Background: As a result of the financial markets ever ongoing product innovation a new derivative was introduced in the USA in 1997. A derivative that derived it's value, not from the price of an underlying asset, but instead from a climate factor. It's been known for a long time that revenue in certain industries are affected by weather conditions. The suppliers of weather derivatives claim that these weather sensitive businesses can user weather derivatives in order to lessen weather risk. Purpose: To do a critical evaluation of how weather derivatives can be used by companies as a risk management tool.

Traditionellt är medarbetarsamtalet till sin form ett organiserat och planerat samtal mellan chef och medarbetare, oftast i syfte att kartlägga behov, krav, verksamhetsmål och förståelse hos medarbetaren. Sedan 1980-talet har det forskats mycket om medarbetarsamtal i Sverige, oftast med utgångspunkt i medarbetarens upplevelse. Vi menar därmed att det saknas ett perspektiv, nämligen det på chefen och dennes utveckling av sitt ledarskap. Vi har därför valt att analysera medarbetarsamtalet som en förutsättning för ledarskapsutveckling. Eftersom det inte finns mycket forskning om denna omvända syn på medarbetarsamtalet, har vi valt att med ett explorativt förhållningssätt genomföra en kvalitativ intervjustudie med fem chefer som i sitt arbete utför medarbetarsamtal.

The essay explores nationalism in the curriculum of the swedish school from 1878 to 1994. The text has been undertaken an analysis in three levels of discourse based on Norman Faircloughs critical language analysis. Should issue frames be left out in favor of other types of frames, it could result in voters struggling to make informed decisions come Election Day. What is more, research shows that game frames may cause lack of confidence in politicians and declining political interest. Against this background, the present study aimed to find out how two broadsheets, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet, and two tabloids, Aftonbladet and Expressen, framed politics in connection with the 2014 Swedish parliamentary elections. The thesis also intended to identify possible differences between the two newspaper types and to make tentative comparisons with previous studies so as to be able to comment on framing developments.
