Farmers Cooperative has in recent years developed from national markets to cross-border, international, collaborations. One example is the merger between the Swedish dairy company Arla and Danish MD Foods, where the companies collectively are sought to reduce transaction costs and thus improve efficiency. The Swedish market for commodities (fertilizers and pesticides) in agriculture has for many years been dominated by a few large players, with little opportunity for grain associations and local grain companies to offer their customers a varied range of commodities with a competitive pricing.To change this state, a majority of Swedish and Danish grain associations and local grain companies have established a trans-national cooperation. Through the establishment of the organization DLA Agro, they offer their customers a good variety of products with competitive prices. This study investigates thus according to the theory of cooperative models to what extent and how the DLA Agro helps to create benefits for the Swedish member companies.

I svensk rätt gäller som utgångspunkt att alla räntor är avdragsgilla. Sedan 1 januari 2013 begränsas dock rätten till avdrag för samtliga koncerninterna lån, eftersom det visat sig att bolag utnyttjat rätten till avdrag för att uppnå skattefördelar. Det finns dock undantag till begräsningen då avdrag ändå kan medges. Ett sådant undantag är den så kallade tioprocentsregeln. Regeln innebär att avdrag ändå kan medges, om det företag som faktiskt har rätt till inkomsten beskattas med minst tio procent.

Denna uppsats undersöker vilka faktorer som påverkar förändringar i elspotpriset på Nord Pool. Avsikten är att resultatet skall ligga till grund för en prisuppskattningsmodell för Lunds Energikoncernen AB. Faktorerna bestämdes genom en förstudie där viktig litteratur om elmarknaden studerades samt samtal med Lunds Energikoncernen AB. De faktorer som undersöks i denna uppsats är priset på utsläppsrätter, nettoexport till Tysk-land, temperatur, nederbörd, priset på kol och villaolja samt konjunkturutveckling i Sve-rige.Undersökningen av faktorerna bestod av en multipel regressionsanalys med undersökta faktorer som oberoende variabler och elspotpriset på Nord Pool som den beroende va-riabeln. Faktorerna blev indelade i två grupper dagsgruppen och månadsgruppen, grunden till uppdelningen är som namnen antyder att statistiken var observerad dygnsvis och må-nadsvis.

The inequality and separation of sexes seen in organizations may lead to inefficient use of human resources. Therefor, a more equal organization could lead to higher productivity and efficiency. Inequality within organizations is a problem also for the society as a whole since who is chosen for a position is not depended upon merits, leading to inefficiency. To not reflect upon traditional division of labor and decision-making could also lead to an undemocratic and unjust society. The aim of this thesis is to explore women and men?s engagement a family business in an agricultural setting. Gender theorists argue that gender arises from the social situation in society.

Gardens from the first decades of the 20th century are often described as seen from a sublime ownership perspective. It may be artists, authors or some other intellectuals, they are all attributed as creators of the referred estate. As far as practically oriented gardeners, constructors or garden consultants are mentioned, they are consequently seen as the mere instruments for carrying out the intentions of the actual owners. Referring to those circumstances it is however well worth notifying that all properties, and in particular the gardens belonging to it, are submitted to a constant change. For anyone acquainted with garden work, it is quite obvious that the gardens vitality is closely related to the ongoing design process, by which form and content are created and re-created.

The price of farmland has risen sharply in the last 20 years. This has led to discussions about what creates the value of farmland. The aim in this study was to try and find what factors are affecting the price on farmland. The area that is studied is the counties around Mälardalen during the period 2005 to 2009.The method chosen to achieve the objective is the hedonic price model. The variables are chosen after a preliminary study where a literature search has been made and a number of interviews with people in the industry.

At the farm Fride, in Lojsta at the Southern part of Gotland, my family runs a pig production with 80 part-integrated sows in a ?Familybox-system?. The main parts of the facilities are from the early 90´s and have done their job. The production results have the last years decreased because of new infections so we have to do something before shifting ownership! This degree thesis is meant to answer the question about which the optimal extension would be today. By studying literature, use my own experience and make lots of calculations, I try to find out different opportunities.

