The aim of this study is to examine how the Swedish writer Aurora Ljungstedt describes relations and desire in her En jägares historier, and what political message she tries to send her audience through that description.I have applied Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick?s theory of erotic triangles to the relationships in En jägares historier and found that they are structured in the way Sedgwick describes. The structure works to uphold and, when needed, re-establish patriarchal order in the book. Most female characters in En jägares historier are ? also in line with Sedgwick?s theory ? no more than articles of trade between men.

The purpose of the study was to investigate how young female Kurd immigrants experienced their existence between two different cultures, namely Swedish compared to the immigrants Parents culture. How their experience behavioural conduct between the opposite sex before marriage and if the young female Kurds thought the mass media picture of them was thought of as a correct image of their lives in general or whether they experienced it as a generalisation only. We chose qualitative methods for our study and used suitable literature based on the theories of this subject to be able to understand the problem. To go deeper whit the study five young female Kurds aged between eighteen and twenty years were asked if they would participate in an interview on the subject. These participants proved that they had no problem at all being multicultural.

Föräldrakoordination är en barnfokuserad alternativ konfliktlösningsmetod som praktiserats i Sverige sedan 2009. Denna intervjustudie har undersökt separerade föräldrars upplevelse av att få stöd i sitt föräldrasamarbete av en föräldrakoordinator. Intervjuer har genomförts med sju föräldrar som haft insatsen föräldrakoordinator under minst sex månader. Samtliga deltagande föräldrar har flera års erfarenhet av svårlösta konflikter med den andra föräldern och har tidigare provat andra former av konfliktlösningsinsatser. Resultaten visar att föräldrarna upplevt metoden som hjälpsam när det gäller att öka samarbetsförmågan, sänka konfliktnivån och förbättra barnens mående.

Att förlora sitt barn är den svåraste förlust en förälder kan uppleva i livet. Sorgen blir påtaglig och livet raseras på ett ögonblick. Syftet med studien var att beskriva föräldrarnas upplevelse under sorgarbetet vid förlusten av ett barn. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet sammanställdes utifrån åtta vetenskapliga artiklar som svarade på studiens syfte.

I Sverige insjuknar varje år cirka 300 barn i cancer. De vanligaste cancerformerna är leukemi samt hjärntumörer. Trots att forskningen har utvecklats är det en fjärdedel av de drabbade barnen som inte går att rädda. Då ett cancersjukt barn vårdas palliativt och sedan går bort, påverkas en hel familj med föräldrar och syskon. Att förlora ett barn är en fruktansvärd upplevelse.

The aim of the study is to show how children and adults are described in three picture books, examining how children and adults are portrayed in text-and-picture narrative and how this has changed over time. We have analysed how the characters in the books are presented and how the representation of children and adults has changed in our own times.The material for the study consists of three picture books from different periods, with the focus on how children and adults are described as the common point of departure. The analysed picture books are: Tomtebobarnen (Beskow 1919), Aja baja, Alfons Åberg! (Bergström 1972) and Snäll (Dahle 2008).We have arrived at the conclusion that a text-and-picture narrative is in very large measure a reflection of the outlook on children, childhood and child rearing at the time when the book was published. The result shows that the greatest change that has happened is that Parents? and adults? dominance in the books has declined over the years, and that children have been given a more prominent role.

Övervikt och fetma är ett stort problem både globalt och nationellt och drabbar både vuxna och barn. Överviktiga barn löper risk för medicinska, psykiska och sociala problem. Föräldrar spelar en nyckelroll i barnets liv och utveckling men även i behandlingen av barn med övervikt. Syftet var att undersöka föräldrars upplevelser av att ha ett barn med övervikt. Ett annat syfte var att undersöka deras behov av support.

Chronic illness is associated with conditions that may result in psychological ill-health in the adolescence. Consequently there is a need for development of preventive psychosocial support interventions for this target group. The objective was to develop, implement, and evaluate the effect of supportive intervention group program for teenagers suffering from chronic illness - aiming at increasing quality of life and supporting mental and physical health. Method: Six different intervention groups were conducted between 2007 and 2011, age 13?17.

