AimThe purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is scientific evidence that exercise and/or manual therapy can improve function, in terms of increased mobility and strength on shoulder impingement-like symptoms among athletes. Another aim is to investigate whether these interventions can reduce shoulder pain.MethodA systematic review was conducted in the databases PubMed, CINAHL, PEDro and Amed. A total of thirteen articles were selected for further review and compilation. They were then graded for level of evidence according to the PEDro scale and the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment (SBU).ResultsThe systematic review shows that there is strong scientific evidence that acupuncture and heat can reduce pain in athletes diagnosed with supraspinatus-tendiopathy. There is limited scientific evidence that exercise increases strength, limited scientific evidence that stretching increases mobility and insufficient scientific evidence that a combination of treatments, with both exercise and stretching, reduces pain and increases function in Overhead athletes.ConclusionsExercise and manual therapy can reduce pain and/or improve function in terms of increased mobility and strength in athletes with shoulder impingement-like symptoms.

The accounting information system comprises budgeting, accounting, and costing. The accounting information system has, traditionally, constituted an integrated system where the different elements collaborate. If ABC is introduced this order is disturbed, since ABC is based on another logic which cannot easily be integrated with budget and accounting. ABC, therefore, is usually used parallely to the conventional costing method. There are, however, companies that have taken its ABC one step further by letting it replace the old costing model and integrate it with the accounting information system.

At Saab Aerosystems, situated in Linköping Sweden, there is a presentation and manoeuvre simulator simulating the fighter jet JAS-39 Gripen. This flight simulator is called PMSIM. In this thesis we study how to transfer sensor images generated by PMSIM to other simulators or desktop computers. The transmission is band-limited so some kind of image coding must be used. Because of this the greater part of this thesis is concerned with image coding.

 Extra high requirements are made on all systems in health care that they are functional and usable,´something, however, that is not always the case. At Emergency Admissions at Sahlgrenska University´Hospital many systems are in use at the same time and it happens that much Overhead is caused by having to fill in the same information in different places. In addition, data that is gathered is to a large extent saved in free text format, which means that it cannot be used in a larger context such as research, quality control or for decision support. Data is saved in the patient file only for the treatment process of the individual patient.A data collecting system with decision support functionality could be a first step towards reducing Emergency Admissions? costs and patients? waiting times by providing a structured method of data collection.

Kranlaster som verkar på kranbanor varierar med tiden och kan inte behandlas som statiska laster, detta gör att en statisk beräkning inte är tillräckligt säker, därför bör kranbalkar utformas på så sett att den klarar av statiska såväl som dynamiska kranlaster.Arbetet valdes efter förstudier som gjordes på internet för att få grundläggande kunskap om ämnet. Informationen söktes på svenska, engelska och tyska för att kunna hitta relevanta och pålitliga källor som behandlar traverskranbanor enligt eurokod. Tack vare råd från Björn Åsted från Stålbyggnadsinstitutet (SBI), kunde en bok på tyska hittas. För att kunna jämföra resultaten används ett svenskt program CraneGirder EC3 under arbetet.Rapporten innehåller en beräkningsmodell för en valsad profil balk, beräkningar baserades på eurokod ekvationer och föreskrifter vilket var som dimensionerings underlag för arbetet. I denna rapport hänvisas hur en kranbana skall dimensioneras med hög utnyttjandegrad, ett antal kontroller gjordes för att säkerställa att balken och dess detaljer, såsom räl och svets är säkert utformade mot utmattning och deformation.

During the period 2009-2013, investments in the Swedish national grid increase by a factor of ten compared to previous years. In order to fulfil their mission to manage the national grid in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound way, Svenska Kraftnät (Swedish National Grid) needs to take all these perspectives into account while planning new investments. To compare and relate perspectives of technology, economy and environment the same yard stick must be used. That yard stick is commonly money. A problem arises however as environmental issues are difficult to price.The purpose of this master?s degree project was to develop a tool for evaluation of environmental impact related to investments in the Swedish national grid.

Att använda datorer i matematikundervisningen kan huvudsakligen ha två olika syften. Antingen kan syftet vara att eleverna ska lära sig använda datorer och tekniska hjälpmedel (vilket ingår i flera av gymnasieskolans kursplaner) eller så används datorer och tekniska hjälpmedel som ett hjälpmedel i själva undervisningen så att eleverna kan lära sig matematiken på ett bättre sätt. Den senare aspekten har undersökts i detta arbete. Fem lärare har berättat hur de tar datorn till hjälp för att eleverna skall ta till sig matematiken på ett bättre och effektivare sätt och två olika användningssätt har här kunnat identifieras. Det första sättet är att läraren använder datorn som ett hjälpmedel vid genomgångar, då läraren använder datorn och eleverna tittar på en storbild och ser vad läraren gör, som en föredrags-hållare använder en Overhead eller PowerPoint.

As a result of this many Overhead lines in forests were cablified. In urban areas underground cable systems have been the norm for many years.
