Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en bild av hur man kan uppleva det att vara homosexuell i sociala relationer och utifrån detta blir våra frågeställningar vilka reaktioner upplever homosexuella från sin omgivning och hur hanterar de eventuella reaktioner. Vi har valt kvalitativ metod där vi har intervjuat fyra homosexuella från två generationer, en man och en kvinna från varje generation. Teorier som vi använt oss av är Goffmans stigmateori som ligger till grund för studien, samt sexualitetsteori och könsteori. De slutsatser man kan dra utifrån denna studie är att de homosexuella påbörjar en process när de tar steget att ?komma ut?.

Part of branding is to create a visual appearance which is called a graphic profile and contains information on for instance a logo, colours or typography.The objective of this thesis was to create a graphic profile for Stjørdal Tannhelsesenter that could serve as a base for a brand work in the future. It was important to analyze how the clinic wants to be perceived and how it is perceived today. The methods used to carry out this study were questionnaires, researches and a focus group.The work resulted in the generation of a graphic profile that included a new logo, colours, decorative elements, fonts, templates for stationery, business card / badge, imagery, and examples of some publications.According to the test which was made to examine the results of the project showed that I was successful and that the new design meets all the requests from the previous questionnaires..

Det statliga järnvägsnätet som byggdes i Sverige under 1800-talets senare del har haft stor betydelse för landets tillväxt. Banornas sträckning och byggsätt gav upphov till livliga debatter i riksdagen som slutligen resulterade i det stambanenät som än idag ligger till grund för Sveriges transportinfrastruktur. Vilken spårvidd som skulle användas var en viktig fråga i debatterna, och att Sveriges statsbanor skulle ha en och samma spårvidd var långt ifrån självklart.Denna studie undersöker och analyserar varför de norrländska stambanorna slutligen kom att byggas med samma spårvidd som övriga landets stambanor, och därigenom bli en integrerad del av det statliga järnvägsnätet. Ursprungligen var de norrländska banorna tänkta att byggas med smalare spårvidd, något som skulle innebära att detta nätverk skulle ha isolerats från södra Sveriges. Detta beslut ändras emellertid innan byggandet påbörjats.Genom att kvalitativt studera riksdagsprotokollen från debatterna om järnvägen som byggdes mellan Storvik till Torpshammar och vidare till den norska riksgränsen för att ansluta till en norsk bana kommande från Trondheim, undersöks de argument som framfördes i debatten ur dels en sociopolitisk och dels en ekonomisk synvinkel.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att för AB Edsbyverken utveckla ett nytt förslag som löser förvaring på kontorets vägg. Det gamla Hyll-/väggsystemet har funnits i många år och var det sista i sortimentet som inte uppdaterats. Då konkurrensen bland de tre största kontorsleverantörerna är stor gjordes en marknadsanalys för att se vad konkurrenterna erbjuder och upptäcka vad de saknar. För att veta vad marknaden saknar så gjordes intervjuer med säljare och kunder. Tre koncept med tydliga riktningar producerades och presenterades för uppdragsgivaren för att välja riktning till slutförslaget.

Nio vetenskapliga artiklar användes för att få en bild av ungdomskultur och sexualitet.

The theme of this bachelor thesis in sociology has been developed through the perspective of ?grounded theory?, where the writers starting point touched the subject of integration in the organization Samhall in Sweden, an organization that hires disabled individuals that do not have enough working abilities to be hired any place else. From there, the methodology moved into a qualitative research through interviews with first generation immigrants hired at Samhall, where the result presented clear patterns of integration problems such as identification with an organization that does not have a normal way of working, the feelings of security which led to an unwillingness to leave the organization (which actually is the main goal of Samhall) and the stigmatized presumptions of the organization as such that makes it even harder to get a regular job on the open work market. These patterns were then put together with theories of stigma, cultural sociology and organizational identification, which three were the theoretical framework of this thesis. This study has contributed with an enlightenment of how it is to be an immigrant in a state governed organization and the consequences that follow when integrating an immigrant in a work disabled working environment. .

Inertia is often described as an unavoidable state that organisations reach when they grow to a certain size. Theorists present a number of different phenomenons, which together create the foundation for inertia. This study deals with the apparent resistance that appears among the large Nordic betting companies with regards to establishment on the electronic sports (eSports) market. The analysis is based on how the old phenomenon inertia takes place in young and seemingly flexible industries. This area has received limited coverage in current theory on inertia.

In this essay I have tried to describe the rich tradition of thoughts about the afterlife in Judaism. The first part contains litterary studies and the second part is based on interviews with religious representatives. The first part is a description of the progress of thought in history around the issue afterlife. The sources reveal a vast amount of intellectual work on the issue. I have tried to follow the path of thought, and how it developed, so that the reader can see how one thought leads to the other but also how each period?s way of thinking is influnced by its context.

With the end of the cold war as a major revolution in matters of international security, a major overhaul has taken place to transform the static total defense plan of the nation to a less rigid operational system.Following an analysis of the budgets total amount from the governments of 2002 until 2015 it is clear that while the amount of resources has never directly been lowered, it has shrunk in relation to the countries total GDP. This thesis analyses the literature debate in the overlooked Swedish magazine Samtid och Framtid 1944?1949. The magazine was first published at the end of World War II on the initiative of publisher Johan Hansson. After an interesting start, the terms of the debate in the magazine were changed after a power struggle on the editorial level. Thus, the magazine never became the influential arena for literary discussions that it first had potential of becoming.

Large-scale land investments is not a new phenomenon, but increasing prices on food and agrofuels have inflated prices on land and has led to an enhanced interest in landinvestments from a range of different actors. The ProSavana project in the Nacala corridor in the Nampula province, northern Mozambique is a large-scale land investment with the purpose of establishing intensive commercial agriculture and is planned to be implemented this year (2013). The project is financed by Brazil and Japan in collaboration with the government of Mozambique. It is not quite clear how large-scale land investments affect the areas they are implemented in and how they can affect the possibilities for sustainable development in these areas. Both opportunities and problems can be observed within the social, economic and ecological dimensions of sustainable development.

Detta behov har uppkommit då Volvo CE uppfattat att antalet genererade idéer sjunkit. Följande frågor formulerades i arbetets inledningsfas: Hur påverkas deltagarnas vilja att komma med idéer och förbättringsförslag av idéhanteringssystemet? Finns det brister i Volvos idéhanteringssystem och om så är fallet, hur avhjälps detta? Arbetets empiri samlades genom ett antal intervjuer av deltagare och processledare under hösten 2011 och metoden har varit kvalitativ med grundad teori som ansats. Resultatet av arbetet är ett antal faktorer som tillsammans kraftigt påverkar deltagarnas idégenereringsvilja på lång sikt.

My essay is about the latter period of Anne Charlotte Leffler?s authorship. In Part I of my essay, I describe her path from the 1880s, where she described femininity as a shortcoming, as writes Ingeborg Nordin-Hennel, towards the 1890s and towards describing femininity as a possibility. ITT Flygt is a world leading company that mainly manufactures submersible pumps. A problem of ITT Flygt is that product development projects rarely manage to hold the estimated project time. It shows that something unexpected occurs in projects quite often, which results in delays. The delays can both be due to an optimistic time plan of projects and risks in product development projects which are not discovered at an early stage. This added with unforeseen delays makes it difficult for ITT Flygt to estimate the duration of their projects.The goal with the Master thesis is to examine a suitable method for simulation of project time.
