C3LOOPS is an application for DJs and VJs based on surface interaction. A system is said to be based on surface interaction if it presents content on a two dimensional, endless surface that a user navigates through zoom, pan and incremental text filtering where processing is tightly coupled with the content without breaking the workflow. C3LOOPS is designed to encourage improvisation and collaboration. During improvisation changes occur rapidly. Allowing navigation through time as well as the two spatial dimensions of an interaction surface the possibility of unlimited undo operations opens up.

Poland has since 2021 dealt with the migration crisis at its border with Belarus and when the new government took power in 2023, many had high hopes for its management of the crisis. But the government has opposed the EU's migration policy and continues the strict migration policies of the last government, which earlier studies have theorized, if it?s sign of a securitization of EU?s own migration policies. This essay examines the experiences of activists who work at the border, by performing interviews and a thematic analysis regarding the Polish state?s handling of the migration crisis with the change of government in 2023 and how they see that it has affected Poland and EU?s relationship.

This essay contains a comparative analysis of Erik Olin Wrights Marxist class analysis and Michael Hardt and Antonio Negris post-Marxist class analysis as presented in their books ?Empire? and ?Multitude: War and democracy in the age of Empire?. I discuss the shift in analytical focus from state level to global level that Hardt and Negri's analysis represent and the ensuing relevance of this for contemporary class analysis. The essay also address the challenge and implications posed to class analysis by the ever increasing economic globalization, from a material production to an ever growing immaterial service economy and the decrease in state power in controlling capital and labor movement. I propose that analytical understanding of class conflict help us to a better understanding of the mechanisms and dynamics that generate social and economical inequalities and that an updated Marxist class analysis still have much to contribute to our understanding to how these issues not only shape our society but also our capacity to counteract them..

Uppsatsen behandlar programmeringsspråket F# med mål att undersöka hur användbart det är för företag idag jämfört med andra språk. Arbetet är uppdelat i två delar. En teoretisk del redogör for språkets upplägg som hybridspråk och undersöker fördelarna hos den funktionalitet som hämtats från det objektorienterade samt det funktionella paradigmet respektive. Den andra delen består av en enkätundersökning som utförts där vi frågat systemutvecklare i Sverige om användandet av F# i deras verksamhet, samt vilka tankar de har kring språkets upplägg och framtid inom arbetsmarknaden. Slutligen jämförs vår teoretiska slutsats med resultatet från vår undersökning för att kunna avgöra om F# är något som är värt för företag att investera i, eller om det inte bidrar tillräckligt för att vara värt besväret.Resultatet blev att trots att det ger ett antal nya möjligheter i teorin då man kombinerar objektorienterad och funktionell programmering, så innebär detta i praktiken bara att slå ihop två komponenter som redan kunde kopplas samman sedan innan.

The purpose of this study in the psychology of religion is to explore the process of an individual?s shift in orienting system, from a religious to an atheistic. The materials used are autobiographical accounts obtained from two books. One that has been used as a primary source and one as a secondary. By using Rambo?s process oriented theory of religious conversion relevant themes and categories were chosen and later subjected to further analysis using Pargament?s theory of religion and coping.

This research study constitutes a critical stand, which departure from the increase in welfare, and decrease in quality of life, and is further directed to the sphere of consumption. Contemporary consumers appear to seek for components to construct their self with through consumption, consumerism has become a sphere of life, and has consequently also become a victimizing force steering the identity and self construction of consumers. The alarm bells however are echoing in Western society, and consumers are experiencing dilemmas such as fragmentation, powerlessness, uncertainty and meaninglessness.In this respect we have presented spiritualism as an applicable path of escape or alternative to the scheme of the material oriented consumption sphere. We intend to broaden the scope of the interplay between spiritualism and consumerism in the act of yoga, and we have therefore been researching: what yoga is doing to consumers, and what consumers are doing to yoga. The study is based on an existential epistemology paradigm, which emphasis on the meaning of the yoga experience attained from the subjects of research; the yoga practitioners, and therefore we have carried out three focus group discussions.

Strandskyddet och riksintressena härstammar från två skilda paradigm, miljö- och planparadigmet. Det finns spänningar mellan dessa paradigm och en samordning eftersträvas. Planeringen står mellan dessa paradigm. Det kan därmed innebära att olika bedömningar görs i ärenden som både behandlar strandskyddet och riksintresseområde.

