Based on this, it?s hard to believe that we have not yet found a tool that will facilitate our needs. With this in mind, which elements do we need to promote collaboration in a virtual design process? This thesis will include design processes, collaboration, creativity and virtual awareness, amongst others.

Dwellings and offi ces are built and the population increase heavily. Th isresult in a need to look at how public green areas can develop and be designed. Th epurpose is to design a proposal for a master plan of S:t Göranområdets public greenareas. Exploateringskontoret, Stockholm stad, who has initialized the task, claim thatthere is a need of clarifying and shield the qualities in the green areas of today and howto create new green structure.The problem formulations which are current in this master thesis are:? Is there a need of a distinct identity for the green areas of S:t Göransområdet? If so,how is this created?? How can the green parks and nature areas inside S:t Göransområdet be improved anddevelop?? How can the connections between the green areas inside S:t Göransområdet beclarifi ed and how can they connect to the surroundings?To get inspiration and information for the design this thesis include a study of theincluding parts in the design process.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur konkreta och abstrakta uppdrag påverkar konsumenters köpbeteende i livsmedelsbutiker. Genom en kvantitativ studie på Ica Maxi i Karlstad undersöktes hur uppdragets karaktär påverkar faktorer som antal observationer, spenderad tid i butiken samt antal produkter i varukorgen. Resultatet visade på en skillnad i hur konkreta och abstrakta uppgifter påverkar konsumenters beteende. Respondenter med ett konkret uppdrag gjorde fler observationer samt tog längre tid på sig för att ta sitt beslut. Studien fann även att konsumenters beteende från ett uppdrag inte påverkade beteendet i kommande uppdrag.

This study investigates augmented reality using third person perspective and what precision can be achieved by using this method. There have been prior studies in regards to precision using augmented reality, however studies using third person perspective is scarce. This study presents a solution using a static camera capturing the user as well as the plane to augment from behind. This augmented image is then transferred to a handheld device that is held by the user. Using this method the user will be free to manipulate and work with the plane without removing the device that captures the scene, a common problem when using visual reference markers in augmented reality.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att undersöka användbarheten i FriendlyReader Web. Programmet är en e-tjänst som underlättar förståelse och överblick av digital materialet som textdokument, PDF m.m. Användbarheten har att testas genom att mäta ögonrörelser på 10 dyslektiker och 20 icke-dyslektiker. Vid ögonrörelsemätningar fick användarna utföra tre olika uppgifter i FriendlyReader Web. Användarna fick också ta fram en egen gränssnittprofil.

This essay focuses on the technical systems and functions behind how a Roman bath operated. I will present a general view by going through each part of the waters path through the bath one by one. Since there is no such thing as a standardised Roman bath I will, under each headline, present the sub subject with a presentation of the workings and then exemplifying through archaeological findings and ancient literary sources.This essay is therefore meant to present a thorough and clear presentation of the technical aspects of a roman bath. The aim is to give the reader an understanding of how a bathhouse worked in general and why. To this I want to present problems that the Romans were faced with and how they solved them..

The aim of this paper is to describe how to measure welfare effect of the deregulation and increased competition of the public transport by railway in Sweden. The paper also includes a numerical example of how to measure the welfare effect. In our study we use public data from SJ regaring quantity and ticket prices for the period 1996 - 2005. We have used equivalent variation, EV, as the method to measure the welfare effect. We demonstrate how to derive the equation to calculate EV by starting with a Marschallian demand function.

Denna studie har som syfte att ta fram ett designförslag på ett ögonrörelsestyrt infotainment-system samt utvärdera detta. Fokusen ligger på den funktionella design och dess för- och nackdelar. Studien tar upp tre olika designförslag varav ett valdes att göra en prototyp av. Prototypen skapades med hjälp av HTML5, Javascript och Python. Detta kopplades sedan samman med ett ögonrörelsesystem tillhörande Smart Eye AB.

The final thesis named Tracking in Sensor Networks was created by the company Instrument control Sweden. The thesis work is to create a plug-in to an already developed software pro- gram, SkyView. Via the software program one should be able to control an IP-camera from AXIS, model 215 PTZ, with the appropriate protocol over a network.  An Application Programming Interface, API, was used to easily control the camera through SkyView. The interface is called VAPIX and is used to all cameras from AXIS.

Today we live in a world where the demands increase in the aeronautics industry. This creates a situation where no mistakes are allowed about the regulations and for those who are supposed to follow these. Safety comes first, tracking of components, Service Bulletins which are recommendations from the manufactures and Airworthiness Directives which are demands from the authorities, these need to be updated at all time and everything that is done on a aircraft need to be documented.This creates a situation where today maintenance shops need to have full control of all parts of the organization, which creates a need for a working data system.The goal with this exam work is to evaluate the best way to implicate the new bought data system called "System Aircraft Management" on the basis of the needs of Täby Air Maintenance AB. The system are supposed to get started technically and also be implicated to the users of the system. This work will be focused to create a effective working plan to get SAM implicated with no interruption in the daily work.
