During natural conditions cattle live in large herds, which are divided into subgroups of 10-15 animals. Humans have held cattle for over 9000 years. Today we mostly have cows for milk and meat production during more or less intensive forms. Most of the Swedish cattle have the opportunity to graze during the summer time. This partly arises from the Swedish Animal Protection law which stipulates that cattle must have the Option to be outside and graze, also partly because it makes it easier for the farmer.

Syfte: Hantering av valutarisker i ett exporterande företag kan vara avgörande för att nå framgång. Syftet är att undersöka hur valutariskexponering uppstår samt att se hur valutarisk hanteras i två exporterande företag. Uppsatsen behandlar ett stort multinationellt företag och ett mindre företag. Studien jämför olika förhållningssätt i de två företagen samt hur extern respektive intern hantering av riskerna kan skilja sig.Metod: I studien har en kvalitativ ansats tillämpats genom intervjuer med representativa befattningshavare i de båda företagen. Intervjuerna utgår från ett hermeneutiskt synsätt som sedan också till stor del är genomgående i uppsatsen.

Uppsatsen syftar även till att övergripande beskriva och analysera gällande skatteregler/-praxis avseende finansiella instrument. Avslutningsvis kommer även uppsatsen att kortfatttat beskriva och analysera kommande regler i IAS 39.Metod: Framställningen utgår från en bred litteraturstudie av ämnesrelevanta källor. Analysen baseras främst på denna litteratur.Slutsatser: Gällande svenska redovisnings- och skatteregler för finansiella instrument är komplicerade då det saknas klara och enhetliga linjer i lagar, rekommendationer och doktrin. Svenska normgivare verkar för att utvecklingen inom redovisningen i Sverige skall ske i harmoni med IASB:s rekommendationer.

Earlier attempts at mechanising pre-commercial thinning have been met with varying degrees of success. Most attempts have been based on techniques where residual stems are straddled. Early treatment is essential to limit damage on residual trees. One part of the present study is an evaluation of mechanised pre-commercial thinning using the new Vimek 404R. Vimek 404R is a fairly small machine that permits selective removal of stems, making it potentially suitable also for areas overdue for pre-commercial thinning. The study established the level of performance for the machine, as well as the improvement needed to make it an economically viable Option.
