Att plötsligt insjukna i akut sjukdom är för den drabbade personen men även för hans eller hennes närstående en stor belastning med många blandande känslor. För ambulans-sjuksköterskor hör detta till vardagen men för de utsatta blir verkligheten hotad och medvetenheten om förlust av den sjuke blir påtaglig. Närstående till personer som vårdas inom akutsjukvården är ofta i en mycket utsatt, sårbar men framförallt ny situation. Syftet med denna intervjustudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en svårt sjuk person fått ambulanssjukvård. Sammanlagt åtta närstående intervjuades med en kvalitativ forskningsintervju som därefter analyserades med en tematisk innehållsanalys.

Uppsatsens syfte var att beskriva hur elever uppfattar sin psykiska hälsa och hur de uppfattar den psykosociala skolmiljön och om den påverkar deras psykiska hälsa. Syftet var även att ta reda på om elever upplever att de själva kan påverka sin situation i skolan och arbetet på skolan. Studien hade en kvantitativ design och utgick från en enkätundersökning som gjordes på en skola med elever i årskurs sju. Resultaten presenterades under tre teman: elevernas uppfattning kring sin hälsa, elevernas syn på den psykosociala skolmiljön och elevernas möjlighet att påverka deras situation i skolan. Uppsatsen hade en positivistisk vetenskapsfilosofisk position och analysen utgick från Antonovskys och Lazarus perspektiv på Copingteori.

During the last 20 years a new category of schools, schools for children with special needs, has settled to be a growing part of the Swedish school system. This is despite the political aim in Sweden to achieve an educational inclusion. The aim of this study is to compare the school situation for children with special needs in regular schools with the situation in schools for children with special needs. To investigate the routines associated with the change of school and the role of a neuropsychological diagnosis in the process. The main research questions were if the school is adapted to the needs of the child from a neuro-didactic point of view, whether the special school provides something the public school doesn?t and if the diagnosis helps to take pedagogical measures.

Denna uppsats är en C-uppsats i socialt arbete. Syftet med uppsatsen är att förstå och beskriva hörselskadades situation avseende högskolestudier. Fyra specifika frågeställningar har formulerats: - Hur ser tillgängligheten ut, hur ser de formella mötena ut, hur ser de informella mötena ut och på vad sätt inverkar hörselskadan?Studien har en kvalitativ ansats med hermeneutiska inslag. Intervjuer har gjorts med sex hörselskadade som berättat om sina upplevelser kring sin egen studiesituation.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur ett företag kan hantera sin valutarisk- och exponering. Vi kommer att genomföra undersökningen genom att kartlägga ett fallföretags nuvarande situation, för att därefter försöka finna ett effektivt sätt för det att hantera densamma. Som metod för att uppnå syftet har en kvalitativ fallstudie genomförts. Denna har gett oss möjlighet att studera vårt problemområde ur flera dimensioner, att gå på djupet med desamma samt göra efterforskningar på ett grundligt sätt. Vidare har vi gjort en deskriptiv undersökning av det studerade med utgångspunkt dels i sekundärdata för att bredda och fördjupa våra kunskaper inom området, dels i primärdata för att komma närmare vårt undersökningsobjekt och på grund av att området kontinuerligt förändras.

This is a study, the purpose of which is to investigate how the construction company Sefab Bygg AB is able to increase its profitability and render a more efficient production process through logistic solutions. The study is made during one of Sefab´s present projects. The project includes sanitary renovation of 650 apartments in the co-operative Opalen in Norrköping.To find out whether changes of logistic routines are profitable or not, it?s necessary to evaluate the total cost of the changes. A total cost analysis is a mapping of all the costs for a particular material, on one hand for the present situation and on the other after the change.

This essay examines the appearance of Ha?kan Juholt, former party leader of the swedish social democratic party, in the norwegian/swedish talk show Skavlan, during Juholt?s crisis of confidence in the autumn of 2011. In this appearance it is clear that Juholt is badly treated by the host Fredrik Skavlan, and his guest, writer and journalist Linn Ullmann, while the audience seems to applaud and laugh at Skavlans and Ullmanns criticisms.The purpose of this essay is to investigate how, and why Juholt is treated in this way, and which rhetorical strategies Skavlan and Ullmann employ to create community between them selves and their audience. To understand this occurrence it is important to study Juholt?s rhetorical situation, and which conditions his lack of confidence creates for his appearance in Skavlan.

