The purpose of this study was to investigate registered nurses experiences about giving support to relatives to patients within palliative home care. This study was descriptive with qualitative approach. The data collection was made in the form of semi structured qualitative interviews which took place in a Swedish city of medium size, in an area for palliative homecare. Six registrated nurses were interviewed which all gave informed consent. The study suffered no losses and permission from the director of the concerned department had been given prior to the start of this study.

The purpose of my study has been to find out how mother tongue teachers working in preschools where a majority of the children have a mother tongue other than Swedish make use of fictional children?s books during the mother tongue support lessons. In order to determine this, I am asking the following questions:- What is the range of children's books in the children's mother tongue available at the preschool?- In what ways are the native language teachers encouraging literacy development through the usage of children's books?- How do native language teachers view the childrens? linguistic development as well as the enhancement of cultural identity through the usage of the books?These questions have formed the basis of the methodical approach, which is based on a qualitative research method. The data collection consists of three parts; the observation of mother tongue support, interviews with language teachers as well as with the nursery manager and lastly a survey of children's books in languages other than Swedish at the preschool.The essay has as its theoretical basis the socio-cultural view of learning and development.

The aim of this descriptive review was to elucidate how the literature describes how children of parents with mental illness experience and have knowledge about their parent?s illness. The aim was furthermore to describe how the children?s existence is affected, can be improved and why the children so often are invisible. Search through Medline (through PubMed) database and additional manual search was conducted.

The purpose of this study is to establish how a few youngsters have experienced their time in contact families and which, if any, significance their respective ?contact families? has for them today. The study aims to determine the life situation in the youth?s families at the time support through ?contact families? was initiated and the youths? own view of the reasons for this support. We also want to shed light on the meaning that the contact families had on the youth; considering both positive as well as negative meaning.

Övervikt och fetma är ett stort problem världen över. Varje år dör 2,8 miljoner vuxna människor av sjukdomen. För att kunna arbeta preventivt mot övervikt och fetma och hjälpa de patienter som lider av sjukdomen bör sjuksköterskan ha mer kunskap och utbildning om de bakomliggande faktorerna. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa bakomliggande faktorer för övervikt och fetma. 12 vetenskapliga artiklar valdes ut och granskades och resultatet framkom i form av fyra kategorier; livsstilsfaktorer, känslor och relationer, socioekonomiska faktorer och genetiska faktorer.  I ett flertal studier framkom det att brist på fysisk aktivitet var en starkt bidragande faktor till viktuppgång.

Bakgrund: I bakgrunden beskrivs viktiga begrepp som hälsa, lidande, övervikt, konsekvenser av övervikt, behandling, utsatthet och betydelse av aktivitet. Detta för att läsaren ska kunna förstå vidden av problemet. Studien kommer att inrikta sig på överviktiga barn och ungdomar.Problem: Övervikt hos barn och ungdomar är ett växande problem som leder till flera negativa konsekvenser, många fysiska men även psykiska, andliga och sociala.Syfte: Att beskriva överviktiga barn och ungdomars upplevelser av hälsa och lidande.Metod: En kvalitativ litteraturstudie med en induktiv ansats och manifest innehållsanalys baserad på Graneheim & Lundmans (2004) metodartikel. Studien är utförd på självbiografier där vuxna människor beskriver sina upplevelser av att växa upp med övervikt.Resultat: Studien visar överviktiga barn och ungdomars upplevelser på grund av sin övervikt avseende hälsa och lidande. Resultatet presenteras under kategorierna självkänsla, självförakt, desperation, utsatthet, utanförskap och kärlek.Slutsats: Många barn och ungdomar med övervikt upplever ett stort lidande och knappt någon hälsa.

The aim of this qualitative study was to examine six individuals' experiences to talk about the sexual abuse that occurred in their childhood. We interviewed five women and one man, using a phenomenological approach during the work process. The theories emerged as we analyzed our results and appeared to be communication, cognitive theory, validation, trauma theory and taboo. The results showed that the respondents, whom disclosed the abuse as children, were most likely to get a negative response from both formal and informal support systems. While as adults they were confirmed to a greater extent and therefore achieved a better physical and mental wellbeing.

Background:Breast milk has many good qualities and recommendations declare that breast milk alone is the most favorable choice for newborn babies up to six months of age. When the mother can´t provide her own breast milk for her baby, donor milk is a valuable source. Unfortunately the demand is often higher than the supply and thereby milk banks suffer from shortages. Aim: Highlighting women's experiences of being milk donors. Method: The study has been conducted as a literature review in which existing research has been used.

Transfer pricing including internal loans have increased in recent years, making it easier for companies to minimize their taxable income. After the Swedish court case Diligentia, there have been discussions regarding the influence of a parent company's transparency and control of the subsidiary with regards to the interest rates on internal loans. In court cases that followed Diligentia, the Swedish Tax Agency argued that a parent company always could be assumed to have sufficient transparency and control of the operations in the subsidiary, and therefore reduce the risk on their debt obligations. This thesis seeks to analyze the effects of the transparency and control a parent company has with regards to interest rates on internal loans. The analysis is conducted by analyzing court cases similar to Diligentia.

The aim with this study was to collect fundamental information, and to plan, a windpower farm in Juddhult , Småland in southern Sweden. The goal is to collect the bestavailable projecting planning support. The pieces of this projecting planning supportthat will be presented is; Environmental Consequence Description (MKB), productioncalculations, comparisons between different plant types, economic calculations, evaluatethe economy and give some farm design suggestions. The imagined wind farm will belocated in forest environment and which may cause a number of new problems. Specialinterest that will be affected, where special consideration because of the forestenvironmental is requested is, hunting, wetlands, ancient monuments and windturbulence.

The purpose of this study was to examine high school students conceptions of young people who run away or get thrown out of their homes. Earlier research shows that this group of young people often come from families were physical, psychological and sexual abuse is reappearing factors. They often face a life of homelessness, drug abuse and prostitution. Still there is little research done about this phenomenon and what kind of help and support these young people could need. This study was done in a qualitative approach with the use of focus groups.

ABSTRACTAim: The aim of this study is to chart the experiences of Swedish general psychiatric care on a Swedish University hospital from a relative?s point of view. The study focus on how they are meet, satisfaction with and participation in the care. The study is done as an improvement project.Methods: The study was conducted by performing semi-structured interviews with eight close relatives to patients on a general psychiatric ward. The interviews lasted for 20-40 minutes.Results: The result shows that relatives are satisfied with the way they are meet by the staff on the ward, that they appreciate staff that are open, down to earth and are inviting to form a good relationship.

The purpose of this paper was to examine how young parenthood is represented by the professionals and their thoughts and experiences from meetings with the young parents, and how the professionals work with this group of parents. As professionals we refer to those who work with young parents, and the definition of young parents are parents in the ages 15-24. The paper also discusses what needs these parents have, and what kind of support the society offers, according to the professionals. The method we worked with was interviews and we interviewed six professionals to find out how the professionals looked upon the young parents and their situation. Earlier research has stated that young parenthood is associated with many risks and disadvantages for both the parents and their children.

 Övervikt och fetma är ett ökande problem i samhället och i världen. Diskrimminering och negativa attityder mot överviktiga människor är vanligt. Upprätthållande av patienternas värdighet är fundamentalt för god omvårdnad. Syftet med denna studie har varit att belysa och sammanställa forskning som beskriver överviktiga människors erfarenheter av värdighet vid behandling och vård inom Hälso- och Sjukvården. Elektroniska sökningar har gjorts i två databaser tillsammans med manuell sökning för att finna referenser.
