This thesis is a case study of the search function on the University of Uppsala?s web site. The search function in this study was chosen since it exists on a large and complex web site and there were apparent lacks in the old version of the search function. The thesis highlights some of the problems that can appear in the development of a search function on a local site. One interesting find is that one of the most difficult issues is organizational and not technical.

The aim of our research in this study, which has a qualitative attempt, is to investigate participation concerning to a few co-workers in the old-age care. The co-workers experience of participation and their definition of participation, and how participation is related to our different themes. Our themes are the present and wanted assumptions, to make participation possible. Further more does this study discuss participation in relation to the themes communication, competence education and to physical and psychic health. The method we used was primary semi-structured interviews and some observations.

My master?s thesis is a study of acquisition of photographies during 1958-2008. The questions I proceed from is what patterns lies behind the Royal library's acquisition of photography and how the process of acquisition looks like. The theoretical base which I lean on consists partly of a problematization of the process of cultural heritage and partly of organizational theory. The problematization of the process of cultural heritage is my foundation of this essay.

Denna uppsats handlar om en kurs, vid namn Elkompetens A, en grundläggande, men också behörighetsgivande kurs som ingår i Elprogrammets obligatoriska kurser. Den genomförs vid Carlsunds Utbildningscentrum i Motala på elprogrammets första årskurs.I detta arbete har jag försökt få svar på, vilken av två olika arbetsupplägg, som gav eleverna mest utbyte i form av kunskaper att bygga vidare på i nästkommande årskurser. The auditor constitutes a profession and therefore it is important that there is a trust since the auditor is the one that certifies the quality of the company?s economical information.
Information bibliotek företag En utvärdering av EU-projektet "ITF på biblioteken i östra Värmland"
This report is the result of an evaluation of a project, conducted by five regional libraries. Through a training course the project should inspire small and medium sized enterprises to use modern information technology and Internet when searching for information. To evaluate the project, qualitative interviews were conducted with five librarians and quantitative questionnaires were distributed to all the course participants. The evaluation shows that the project goals were met, apart from the number of course participants, which was much lower than anticipated. It also shows that the project resulted in an increase in information technology and competence at the libraries, and that the course participants profit from their increased knowledge in their daily work..
Varför togs beslut om Sveriges första marina internationella insats i Libanon 2006?
Sverige har bidragit med trupp till internationella insatser sedan 1950-talet. Detta har gjorts med bidrag från framför allt markstridskrafter men även med luftstridskrafter. Det dröjer fram till 2006 innan beslut tas om en marin internationell insats i form av korvettförband som bidrag till FN-insatsen UNIFIL i Libanon. Denna insats har fram till idag följts av fyra marina insatser, en förlängning av UNIFIL i Libanon 2007 och tre insatser i Somalia under åren 2009-2013. Beslutet om den marina insatsen i Libanon är för marinen banbrytande.

I den här uppsatsen undersökts det hur rekryteringsprocessen av inköpsassistenter ser ut i teori och praktik och vilka kompetenser yrket efterfrågar. Ämnet är aktuellt då yrkesrollen som inköpsassistent är svår att definiera och teori har påvisat att rekrytering försvåras av det faktum. Det kan i sin tur leda till felrekryteringar som kan ge stora konsekvenser i ett företag. Ämnet är också relevant då förändringar inom modebranschen har påverkat yrkesrollerna inom branschen i hög takt vilket resulterat i att samma yrkesroll har olika innebörd på olika företag. This essay takes the three models from Allison and Zelikow book Essence of decision and applies them on the Swedish defense system. After the cold war the Swedish defense system had to undergo changes to be a more modern defense and be able to defend Sweden against threats. To also be able to cooperate with other countries in peacekeeping operations the Swedish defense had to be reorganized. The solution was to change direction from a defense system that was organized for invasion to instead be a movable defense ready for any challenge in Sweden or abroad. This reorganization will be analyzed according to the three different models..
