Dagens svenska handikappolitik bygger på delaktighet och alla människors lika värde. Vi har undersökt om den officiella synen också slagit igenom i massmedia genom en kvalitativ undersökning av åtta nyhetsinslag i Rapport och Aktuellt som skildrar personer med begåvningsnedsättning och/eller nedsatt autonomi. Vi har också tittat på hur personerna skildras i förhållande till övriga i reportaget samt om medierna har någon ambition att föra den beroendes talan. Genom en kritisk diskursanalys har vi sökt utforska och kartlägga maktrelationer. Ett viktigt instrument har varit en lingvistisk analys.Journalisternas ambition tycks vara att skildra personen med funktionshinder positivt och försvara eller förklara hennes behov och livssituation.

The purpose of this study is to examine the changes in law and other types of politicialregulation regarding unauthorized absence during the reformation of the Swedish schoolsystem in 2010. How was this ?new? approach on unauthorized absence established; whatmade it possible and which view on ?unauthorized absence? does it implicate? The study hasa discourse analytic approach in which it examines central policy documents regarding thetopic of inquiry. The study has found that the alliance-government?s education policy onunauthorized absence is pervaded by one hegemonic discourse termed the mono-culturaldisciplinary discourse.

This is a thesis written for a master's degree at the Computer Vision Laboratory, University of Linköping. An abstract outer product is defined and used as a bridge to reach 2:nd and 4:th order tensors. Some applications of these in geometric analysis of range data are discussed and illustrated. In idealized setups, simple geometric objects, like spheres or polygons, are successfully detected. Finally, the generalization to n:th order tensors for storing and analysing geometric information is discussed..

Den främsta uppgiften som sjukgymnasten har vid rehabilitering av neurologiska skador är att identifiera uppkomna funktionsstörningar som påverkar patientens situation och vilka resurser som finns kvar. Det är också viktigt att sjukgymnasten arbetar motivationshöjande och finns som stöd för patient och anhöriga. Syfte: Beskriva sjukgymnasters upplevelser av sin egen roll inom neurorehabilitering. Material och Metod: Totalt inkluderades fem sjukgymnaster i Norrbottens län i studien. Kvalitativa intervjuer utfördes utefter en frågeguide.

In today's society there is tougher climate both financially and time wise. Accountants working under tight deadlines leading to the compromise between quality and quantity in the audit process and them therefor are being guilty of so-called reduced audit quality, RAQ. Reduced audit quality involves intentional actions designed to somehow reduce the evidence contained in the audit. We examine in this study the impact of time budget pressure (TBP), underreporting of time (URT), ethical organizational culture and charismatic leadership has on the frequency of RAQ.Previous research has already shown that there are clear links between TBP and RAQ, between URT and RAQ and between ethical culture in organizations and audit quality available. Five hypotheses were designed to the study.

Today, there are few industries left in our cities. Industrial areas thatare located in urban settings close to water or city centers are oftenreplaced by housing. In my thesis I want to explore how such industrialsite located in an urban setting can be transformed into anindustrial park where the industrial structures are saved. By approachingthis type of environment in a positive manner, I wish tohighlight the potential aesthetic and functional value in the existingindustrial structure. Through the transformation and design of anexisting industrial site I will convey the previous use and history ofthe place.The wastewater treatment plant, Kungsängsverket, is located in thedistrict of Kungsängen in the southern part of Uppsala.

Utskrivning inom 48 timmar efter födseln har blivit allt vanligare både i Sverige och internationellt. Regler och rutiner för tidig hemgång varierar mellan olika sjukhus i landet. Distriktssköterskan möter nyblivna föräldrar och barn i ett tidigt skede efter förlossningen, vilket innebär att denne blir en länk mellan förlossningsklinik och BVC. I arbetsuppgifterna ingår att se till att föräldrar får det stöd och den hjälp som de är i behov av. Nio semistrukturerade intervjuer utfördes i syfte att beskriva nyblivna föräldrars upplevelse av tidig hemgång i glesbygd.

Denna rapport bygger på en litteraturstudie och avser att ge en bred beskrivning av en teknik kallad LTES (Latent Thermal Energy Storage). Rapporten förklarar teorin bakom tekniken, behandlar de komponenter som krävs för att praktiskt kunna använda den, tittar på kostnader som är förknippade med den och visar på tillämpningar som finns idag och är förväntade inför framtiden. Vid LTES genomgår ett PCM (Phase Change Material) en fasändring vid en viss temperatur. Vid fasändringen lagras (eller avges) termisk energi i (från) PCM:et. Denna fasändringsprocess kan sedan användas praktiskt i olika produkter och system för att ge värme och/eller kyla efter behov.

