Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla och normera ett logopediskt stavningstest för vuxna., då det idag saknas ett sådant test. Det framtagna testet bestod till en början av en orddel som innehöll 80 ord i varierande svårighetsgrad, utvalda för att representera svenskans olika stavningskombinationer. Vidare fanns en del med 80 nonord, konstruerade för att följa svenskans ljudmässiga uppbyggnad. 146 deltagare från 18 ? 94 år deltog i normeringen av testet.

Introduktion: Hos hemlösa är behovet av tandvård stort. En frisk mun förknippas med välbefinnande, ökad självkänsla och livskvalité.Syfte: Att beskriva hur tandvårdspersonal, dagcenterpersonal och en socialtjänsteman uppfattar de hemlösas egen syn på sin munhälsa.Material och metod: kvalitativ undersökning där semi-strukturerade intervjuer användes.Urval: Studien baserades på fyra intervjuer. Informanterna i studien var i sin profession tandläkare, tandhygienist, tjänsteman på socialförvaltningen och en person som tjänstgjorde på ett dagcenter.Resultat: Presenterades i fyra kategorier, socialt hinder, tandvårdsrädsla, akut smärta och hopp om förändring. Tandvårdsrädsla har två tillhörande underkategorier, trygghet och tillit och att känna sig utlämnad. Dessa kategorier återger informanternas upplevelse i kontakten med hemlösa.Konklusion: Hemlösa upplever frustration över att det tar lång tid att få hjälp med sin tandvård..

The Mobile phone has contributed to massive changes in the way that human beings communicate with each other and is a part of society?s globalization. Opinions differ in the area of user interface where some feel that mobile phones exclude users such as senior citizens or users with an intellectual or a physical disability.Universal Design ??design for all?, is a vision that intends to bring about settings, products and services that suits as many people as possible irrespective of an individual?s needs and prospects. The criteria for ?design for all? are among other things flexibility, user friendliness, comprehensibility and a high tolerance for mistakes.The purpose of this essay was to investigate the mobile phones graphic user-interface from the theory of a universal design.

When a company in the manufactory industry makes costly investments, it's important that these are used as much as possible. The company in this case claims that their invested robot cell, with CNC machine isn't used enough. The questions here are: How can we improve the use of the robot cell? Which products are appropriate for the production in the robot cell? As a method to come to a conclusion, an analysis has been made over the manufactured products. And also interviews with machine operators and the production management.

The division of Engineering Materials at Linköping University, department of Management and Engineering, conducted a research project concerning Fatigue life of thermal barrier coatings during 2009. During this project equipment to provoke these fatigue failure by rapidly heating and cooling test subjects in cycles, was ordered.Design and manufacturing of the equipment was handled internally at LIU.The equipment was built using a furnace that is lowered and raised over the table where the test subject is placed. To keep the temperature of the furnace a lid slides in place to close the downward facing opening of the furnace when it is in the raised position. On this door there is nozzle that is used to cooling of the test subject by air.To make sure that the equipment can work independently you need an automation controller that can evaluate if movement can occur without danger of collisions. The control system also needs to monitor that all elements are performed according to plan.This degree project is based on a modular system from OPTO 22 and includes the configuration of a PLC that will be supplied with logic and a user interface.The degree project resulted in a graphic interface in which a user can set desired values for different parameters and get information about current values for them.

The purpose of this study was to gather knowledge about the functioning of the rein tension meter and test it for future studies of match and mismatch between rider and horse. We looked specifically into the possibilities to use a rein-tension meter to determine the quality of cooperation between horse and rider. We examined whether a rider shows a specific tension pattern and also if certain patterns could be recognised for a specific horse. During the study, a manual with pictures and text was written to support the practical use of the meter. The manual describes in a simple way the first steps in the installation and use of the meter.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna studie är att beskriva svenska elitseglares fysiska kapacitet mätt med Sveriges Olympiska Kommittés Fysprofil.MetodFjorton svenska seglare på elitnivå, fem kvinnor och nio män, inkluderades i studien för att genomgå Svenska Olympiska Kommitténs Fysprofil, innehållande följande tester; roddergometer, brutalbänk, chins, greppergometer, knäböj med skivstång, bänkdrag, squat jump och counter movement jump med armsving. Testerna utfördes på Bosön (Stockholm). Statistiska analysen utfördes med programmet Statistica för jämförelse inom och mellan testpersonerna och presenteras som medelvärde och standardavvikelse (SD) .ResultatMaximal syreupptagningsförmåga mätt med roddergometer var för kvinnor 2,9L/min (0,1) och män 4,7L/min (0,5). Syreupptagningsförmågan per kilo kroppsvikt och minut för kvinnor 46,7ml (1,7) och för män 58,4ml (3,2). Den uppmätta roddsträckan under fyra minuter var för kvinnor 1040,8m (9,1) och för män 1215,3m (53,7).

