Vi är alla olika och har olika behov och förutsättningar. Men vi har alla rätt till en likvärdig utbildning anpassad efter alla dessa olikheter. Lärarna på en skola i Västsverige kände i takt med att klassen växte i storlek att de kanske inte riktigt klarade av att möta alla där de befann sig. Ett utvecklingsarbete tog form och med hjälp av aktionsforskning valde lärarna att utveckla samlingarna i en F-1 klass med 25 elever. Syftet med studien var att ur ett deltagarperspektiv se hur elever, i samlingar, kunde uppfattas inkluderande och deltagande utifrån deras förutsättningar och behov.

Det finns barn som aldrig fått möjlighet att lära sig läsa och skriva. Syftet med fallstudien är att bidra till kunskap om hur tvåspråkig undervisning uppfattas av några romska barn i tolv års ålder, som var analfabeter, samt att ge en inblick i deras modersmålslärares arbetssätt. Tre huvudfrågor ställdes: Vad betyder tvåspråkig undervisning för några romska barn? Hur arbetar modersmålsläraren? Hur upplever dessa romska barn momentet läs- och skrivinlärning? Som metod användes observation och kvalitativ intervju. Modersmålsläraren agerade som tolk under intervjun.

I have investigated the interaction between man and environment, between my inner reality and a physical place, using a camera as my primary tool. What conceptions do I have and how do they affect how I relate to the outer world? I am not a passive receiver of the surrounding world. Instead I actively (but usually unconsciously) choose what to take in and how I experience it. If we as landscape architects do not reflect upon our conceptions, they will unconsciously affect our decisions. Only when we accept our experiences as subjective, can honest communication take place. By means of literature studies I have connected my own conceptions with different definitions of place: place as enclosure (location, space), place as inner meaning (genius loci) and place as action (the place-creating process).

We have studied the process of recruiting young people to the white power movement. With the help of theoretical concepts as Outsiders and Stigma, we have elaborated the purpose of the study. The focus of the study lays in finding out which elements contributes to adolescence seeking membership in white power, and furthermore what white power organizations offers young people, to attract them to recruitment. We also want to find out if it possibly lays a desire for communion, behind adolescences decision to join these movements, and also how the communion manitains within the group? To expand our knowledge in the field of White Power, we have taken note of a body of literature that deals with the current topic, and previous research that treats questions about subculture, community and recruitment.

AbstractAimThe aim of this study has been to survey the background of the youths in the selection group which participated in the Dream action day, to evaluate if the project succeeded and support the Swedish Ski Association with their recruiting process. The questions of issue have been: Which ethnical, demographical and economical backgrounds do the youths of the selection group have that participated in the Dream action day? Is there any common denominator among those who was drawn to continue? Do the youths want to contribute to expand the sport? Is Dream action Day a good way to reach out to the target group?MethodThrough a strategic selection made by the Swedish Ski Association 44 youths participated in a day during which they tried snowboard. They have been a part of our quantitative data collection and we have chosen six to interview. The interviews have been executed in form of semi structured interviews.ResultsThe results clearly show that few of the participants had any connection to the sport, neither from home nor from friends.

This thesis primarily includes a study on whether companies can develop a mathematical activity that supports students' motivation in mathematics. The work was done together with Midroc Electro, a company that pays attention to the difficulty of recruiting and therefore was interested in investigating how the business world would be able to contribute.The thesis can be divided into three stages. The first part comprised by a exploration into research on student motivation regarding mathematics as well as numerous interviews with engineers to see how the research findings did fit with Midroc Electros reality. In these studies it became clear that the student who aims for a profession whose education or work requires math belongs to the group of students who primarily manage their studies in mathematics, that is, those that have the greatest motivation to work hard and complete their studies.Research information and interviews were compared and resulted in the thesis second part, Midroc Challenge. An activity where students primarily came to learn about the engineering profession and secondly how mathematics can be used in the engineering profession.

In today?s society the average person is flooded by information from everywhere. This is in particular the case when using the Internet; consider for a moment the fact that a decent search engine at this moment scans 8 058 million homepages. For a user that repeatedly comes back to the same site, the case is often that they know what they are looking for. The problem is to isolate the important information from all the other information embedding it.We would like to state that we have found one possible solution to this problem, where the user himself can define what information he is looking for at a specific server, then scan the server when visiting it with his browser.

The purpose of this paper is therefore to highlight the use of language tests for admission to the care courses for adults in Värmland. What provided This is a survey of the prevalence and an examination of the validity of the test. The issue that this study assumed is: How is language test in connection with admission to the certified health and social care courses for adults in Värmland? How well correlates intent of the use of the language test with the test's validity and reliability?The methods used to seek answers to these questions has been a combination of questionnaires and experiments.