Bakgrund: Alkoholberoende skapar stor makt över en människas liv och kan beskrivas som en ond accelererande spiral. Smärtsamma känslor dövas med alkohol men ger på sikt ett ökat lidande och personen kan inte längre kontrollera sin situation. Den alkoholberoende flyr in i en förnekelse inför sig själv och andra vilket skapar än mer lidande. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva den alkoholberoendes upplevelser av sin livsvärld. Metod: För att besvara syftet användes en kvalitativ ansats och som datamaterial användes fyra självbiografier.

This essay examines how three big Swedish newspapers depicts e-sports and computer gaming and how the depiction change during 2000-2013. The study will also examine whether e-sports is being portrayed as competitive sport. The purpose is to investigate which attitudes that can be identified towards computer gaming and its culture in major newspapers such as Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet and how these attitudes eventually changed over time. The sources that will be used in both the quantitative and qualitative analysis are based on web articles, mainly because the paper editions does not provide much, if any, information about computer gaming and e-sports and also because of the convenience of being able to quickly find articles to study. Results indicate that computer gaming is being depicted in a clear negative fashion during 2000-2006, and that the depiction of e-sports is somewhat positive but not as glorifying as for the years 2007-2013. During this period, there is a apparent tendency of e-sports being introduced to readers who are unfamiliar with the gaming culture. As for the attitudes towards computer gaming, the depiction is still somewhat negative, mainly because the debate about computer games and violence was revived because of several acts of violence in shape of school massacres and mass murder.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the cow-level association between acute hoof lesions and the somatic milk cell count in dairy cattle. Cows from three loose-housed Swedish dairy herds were enrolled in the study if they had an acute hoof lesion treated by a veterinarian or professional hoof trimmer during the preceding year, according to farmer records. Studied lesions were sole ulcer, dermatitis, interdigital necrobacillosis and hoof abscess, in each case causing lameness. For each hoof-diseased cow, 0 to 3 healthy cows were included, matched with respect to herd, breed, parity and lactation stage. Cell counts were obtained from monthly test recordings from one month before to three months after the hoof-lesion diagnosis, and log-transformed.

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how cooperation functions between the health services and social services within Sollentuna County Municipal area regarding clients and simultaneous or double diagnoses. Focusing more specifically; the paper also aims to provide additionally, an inquiry as to how the implementation of the Gemensam Individuell Vårdplan (GIVP) (The Integrated Individual Service Care Programme or (GIVP) functions within the Sollentuna Municipal County Area. The questions asked in the paper are: How do the Municipal and County Council personnel experience how the (GIVP) system functions in Sollentuna? How do the Municipal Council and County Council personnel respectively describe their own and their cooperative sister services rolls in terms of the implementation of the GIVP system in practice? The projection activates a hypothesis and tries to explain how the cooperation functions and provides an assessment as to how it functions or not as may be the case in practise. The authors attempt to achieve this using a combination of methodologies.

Sjuksköterskor på sjukhusavdelningar upplever stress genom höga krav och lågt stöd från arbetsgivaren, låg kontroll över arbetet och stor arbetsbelastning. Syftet med den här studien var att beskriva vilka stressorer som finns hos avdelningssjuksköterskor på sjukhus och vilka copingstrategier de använder för att hantera stressen. Frågeställningar till studien är: Vilka stressorer finns hos sjuksköterskor som arbetar på sjukhus? Vilka copingstrategier använder sjuksköterskor på sjukhus för att hantera stressen? Studiens metod är systematisk litteraturstudie. Analysmetoden är latent innehållsanalys.

The integration policy in Sweden shall encourage individuals to support themselves and take part in society. It shall alsocontribute to equal rights and opportunities for women as well as for men. In Borlänge this has resulted in a program ofintroduction for new arrivals from other countries. However, at the unit responsible for economic support, they havediscovered that women with immigrant background more often than men seem to have trouble starting or became to anending of the program, which then especially leads women to a long-term dependence for economic support. The purpose of this study has therefore been to investigate what factors affect immigrant women?s participation in theintroduction, and what significance this participation has for their possibilities to become economically self-supporting,and integrated into Swedish society.

Slovenia and Latvia are two examples of countries which have gone through a successful democratic transition. They were both under authoritarian rule and command economy up until their declarations of independence in the early 90s. Today they have a functional market economy and political pluralism. I have examined transition theories highlighted by Jonas Linde and Joakim Ekman and from these theories sought the explanations to what lies behind the successful transitions of these two countries. The transition in Slovenia was affected by liberalization from within the ruling communist party which then controlled much of the transition process. A relatively large civil society and the fact that Slovenia was not involved in the Balkan War also contributed to the short process.
