a help to structure the essay. The three environmental quality goals correspond cases, or units of analysis. Analysis: The fulfillment of the respective environmental quality goals is analyzed according to its goal, policy instruments, implementation and its effects. To this some of the problems are analyzed that exist on the Path to achieve the goals.

This study has an integration policy direction as it focuses on the qualification for the new arrivals to quickly establish themselves in the labor market, and how the government's interventions, which in this case is the establishment reform, have affected municipalities and what its role is in this context. The purpose of the establishment reform is to faster the new arrivals integration in to the labor market. The aim of this study is to analyze the interaction factors that is affecting the integration of new arrivals into the labor market by study the professionals opinions on the interplay between involved organizations in two municipalities before and after the establishment reform. Studies have shown that the establishment reform has not achieved its goal and the purpose is to analyze the aspects behind this problem. The results of the study were analyzed with help of the interaction theory and the new institutional theory which is a part of the organization theory. An important aspect in the results of our study is the deficiency with the interaction between the participating organizations that obstruct the new arrivals Path to becoming self-contained. In order to identify the problem, the study focuses on the co-operation among two communities in Sweden with the new arrivals way into the labor market.

The purpose of this paper is to view Karlstad Municipality and their financial support to non-profit organizations within equestrian sports. Despite the varying representatives of various equestrian sports in Karlstad, there seems to be a single beneficiary within the sport when it comes to financial support from the municipality. The policies and plans concerning cultural development are directly compared to the Karlstad Municipality and its contribution to these organizations within equestrian sports. Through interviews and reports I have studied the process of financial support from the Karlstad municipality using an intersectionality theory based on Nina Lykkes guide on gender studies and feminist theory. Pierre Bourdieu?s theories on field, habitus and capital are also used as a method to enhance the understanding of equestrian sports and its role in modern Swedish society. The conclusion is that the Karlstad Municipality is, for a several of reasons, promoting non-profit organizations within equestrian sports, which are operating as riding schools.

The aim of the Master?s Thesis work is to study and develop algorithms for autonomous travel of a UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle). A vehicle for the mounting of sensors has been constructed in order to perform the work. Since the UGV is to be used outdoor in urban areas, GPS can be used. To improve precision and robustness, inertial navigation is used in addition to GPS, since GPS reception is likely to be diminished in such areas.

The Government announced a new school reform which aims to support teacher appraisal and professionalism within the Swedish education system. The once well renowned profession is hurting by the decreasing quality of the Swedish education system and the declining number of applicants to the university teacher program. The school reform introduced a new career Path for especially skilled teachers to an occupation earlier characterized by a homogenous work force. The Government encourages principals to promote thriving teachers to first teachers, whom will receive an increase in the salary covered by state aid. By supporting these effective teachers, the Government wishes to increase the image perceived and status of the profession and improve the competitiveness of teaching's salary.

One of the main goals in this study is to investigate how young children's identity formation and social relationships are depicted by today's consumer society.  In order to reach the goals of the study I also concentrated myself on questions regarding the reflection of symbolic aspects consumption in younger children's interaction and preschool-teachers' ideas about how and in what ways children's consumption patterns are created and developed nowadays. In order to answer the presented research questions I used the theoretical arguments of researchers in the field of pedagogy Gert Biesta in connection with the ideas and concepts of the consumer society characteristics developed by the sociologist Zygmunt Bauman.The thesis' methodological approach consists of a combination of semi-structured interviews with teachers and observations of children's interaction, which contributed to a systematic investigation of the thesis' problem area and served as a tool for obtaining answers to the research questions.The results demonstrate that consumption occupies a lot of space in young children's lives, which means that it greatly affects their social relationships today. Both consumption and knowledge of the known brands prove to be the child's Path to the desired community on the one hand, and the children's way to the consumer world on the other (hand), which in turn points to an obvious dependence between children's consumption and their social relationships.The results also show that there is a tension between the perception of identity formation as preschool-policy-document on the one hand and the attitude of the identity prescribed by consumer society norms and regulations on the other..

Att använda Building information model (BIM) innebär att man bygger upp en komplett 3D-modell varifrån man genererar ritningar genom att göra en önskad genomskärning i modellen. Detta medför att om en revidering behöver göras i modellen så ger det utslag i samtliga utplockade ritningar, vilket innebär mindre jobb med tidsbesparing som följd.För att skapa en 4D-modell krävs att man importerar en 3D-modell och en tidplan till ett 4D-modelleringsprogram. Masshantering med data för schakt- och fyllnadsmassor kan användas till förbättringar av tid- och resurshantering med en exaktare 4D-modell som följd.4D ger stora kommunikationsmässiga fördelar vid byggmöten då samtliga deltagare på ett enklare sätt kan styra hur projektet ska planeras för att hålla rätt kvalité och levereras i rätt tid.Inom anläggningsprojekt framställs plan, profil- och tvärsektionsritningar tillsammans med data för masshantering från 3D-modellen. BIM för anläggningsprojekt är inte lika omfattande som BIM för byggprojektering då möjligheterna med t.ex. 4D - visuell produktionsplanering inte nyttjas.

Many children and adolescents up to the age eighteen come from other countries alone to Sweden to seek asylum. Sweden receives many unaccompanied children and the number of unaccompanied children is increasing every year. There are various reasons to why the unaccompanied children flee their homeland to come to Sweden. Many of the unaccompanied children come from countries such as Somalia, Afghanistan and Eritrea. The unaccompanied children?s families choose to send their children to Sweden to protect them from armed conflict and other social or political unrest going on in their homeland. This essay aims to explore how the integration of the newly arrived unaccompanied children works in schools.
