Background: Examinations with the intent to assess neurological functions and level of conciousness are common in neurocritical care, but the effect on the patient is not entirely researched.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe the patient?s situation at the neurological wake-up test concerning the environment, nursing interventions and the possibility given the patient to become awake, and if these conditions affect the outcome of the wake-up test.Methods: A quantitative observational study took place at a neurocritical care unit, where 20 patients were observed from interruption of sedation to the neurological assessment, which was performed by a neurosurgeon or a specialized critical care registered nurse. Nursing interventions, environmental factors and physiological parameters were documented.Result: Twelve intervention varieties to control patients? physiological parameters were used. CPP > 80 mmHg was found in 90 % of observations.

The aim and goal of this work has been to design and implement a voltage reference network for a 12-bit PSAADC, Parallell Successive Analog to Digital Converter. Inom den palliativa vården är vanliga symtom smärta och i synnerhet existentiell smärta. Obehandlad existentiell smärta får konsekvenser för graden av patientens lidande. Begreppet ?total pain? har haft stor betydelse för hospicerörelsen och palliativ medicin. Syftet med studien var att beskriva sjuksköterskors omvårdnad av patienter med existentiell smärta inom palliativ vård för att därmed kunna minska patientens lidande.

Bakgrund: Smärta är ett mångfacetterat begrepp och det vanligaste symtomet inom palliativ vård. Begreppet innefattar såväl fysisk, psykisk, social som existentiell smärta. För att uppnå en individanpassad smärtlindring bör sjuksköterskan ta hänsyn till smärtans alla dimensioner genom såväl subtila tecken som direkta uppmaningar på hjälp.Syfte: Att belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att vårda patienter med smärta inom palliativ vård.Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på elva artiklar har använts. De vetenskapliga artiklarna är hämtade i databasen Cinahl with full text och har granskats och analyserats enligt Fribergs modell (2012).Resultat: Resultatet av analysen presenteras i fyra huvudkategorier. The moisture content in 10 deliveries of tree parts and 10 deliveries of wood residues were measured with different methods to analyze the quality of procedure used at Dåvamyran today. At the same time a survey was made on the measure procedures used at heating plants in Sweden The majority of the heating plants in Sweden use weight and moisture content as base for payment but at some plants only volume. The moisture content is usually estimated by drying wood chips in an oven but few plants a visual estimation is used. At few plants moisture content is estimated spectroscopicily. The techniques using near infra read light and other electromagnetic are still at a test stage. The methods of measurement used today are quit unreliable for the individual deliveries and there is a risk for systematic mistakes.

This report is presenting an approach that can be used to measure water surfaces in difficult conditions caused by dense vegetation and lack of nearby known points. The objective was to make a contribution to necessary measures for adaptation against floods in Grums Municipality along the stream Karlbergsån, which may occur when persistent rain raises the level of the stream. Along the river there are low-lying areas prone to flooding. According to Grums Municipality, the stream may widen where the water level differences are large, to create a better flow path and to counteract flooding. Grums Municipality was also interested in survey stormwater discharges which may affect the water level in the stream.

Syfte och frågeställningar Studiens syfte var att undersöka om utförandet av en isometrisk bålstabiliseringsövning/coreövning kunde påverka upplevelsen av smärta i nacke, axlar och skuldror hos kvinnor med kronisk/långvarig idiopatisk smärta. Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur påverkar utförandet av övningen ?plankan? upplevelsen av smärta i nacke, axlar och skuldror hos deltagarna? Förändras den maximala uthålligheten i övningen mellan deltagarnas första och sista träningstillfälle? Kan interventionen fullföljas av deltagarna?Metod Fyra kvinnliga deltagare som alla hade kronisk/långvarig smärta i nacke, axlar eller skuldror utförde övningen ?plankan? som hemträningsövning under fyra veckors tid. Mängden träning dokumenterades i en träningsdagbok som deltagarna kontinuerligt fyllde i under träningsperioden. Före samt inom en vecka efter träningsperioden ifylldes en enkät med frågor om upplevd intensitet, frekvens och lokalisation av smärta.

Idag lever många människor med denna typ av smärta, och dessa patienter förekommer överallt inom hälso- och sjukvården. Patienter med denna smärta visar inte hela tiden att de har ont eftersom de ofta har lärt sig att leva med den. Därför finns det stor risk att sjuksköterskor undervärderar patientens värk.

The thesis focuses on the measurement of situational factors affecting brand loyalty in purchases and consumption. A survey is conducted using previously developed scales and 199 respondents. Results show that for the particular product category (ready-to-drink recovery drinks), purchase frequency and the product experience have stronger effects on loyalty than do situational factors such as type of activity and perceived stress. This project measures the upper bound of exposure time for laser reflection detection in the software DotDetector. Via measurement of the exposure time for which distortion happens in a room lit with everyday light we conclude that the upper bound for exposure times are 100 milliseconds. This value does not change as long as the lighting in the room is the same. As future work this project proposes variable upper bounds depending on secondary lighting in the room. This study concerns mapping and analysing two different Supply Chains at Setra Group. Setra Group is Sweden?s biggest producer of solid wood and is primarily owned by Sveaskog, Mellanskog and LRF. The Company consist of twelve sawmills, five planning mills and an organisation for distribution of building material. This study maps one chain for Swedish Glulam standard beam and one chain for solid pine flooring on export to Japan. The glulam chain is based on spruce as raw material and includes all actors between sawmill and the Swedish building material retailers.
