Den här uppsatsen har till syfte att undersöka den dagliga medieanvändning som finns hos första generationens invandrarungdomar från Kurdistan, samt ta reda på om de som elever i skolan har varit med om att lärare tagit upp nyheter rörande deras hemländer i den allmänna undervisningen. Om vi ser det hela med elevernas ögon tror vi att de kommer att uppleva att undervisningen blir mer relevant för dem om också nyheter från deras hemländer diskuteras i klassrummet. Extra fokus har lagts på om medier från hemländerna ingår i medieanvändningen. Studien bygger på en explorativ fallstudie med semistrukturerade intervjuer tillsammans med tre manliga och tre kvinnliga elever med kurdisk bakgrund i åldrarna 16-18 år på Tingvallagymnasiet i Karlstad.Det är relevant att undersöka medievanorna hos unga invandrare i Sverige eftersom det inte finns speciellt många studier gjorda som har fokuserat på just den här frågan. Som blivande medielärare anser vi också att det är viktigt att ha kännedom om invandrares medievanor eftersom vi då bättre kan planera våra lektioner med en mer multikulturell inriktning.</p><p> </p><p>Resultaten visar att ungdomarna har ett intresse av att hålla sig uppdaterade dels om händelser i Sverige, men även i deras hemländer och i övriga världen.

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera tidningen GQ:s omslag mellan åren 1958-2013 för att ta reda på om patriarkala strukturer går att urskilja i omslagens text- och bildspråk. Jag vill specifikt undersöka hur män och kvinnor framställs på omslagen och hur detta kan ha förändrats mellan åren 1958-2013.Teori: Eriksson och Göthlunds Möten med bilder (2004) har legat som grund för att förstå hur jag skulle analysera mitt bildmaterial och Kuhn (1985), Mulvey (1999) och Tasker (2011) har bidragit med viktiga begrepp att använda som analysverktyg. Van Zoonens (2004) redogörelse för feminism har också varit en väsentlig del. Kompletterande relevant litteratur tas också upp i arbetet. Vidare har även Anja Hirdmans tidigare forskning i området med boken Den ensamma fallosen (2008) och doktorsavhandlingen Tilltalande bilder: genus, sexualitet och publiksyn i Veckorevyn och FIB aktuellt (2001) varit viktigt för att förstå mitt analysmaterial.Metod: Samtliga 599 omslag från GQ:s arkiv mellan våren 1958-2013 har studerats innan jag valde ut 28 av dem att analysera semiotiskt.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på Kvaerner Pulping i Karlstad. Kvaerner Pulping är ett globalt företag, ledande inom tillverkning av maskiner och anläggningar till pappers- och massaindustrin. I samband med företagets anläggningar i Karlstad finns det ett reservdelslager som används dels för förebyggande underhåll men också vid akutsituationer världen över. Målet med examensarbetet är att ge företaget ett mer ekonomiskt och serviceinriktat reservdelslager med hjälp av en bättre lagerstyrning. För att skapa en bättre lagerstyrning beslöts att arbetet skulle följa en trestegsprocess: • Utvärdering av samtliga artiklar för att se vilka som är relevanta för lagerhållning samt utveckla en modell för hur detta kan uppdateras kontinuerligt eller i tidsintervall.

AbstractCompanies in the Swedish process industry has for a long time spent a lot of capital in high-tech development, which have given them increased ability to compete with high quality and excellent technical knowledge, which has given them greater opportunities to grow on the market. But it?s not enough to achieve success with new products and service; it must also be consistent what market wants and preferably something exceptional. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that are predominantly success factors and how they may affect the sales target of a new product, in this case Frövi White. Another objective of the study was to examine how Korsnäs Frövi communicates and transforms information as requests and demands from customers into refined material. To obtain relevant information to the study several interviews with respondents from most of the value chain in Korsnäs Frövi has been carry out.