Detta kandidatarbete är utarbetat på Blekinge Tekniska Högskola under våren 2002. I utredningen har vi jämfört röstigenkänningsprogram under en treårsperiod, program från 1999 och program från 2002. 1999 års test visade på programvaror med lång träningstid, enkla gränssnitt, stor känslighet för bakgrundsljud och låg användbarhet. Vid arbetsstart förväntade vi oss inte att hitta någon större förändring i användbarheten hos dessa program 2002, då röstigenkänningsprogram inte verkar ha stor användarskara. Utifrån följande hypotes har vi genomfört arbetet: Vi vill med vår undersökning bevisa att användbarheten inom röstigenkänningsteknologi inte har förbättrats under perioden 1999-2002. Vi har för avsikt att med hjälp av test utförda på program och demoversioner bevisa vår hypotes. I enighet med bifogad testspecifikation har vi utfört testerna. Många företag har utvecklat sina produkter och gjort dem bättre.

Flertalet undersöknings- och behandlingsmetoder med varierande evidensnivå finns att tillgå. Syfte: Kartlägga sjukgymnasters val av metoder gällande undersökning och behandling vid anterior skulderledsinstabilitet för patienter i åldern 15-35 år samt skäl till vald behandling. Metod: En webbenkät skickades till 178 sjukgymnaster inom primärvård och privat, verksamma i Norr och Söder. Resultat: De främst tillämpade undersökningsmetoderna var apprehension test (89 %) och test av translation (87 %).

The standard housing of farmed mink provides little opportunities for them to behave naturally and abnormal behaviours such as stereotypic behaviour and tail biting may occur. To prevent abnormal behaviours animals in captivity are often provided with different kinds of enrichments. The aim of this study was to investigate what kind of enrichment farmed mink use when they have several kinds to choose from and to observe if abnormal behaviours can be decreased with a larger cage and a more multifaceted environment. Totally 20 silver blue, 10 months old female mink were kept in traditional cages (80x30x40 cm) for 7 days and in larger cages (195x80x40 cm) with several types of enrichments for 7 days. The enrichments were wire net- and wooden shelves, wire net- and plastic cylinders, water bath, plastic ropes, branches, straw and tennis balls. One-zero scan sampling on behaviour and choice of place were performed during 3 hours and 20 minutes prior to feeding during 7 days per treatment in April 2004.

A pavement construction designed to cope with the different type of traffic loads; it is exposed to and at the same time it can resist the effect of the climate. A road structure consists of sub- and superstructure which is divided by a boundary known as terrace. During the construction of unbound layers (base course and sub-base course) in the superstructure, it is always ensured that the material meet the requirements for bearing capacity and the degree of compaction. These parameters are controlled by various laboratory tests and control methods. To obtain increased knowledge of the material and improve the quality of the compaction in the field, it is necessary to perform laboratory tests in order to determine material properties.A base course material 0/ 32 mm limestone from Gotland (Hejdeby) was investigated in this study.

And how do the pupils relate to gender conceptions in connection to dance illustrations?MethodEight pupils 12 ? 14 years of age have been interviewed separately during physical education lessons. During parts of the interviews dance illustrations were used in order to encourage the pupils in their discussions, especially when asked to relate to dance and gender conceptions. The statements have been interpreted from a gender theoretical perspective.ResultsMy interview study shows that male pupils to a larger extent than female pupils inhabit hostile feelings towards dance as part of physical education lessons.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka resultat vid och korrelationen mellan fem-minuters pyramidtest (5MPT) och maximalt syreupptagningstest (VO2max) på löpband på yngre friska individer. Vi ville även studera om det förelåg någon skillnad, inlärningseffekt, för de två testmetoderna vid en upprepad testomgång.Metod. I studien deltog 32 personer, 18 män och 14 kvinnor, i åldrarna 15?28 år.

Religiositet och andlighet tycks ha samband med fysisk och psykisk hälsa. I uppsatsen undersöks sambandet mellan andlighet och utbrändhet, två grupper behandlare jämförs och mätegenskaper hos skalorna Spirituality, Religiousness and Personal Beliefs Field-Test Instrument (WHOQOL-SRPB), Spiritual Involvement and Beliefs Scale (SIBS), Maslach Burnout Inventory ? Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS) och Utbrändhet i arbetet (UA) undersöks. Studiedeltagarna var 38 programledare för kriminalvårdens tolvstegsprogram och 39 behandlare i ett psykoterapinätverk inom beroendevården (svarsfrekvens 61,5%). Andlighet korrelerade med personlig prestation (personal accomplishment; r = 0,315, p < 0,05).