Den nionde november 1989 föll Berlinmuren som sedan flera decennier hade delat Tyskland i en kommunistiskt Östtyskland och kapitalistisk Västtyskland. Berlinmurens fall symboliserade slutet av kalla kriget och kommunismens nederlag. Tyskland skulle förenas och en gemensam politik och ekonomi skulle utformas. Återföreningen av ett splittrad Tyskland innebar stora förändringar för den östtyska befolkningen och de östtyska företagen. De flesta företagen fick det mycket svårt att anpassa sig till de nya omständigheterna och konkurrera med de modernare västtyska företagen.

Motivation är ett begrepp som vi alla någon gång har kommit i kontakt med. Motivation behöver finnas för att en person ska vilja utföra en handling. Att som student ha motivation är viktigt för att kunna prestera bra. I den här uppsatsen definierar vi motivation som lusten att studera. Brist på motivation är det största hindret för inlärning i skolan.

Persons suffering from Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) struggle with complications within the functions that regulate and control the brain activities, due to deficiencies in these functions within the affected nerve-paths. ADHD is a cognitive function impairment characterised by inattention, impulsiveness and over activity. According to Diagnostic and Statistic Manual of Mental Disorders, American Psychiatric Association (DSM-IV), certain diagnostic criteria of ADHD must be fulfilled in order for a person to be diagnosed with ADHD. The everyday problems caused by ADHD are individual and medication can have positive effects relieving the person?s impairing behaviour.

Purpose ? The purpose of this thesis is to develop a total cost model for container transports and create a tool that calculates a suitable transport quantity from an economic view, which fulfills the demands on delivery service. To achieve this purpose the following questions will be answered:Which costs are affected by the decision between the two transport alternatives LCL and FCL?   How does the decision of sending product LCL or FCL influence the delivery service?  How can a tool be constructed to simplify the decision-making process regarding the choice of sending products LCL or FCL?  Method ? A total cost model was developed. This model is supported from existing literature.

Through discourse analysis of twelve Library and Information Science theses, covering the period between 1975 and 2007, this thesis examines representations of homosexuality and homosexual identities. By using queer theory as a point of reference aspects such as essence/construct, equality/difference, notions of gender and views on the historical and contemporary situation of homosexuals are brought to the fore in the analysis. It is shown how the material unequivocally posits the contemporary situation of homosexuals favourably in comparison to a past signified by prejudices and oppression. This can be seen as an implicit essentialism in the texts, though ambivalences open up the possibility that it in some cases may be only strategically used while explicitly adhering to constructionist views. In linking concepts of a homosexual difference to prejudices, frequently involving notions of inverted gender performances or sexual ?extremes?, the discourse of progression posits normalcy and assimilation as positive values.

Problem: The Swedish wage-setting has changed since the time for the breakthrough of the industrialism until today. Before that, wages often consisted of perquisites or goods that could be exchanged against other goods. Rural people were often self-sufficient. In some cases the farmer owned the land, in other cases they where tenants. At the time for the breakthrough of industrialism the demand for similar labour were increased.

Bakgrund: Antalet patienter i behov av njurtransplantation per år är cirka 400-500, varav endast cirka 350 kommer att bli transplanterade. Bristen på organ är tydligt framträdande. I väntan på transplantation behöver patienten dialysbehandling, vilket ofta upplevs vara tidskrävande och utmattande. Sjuksköterskor bör ha kunskap om patienters upplevelser i samband med väntan på transplantation för att kunna utvecklas i sin roll som sjuksköterska och få en djupare förståelse för deras situation.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva kroniskt njursjuka patienters upplevelser av att leva med dialysbehandling och väntan på transplantation.Metod: Studien är en litteratursammanställning av tio kvalitativa och kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar inom området, vilka har granskats, analyserats och sammanställts.Resultat: I resultatet framkom flera olika upplevelser, så som längtan efter frihet, utmattning, höga förväntningar, frustration och rädsla inför framtiden i samband med dialysbehandlingen och väntan på transplantationen.Slutsats: Kroniskt njursjuka patienters upplever sin situation som psykiskt, fysiskt och socialt påfrestande. En av sjuksköterskans viktigaste uppgifter i samband med bemötandet av patienter under dialysbehandling är att vara tillgänglig.

AbstractMotor sports have been around as long as motor vehicles have been. Sports are often seen as costly polluter but in the same time the motor sports have encourages a large part of development, both for vehicles and other industries. Inventions like rear mirror and ABS brakes come from motor sports. One way to once again drive development forward while making motor sports carbon-neutral is to run the race cars on hydrogen. In this thesis, the goal is to convert a spark ignition engine for hydrogen operation.