Triage, which means "to sort", determine the priority of the patients need of care. The aim of the present study was to describe nurses? perception of triage at a pediatric emergency department. A questionnaire with open- and closed-ended questions were distributed to all 25 nurses that worked at a pediatric emergency department. The answer frequency was 48 % (n=12).

Övervikt och fetma hos barn är ett allvarligt och växande problem. Det är ett tillstånd som för med sig många olika sjukdomar och i och med att antalet överviktiga barn ökar hastigt kommer det att vara en stor belastning för den framtida hälso- och sjukvården. Prevalensen är särskilt stor i vissa delar av världen och inom vissa grupper i samhället. Föräldrar spelar en väsentlig roll i huruvida barnen lever hälsosamma liv eftersom de bär ansvaret för barnen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka föräldrars påverkan i utvecklingen av övervikt och fetma hos barn och genom en systematisk bearbetning av litteraturen granskades och bearbetades slutligen 19 vetenskapliga artiklar till resultatdelen i studien.

Det föds drygt 110.000 barn i Sverige varje år och nästan 10% behöver neonatalvård på grund av för tidig födsel eller sjukdom. I denna situation befinner sig föräldrarna i en värld fylld med oro och ovisshet över sitt barns överlevnad och utveckling, vilket kan skapa en kris hos föräldrarna. För att sjuksköterskan i omvårdnaden ska kunna bemöta föräldrar på ett adekvat sätt då deras barn är beroende av sjukhusvård, bör behovet av stöd belysas, vilket var syftet med denna litteraturstudie. Fyra kategorier speglar resultatet för att beskriva olika behov av stöd; Stöd i främmande miljö, Stöd genom att skapa närhet, Stöd genom information och Stöd genom kommunikation och delaktighet. Sjuksköterskans uppmuntran och stöd har betydelse för föräldrars delaktighet i omvårdnaden av deras barn och       därigenom få möjlighet att hantera situationen.

Professionalism is essential to anchor the curriculum in daily operations.The study's purpose was to investigate preschool teachers' perception of professionalism and how the implementation of the preschool curriculum in their daily business functions.The study was an interview with four pre-school professionals with the spread in age and experience.

Abstract The main aim for this research is to come to an understanding for why young people choose to apply for the machine program when the time comes for the students to make their choice of upper secondary school program. The second aim for this research is to try and come to an understanding on how to make the machine program more interesting for future students to apply to.  The method of this research is quality method with the usage of interviews. With a total of six students in the first grade going on a school in the middle part of the country I tried to get answers to my questions. There are many things that affect students when they are facing what gymnasium program to choose and a very common answer by students in this study is that friends and work after school are some of the reasons for why students choose, for example, the machine program. The study also shows that Parents has less influence of the students choice of gymnasium program and in fact, all students in this study made the choice to pick the machine program as their gymnasium program, but not always the machine program as their first choice. With the comparison of similar studies with my study the results are often in line with what other scientist have come up with.

 The 1st of July 2006 Sweden made a change of authorities in the system concerning the reception of separated asylum seeking children. Prior to the change, the Swedish Board of Migration was held completely responsible for the reception of these children, who arrives in Sweden without their Parents or any other relatives to care for them. Since the alteration of the law (1994:137) the responsibility for the housing of these children now lies within the Swedish municipalities, while the Board of Migration still handles their legal commissions. The change was intended to fundamentally improve the conditions under which these children were taken care of. However the implementation took a severe wrong turn when the municipalities weren't prepared for their new responsibilities and the immediate result was alarming. This qualitative study is based upon interviews with the people responsible for the reception of the separated asylum seeking children in the municipalities of Kronobergs County, as well as one of the two people in charge of the new system at the Swedish Board of Migration.