Gender equality and gender equality work is relevant for today's working life, and previously male-dominated occupations may be increasingly under pressure to become more equal. This paper aims to explore and understand how the firefighters at a station are experiencing gender and gender equality in rescue services.Using theories of how sex is done, how a power perspective and a structural approach can show men's and women's different conditions in an organization, and theories that are more specific to gender and change management the firefighters talk about gender and gender equality are analyzed. Essay results were collected through interviews with seven firefighters and then analyzed and interpreted with the help of theories.The analysis shows that there is a perception among the firefighters that men and women are biologically different and that required physical strength legitimizes the exclusion of women. Inequality is seen as something natural and by pursuing an active gender equality women are given unwarranted benefits. When physical strength becomes a legitimate reason for exclusion, the responsibility for gender inequality is put on women and that women don?t have what it takes.There is also a resistance against gender equality analyzed in the paper, and it's stated opposition seems to be directed against the management's way of recruiting women.

This bachelor thesis is about civilian marching bands in the province Värmland industrial communities, with a focus on Degerfors, Edsvalla, Gruvön, Nors, Slottsbron, and Vålberg bands. Degerfors, Gruvön, and Slottsbron bands are three corps that still operates concerts and performances. The other three unions are defunct.In Värmland, there were many mills that were operating well into the 1900s, roughly speaking there were about 25 mills in various industrial areas. These mills had operations in glass, iron, and paper, each user had a band at least a brass sextet and today there are only eight bands left in Värmland. Bofors in Karlskoga, Charlottenberg, Degerfors, Dejefors, Gruvöns in Grums, Hagfors, Skoghall, and Slottsbron bands.What is the reason that so many bands have disappeared? To answer the question I have investigated the importance of four factors have had for the unions: finance, recruitment collaboration with the music and arts, as well as cooperation with educational associations.The results show a marked reduction in civil bands, from about 25 corps to eight corps today.

I detta arbete jämförs explicit och förmedlande (conveyance) inlärningsteknik för kommersiella spel och undersöka hur de påverkar spelarens resultat samt kunskap om spelets struktur. Undersökningar från början av 1970-talet visar på hur aktivt lärande ökar deltagarens engagemang jämfört med vid passiv explicit inlärning. Mitt praktiska arbete består i att ta fram två olika inlärningsbanor, en för var teknik, och en utmaningsbana där spelaren får prova sina färdigheter. Skapandet av den praktiska delen av examensarbetet har skett under praktik på Pieces Interactive i Skövde. Resultatet av studien indikerar att gruppernas inlärning är jämförbar, dock klarar personerna i den explicita gruppen uppgifterna snabbare, medan de i den förmedlande gruppen utforskar/förstår mer av spelet. Vidare forskning om förmedlande bandesign kan gynna spelbranschen, särskilt i utbildningssammanhang där syftet är att motivera deltagaren och stimulera till en djupare/intuitiv förståelse för uppgiften..

Om sättet att tillhopa gå av Carl von Linné analyseras i denna uppsats med syftet att finna föreställningar om kropp, kön och sexualitet i texten. Resultatet bidrar sedan till en diskussion om på vilket sätt de framkomna föreställningarna medverkar till att främja sociala strukturer och maktförhållanden i samhället. Som teoretisk referensram antas ett kritiskt diskursanalytiskt perspektiv och en socialkonstruktivistisk hållning. Två grundläggande utgångspunkter i denna språk- och verklighetssyn är att det råder ett orubbligt samband mellan språk och samhälle och att människan konstruerar verklighet med hjälp av språket. Vid upprepad närläsning av texten har fem olika mönster, eller idévärldar, identifierats som dominanta: föreställningen om könsorganen som agerande subjekt, uppfattningen om att fortplantningen är sanktionerad av Gud, idéströmningar från antiken rörande bland annat kroppssyn, bilden av kvinnan som passiv och känslostyrd och bilden av mannen som aktiv och handlingsinriktad.

Min undersökning gjordes för att undersöka tre olika färgvariablers påverkan av känslorna harmoni och disharmoni. De tre färgvariablerna var färgmättnad, färgkontrast, och kall och varm färgnyans. Jag undersökte även påverkan av synonyma och närliggande känslor. Dessa känslor var ordinär, ovanlig, passiv, aktiv, lugn, orolig, behaglig, obehaglig, sammanhängande och osammanhängande.  Känslopåverkan har undersökts genom att låta respondenter gradera känslointryck från färg i olika konceptuella miljölandskap.

Purpose ? The purpose of the study was to examine how to promote a personal trainer in the fitness industry, as a personal brand, with digital media.Method ? To fulfill the purpose, the author have used three different methods. Both literature and quantitative and qualitative data in forms of a digital survey and interviews with two personal trainers regarding marketing and branding.Result ? Based on the collected literature and empirical evidence, facts could identify the importance of having a strong brand as a personal trainer, in order to recruit new clients. The result revealed that digital media is an excellent communication channel to nurture the relationship when you already have existing clients, but not when you want to recruit new customers.Implications ? This study is only developed through empirical data from a particular demography and a certain range, which could give a different result with other respondents.
