This study aims to find possible effects from the use of Voice over internet protocol software together with computer gaming on young adults English output. The study also tries to find effects of media usage on output and if there exists differences between boys and girls. This is done through analysis based on data collected from 28 informants, age 16-18. The data consists of recordings of individual stories coupled with a survey. The empirical data is analyzed in both quantitative and qualitative way.

Syftet med den här studien är att ta reda på vilka verksamheter som ingår i utomhusundervisningen i åk 1-6 i skolorna i Pargas, vilka möjligheter och vilka hinder lärarna upplever samt hur eleverna upplever utomhusundervisningen. Undersökningen riktar sig till samtliga klasslärare i Pargas stad. Utgående från att allt fler rapporter visar på barns och ungdomars stillasittande, försämrade hälsa och stressymptom behöver vi medvetet fundera på hur vi kan förändra skolans arbetsmetoder för att befrämja välmående och hälsa. Uppsatsen strävar till att ringa in vad utomhuspedagogik innebär, att ge en liten bakgrund samt redogöra för några, främst nordiska forskares syn på utomhusundervisning. Studien innefattar en lärarenkät, några lärarintervjuer samt belyser elevernas åsikter med hjälp av en elevenkät.

Fortunately it is a relatively uncommon occurrence but happens nonetheless to young athletes who often seems to be in perfect health. SCD is used as a term for sudden unexpected complications on the cardiovascular system that leads to a deadly outcome normally within the first hour of onset of symptoms and the cause is some sort of underlying cardiovascular disease that gets triggered by physical activity.Normally athletes gets divided into two groups dependent on age, over and under 35 years, and this studies focus is on the younger group since it is often during this period athletes are at the elite level. It is also in this category the most unexpected sudden deaths occur that is not due to coronary atherosclerosis, which is the dominant cause of death, and drastically increases, for people over 35 years old.AimThe aim of this study was to scientific and unbiased analyze peer-reviewed clinical articles todescribe the pros, cons and cost to implement an ECG-screening as a standard before physicalactivities for specifically defined elite athletes.MethodA systematic review was performed and after all data collection 21 articles was chosen to beused as a base for both background and analyze. At the end 10 articles was fulfilling the criteria to be used at the analyze and later the results.ResultsThe implementation of ECG-screening has reduced SCD in Italy by 89 % between the years 1979-2004.

För att uppnå syftet valdes kvalitativa intervjuer som metod. Intervjuerna var semistrukturerade och utgick från en egengjord intervjuguide. Resultatet visade att utmaningen, gemenskapen, fysisk träning, självständighet, balans i vardagen, livssynen och rehabiliteringsteamet var faktorer som påverkade deltagarnas utförande av fritidsaktiviteter. Att anpassa fritidsaktiviteten eller att få personligt stöd var vanligare än att anpassa den fysiska miljön..

Syfte: Undersöka hur fritidspedagoger arbetar med utomhuspedagogik och deras förhållningssätt till ämnet. Metod: Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med åtta fritidspedagoger, fyra från landsbygden och fyra från staden. Resultat: Samtliga pedagoger fann ett personligt intresse för att vistas utomhus och detta syntes i deras verksamhet. Pedagogerna definierade Utomhuspedagogik som att vara utomhus och att bedriva verksamhet där. De anser att man lär sig lättare och på ett annat sätt utomhus.

In this essay, a comparison between two activity areas on Ajvide have been carried out in the purpose of finding out what these areas may have been used for during the middle Neolithic.  It has been showed, through zooarchaeological analyses of animal bones, that the areas most likely are depositing sites for slaughters refuse and food debris. Aim and scientific issuesThe aim was to identify potential health risks, for full-time working parents with small children, caused by time shortage. The intention was to better understand and help this particularly time-pressured group in society to achieve a healthier lifestyle. The identification was built upon their own opinions about possible health risks and upon an interpretation of the health risks from a health promoter?s perspective.How do full-time working parents with young children handle time-shortage in a health perspective, specified in the categories: sleep, recovery, nutrition, physical activity, social health and mental health?What consequences for health does time?shortage have for full-time working parents with young children?What do parents with young children think could help them to obtain a better health in everyday life? MethodThe study was based on a literature overview and semi-structured interviews with 6 people who were strategically selected: the interview objects were all full-time working or studying, had one child under 7 and lived together with a partner. All interviews were recorded using two dictaphones and were implemented, transcribed and analyzed by both writers of this essay to increase the reliability of the results.ResultsTime shortage is shown to be handled especially through priorities in the respondent?s lives.

Syftet med vår studie är att belysa aktiva förskolepedagogers tankar och funderingar om utomhuspedagogik. En dag på en förskola är inte den andra lik och inte minst pedagogers syn på utevistelse skiljer sig åt. Studien har utgått från frågeställningarna: Vad anser pedagogerna är positivt respektive negativt med utomhuspedagogik? Hur ser den pedagogiska verksamheten ut utomhus? Hur använder pedagogerna sin närmiljö i sin utomhuspedagogik? The public used timber-floating system in Dalälven and the historical background about this activity is described. The study is focused on the total costs for timber-floating in the public open floating system in Dalälven from 1900 to 1970, the year before the timber-floating was definitively closed down. The purpose of this thesis was to create a visual identity to the café Trädgårdscafét. This was to increase the awareness of the cafe among the population of Borlänge. To make the company's visual identity visible, we also organized a guerrilla marketing. The outcome of the guerrilla marketing were then measured by calculating the number of guests during a certain period of time and also through a survey conducted in Borlänge.Graphic material, such as a graphic identity, business cards, feel good-cards, store signs, standing information folders to place on the tables and pavement board was created. Flyers and posters were also created for the guerrilla marketing.

Aim: The study aims to investigate the distribution of grades between students in a practical subject and in a theoretical subject.The problem:What is the grade distribution in physical education and mathematics, with respect to gender, socioeconomic background, parental education, ethnicity, and physical activity?Method:To answer the aim of the study a quantitative method was chosen. As the collection method used was questionnaires to 620 students in the 9th grade in Stockholm. Of the 620 questionnaires, 597 questionnaires were used for the static analysis. The method of analysis used cross tables and logistic regression analysis.