Assisted living is a relatively new form of housing that received a government definition in 2007 in conjunction with a government appointed investigation of future alternative accommodation for senior citizens. The type of accommodation is intended for seniors who have the need for increased security, which may be a consequence of that they feel anxious or lonely. It concerns ordinary homes with qualities that suit needs of seniors. There is no allowance from the local municipality required in order for seniors to apply for these homes and so assisted living should not be confused with nursing homes/ sheltered housing. The purpose of this study is to identify success factors for a winning concept for assisted living in the Gothenburg region, on behalf of Skanska Project development.

The purpose of this essay is to examine wage-earners' investment funds from the ideological point of view. Were they in any way an integrated part of social democratical democratic socialism and reformism? I emphasize Olof Palme´s ideological idea of democratic socialism and reformism, and how he handled the issue. How did the question of these funds correspondent with the basic ideological points of view, and what was the standpoint of Palme in this issue.My method is built upon a deep study and analyses of SAP board of party and the standing committees protocol in the light of Olof Palme´s and SAP's ideology. I even use information from literature, inquiries and dissertations.

Introduction In order to foster innovation of medical devices within the healthcare sector, a collaboration project, PUSH, has been initiated including the hospitals managed by the Stockholm County Council. The collaboration aims to capture ideas from employees and turn them into so called ?high-practice? products as well as facilitate the possibilities for medical device companies to try out their products in the settings of healthcare. Collaborations for innovation, comparable to the PUSH project, can be found in both Swedish and foreign regions, but some of them fail to survive due to obstacles affecting the progress of each collaboration. Avoiding the same destiny will be a challenge to the PUSH project.Purpose The purpose is to search for factors affecting organizational collaboration concerning innovation systems for medical device development.

By using pollen analysis, 14C-dating and historical sources, I studied the history of vegetation and land use at an abandoned forest settlement near the Lade summer farms in the parish of Mora, Dalama. The aim of this paper is to investigate the agricultural establishment and development, the effects of this on forest vegetation, and the origin and development of summer farming. The analysis of pollen in a peat core revealed that a settlement was established at Lade around 1000 AD. Cereal cultivation, hay-making on the mire and extensive forest grazing were intro-duced as a complete agricultural system. Pollen analysis and the presence of ancient fields suggests that cultivation took place on permanent fields. Barley was the main crop, but rye and hops/hemp were also grown at the settlement.

Detta faktum har väckt ett intresse från vår sida att undersöka hur detta arbete verkligen går till; är arbetssättet detsamma som vi lärt oss på universitetet eller har man andra arbetsmetoder än de som man inte kan läsa om i litteraturen?Syftet med denna uppsats är att, utifrån en kvalitativ undersökning, relevanspröva de aktievärderingsmodeller vi har kommit i kontakt med på universitetet. De modeller vi valt att undersöka är:- Capital asset pricing model/CAPM- Kassaflödesbaserad värdering- P/E-talsvärdering- Utdelningsbaserad värdering- Substansvärdering- Teknisk analysFör att genomföra detta har vi undersökt hur man arbetar med frågor kring aktievärdering på Handelsbanken och då främst på deras investmentbank Handelsbanken Capital Markets. Vi har även valt att inkludera en annan svensk storbank för att möjligen kunna generalisera de slutsatser vi kommer fram till.

Scandic Hotels AB driver två hotell i Umeå, Scandic Umeå Syd samt Scandic Plaza Umeå. Det förstnämnda är beläget på Teg ca 15 minuters promenad från centrum, medan det andra ligger mitt i centrum. Fram till för ungefär tre år sedan hette restaurangen på Scandic Plaza Umeå Viskningar & Rop, något som varit restaurangens namn sedan hotellet byggdes. Därefter valde de att byta namn till Brasseri Plaza. De tre efterföljande åren har Scandic Plaza Umeås hotellrestaurang sett en nedåtgående trend på deras försäljning.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att identifiera vad som påverkar privatpersoners risktolerans och vilka informationskällor som används i samband med aktieinvesteringar. Studien ska även undersöka vilken syn privatpersoner har på ägarstruktur i börsnoterade bolag och huruvida ägarstrukturen påverkar investeringsbeslutet. Utifrån detta vill författarna skapa teoretisk och empirisk kunskap.Metod: Studien genomfördes med hjälp av flermetodsforskning. Detta skedde genom att både kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod användes för att samla in empiri. Den kvalitativa metoden användes för att samla in empiri genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med analytiker, privatrådgivare och aktiemäklare.