During recent years the professional role of librarians has changed considerably. Development in the areas of information technology and the Internet has had a strong impact on libraries. Today?s visitors are in greater need of librarian support for information seeking and other services. This has led to a shift towards the development of a more complex pedagogical role for librarians.

Bakgrund: Musikindustrin har upplevt omvälvande förändringar det senaste decenniet, där skivbolagen har tappat 50 % av sin försäljning sedan år 2000. Minskningen beror till stor del på det teknologiska paradigmskifte som skett i och med digitaliseringens intåg i musikindustrin, ett intåg som förändrat marknadsvillkoren för berörda parter.Syfte: Syftet är att förstå hur marknadsledande företag påverkas och handlar under teknologiska paradigmskiften, med utgångspunkt från skivbolagsindustrin. Vidare ämnar vi undersöka vad skivbolagen har haft för roll inom musikindustrin och hur den ser ut i dag efter digitaliseringens intåg.Metod: Uppsatsen är baserad på fyra intervjuer samt en e-postkorrenspondens med personer som har upplevt industrins utveckling de senaste åren. Som komplement till intervjuerna används sekundärdata.Resultat: Skivbolagen upplevde svårigheter i och med det teknologiska paradigmskifte som digitaliseringen stod för. Skivbolagen har efter ett defensivt beteende där de motverkat förändringen börjat arbeta för att skapa affärsmodeller som är applicerbara på den digitala marknaden.

I London har en grupp kring psykoanalytikern och anknytningsforskaren Peter Fonagy utformat en mentaliseringsteori. Denna uppsats är en studie av denna teori. Mentaliserings- teorin har beskrivits som ett nytt paradigm inom psykoanalysen - och är en vidareutveckling av objektrelationsteorin. Styrkan med Fonagy och medarbetares bidrag är ambitionen att hålla ihop olika forskningsfält och visa på ett rimligt sammanhängande mellan olika teorier: Anknytningsteori, ?theory of mind?, neurobiologiska-, kognitiva- och affektiva teorier.

On 1 January 2007 abolished Sweden as one of the last countries in EU the wealth tax. This wealth tax was in Sweden for almost 100 years. As the great debate in the context of tax reform in 1910 was not so much about the introduction of a wealth tax. The discussion was instead on the wealth tax would be proportional or progressive together with the income tax.When the government with and there finance minister, Carl Swartz, presented its government bill, 1910:88, 11 March 1910, the draft regulation on income and wealth tax was said, that now they had finally made a shift in the direct tax to the state. A change had been sought and it would have been great difficulties to be overcome and it would have been deeply entrenched ideas about this tax reform impossible.Despite all the protests from the wealthy in society, so continue this conservative government through reform with the strong support of many conservative politicians who had most to lose from this tax reform.

Syftet med uppsatsen ar att undersoka mediernas betydelse for fyra svarta kvinnor som bleker sin hy. I uppsatsen redogor jag for vad fenomenet hudblekning ar och varfor jag anser att det ar ett utslag av ett postkolonialt samhalle. For att kunna utfora en adekvat analys har jag anlagt ett eklektiskt paradigm bestaende av postkolonial teori, Giddens identitetsteori, Bourdieus teori om kulturellt och ekonomiskt kapital samt Freuds identifikationsteori. Med detta teoretiska ramverk tar jag upp flera viktiga centrala fragor som hur dessa fyra svarta kvinnor ser pa sin svarta identitet,vilken betydelse medierna har for formandet och synen pa den svarta identiteten samt vilka klassdimensioner som finns i denna studie. Uppsatsen ar en kvalitativ studie baserad pa djupintervjuer.

The ever-changing modern health care environment places high demands on leadership skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the causes that effect leadership within the health care services carried out in a municipality. Data was collected by interviewing four health care managers, three registered nurses, eight enrolled nurses and one auxiliary nurse. A qualitative approach based on a content analysis method was conducted in the analysis of the interviews. Latent content deals with relationship aspects and interpretation of deeper underlying meaning of text.

Author Cocitation Analysis (ACA), multidimensional scaling (MDS) and Social Network Analysis (SNA), has been used to analyze and visualize the invisible college of the journal European Union Politics. The concept invisible college was first introduced in the fifteenth century, through the creation of the ?the Royal Society of London?, and it was reintroduced in the 1960:ies and the 1970:ies by scholars such as Price and Crane. It is said to have been interpreted in as many ways as there are authors who have used it. Here it has been used synonymously with the term citation network.
