Uppsatsen handlar om homosexualitet bland män i höga positioner på statliga institutioner. Vi har intervjuat fyra homosexuella män varav tre är yrkesverksamma. Utifrån Bourdieus fältbegrepp har vi försökt förstå chefernas berättelser och försökt skildra vilka sociala koder som man på deras arbetsplatser måste förhålla sig till. Det har visat sig att homosexualitet inte utgjort något större problem för informanterna i deras yrkesliv. Detta kan enligt oss delvis förklaras med att bland annat rationalitet och tolerans utgör centrala aspekter i en normativ intellektuell diskurs som ställer krav på aktörerna inom fältet.

Sammanfattningsvis kan vi dra slutsatsen att polisutbildningen tycks spela roll förpolisstudenternas socialisation. Detta ger sig uttryck i studenternas föreställningar om polisensagerande gentemot invandrare och polisstudenternas egen tolerans gentemot invandrare. Vi kan däremot se att utbildningen saknar samband med inställningen till ett riktat polisarbete samt att det istället är huruvida studenterna är födda i Sverige eller ej som har betydelse. Vi kan även dra slutsatsen att studier på högskola/universitet, vilket i tidigare undersökningar (se exempelvisEugene & Terrill 2007) har visat sig vara viktigt för polisens attityder, saknar relevans i dennastudie. Även faktorer som könstillhörighet och föräldrars utbildning saknar samband.

Syftet med detta arbete var att jämföra vad lärare respektive lärarstudenter uppfattar som viktigt när de beskriver läraryrket med betoning på värdegrundsarbete. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ ansats med fokusgruppsintervjuer som insamlingsmetod. Resultat blev att både lärare och lärarstudenter framförallt betonade ämneskompetens och den socialt fostrande kompetensen som viktiga i läraryrket. Trots detta uttryckte lärarna en önskan att prioritera ämnesundervisning framför andra uppgifter vilket inte var lika tydligt hos lärarstudenterna. Lärarna vill inte ha den fostrande uppgiften i skolan.

Epiteloidcellig granulomatos (ECG) är en patologanatomisk diagnos (PAD) av en inflammationstyp som kan ses i orala vävnadsbiopsier. Inflammationsbilden visar infiltrat av inflammationsceller och epiteloidcelliga granulom med eller utan jätteceller, därtill kan ödematös vävnad och fibros presenteras. Makroskopiskt ses en symtombild med t ex läpp- och ansiktssvullnad, munvinkelragader och gingivala hyperplasier. Klinisk ställs exklusionsdiagnosen orofacial granulomatos (OFG). Etiologin är multifaktoriell och kan ses vid exempelvis Crohns sjukdom (CS) och sarkoidos.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka gymnasieungdomars perspektiv på undervisning kring främlingsfientlighet och mångkultur. I min litteraturgenomgång har jag fångat upp vad forskningen kring dessa områden menar är relevanta. Som datainsamlingsmetod valde jag att använda mig av gruppintervjuer. Sammanlagt deltog elva elever i undersökningen. Resultatet från mina gruppintervjuer diskuteras sedan mot den forskning jag presenterat i tidigare avsnitt samt mot olika gymnasieskolans olika styrdokument.

Denna undersökning handlar om ifall kristendom kan ge upphov till ökad empati. Det bygger kring tanken att kristendom uppmanar till tolerans och förståelse, men frågan är om det verkligen stämmer. I undersökningen användes enkäter med en svensk översättning av C. D. Batsons (1994) empatiskala tillsammans med en berättelse i två versioner där huvudpersonen antingen framstod som elak eller snäll.
