The purpose with this essay was to study the judgements made by child- and adolescents psychiatry teams on a fictitious case, in order to see what similarities and differences there would be in their way of discussing, judging and proposing efforts.We carried out this study by visiting four child- and adolescents psychiatry teams and letting them make judgements on a fictitious case constructed by us. First the teams were introduced to a vignette and then asked to complete it by requiring more information till they considered themselves to have enough information to be able to arrive to a judgement on the case and propose efforts, on which we later interviewed the teams. After the interviews we compared what extra information the teams required, what judgements they made and what efforts they chose to offer the family. The result was analysed from a social constructivist perspective. One central analysis concept was diagnostic frame, which is about in what category the team places the problem.The study revealed that the judgements, which are socially constructed within the teams, differed, and that the teams offered the fictitious family different efforts.

Dagens samhälle kräver att varje enskild individ måste ta beslut över alla de val som vi ställs inför. När det gäller val som antingen gynnar eller missgynnar vår hälsa är möjligheterna idag oändliga. På grund av detta finns det många som ökar i vikt och därmed kan behöva hjälp med att göra en livsstilsförändring. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som kan ha påverkat och motiverat i valet av att göra en gastric bypass operation, samt att urskilja vilka förändringar som följer efter den typen av livsstilsförändring. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes där fyra informanter deltog och studiens data analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

During the winter 2011 Isaksson and Andersson did a time budget study on Nordens Ark?s Przewalskis horses during daytime when there were visitors and caretakers in the park. This time budget study was made during daytime and when there were no visitors or caretakers in the park. The horses where observed in the morning (5.30-6.30 am) and in the evening (5.45-6.45 pm) during four days. In addition to a time budget, the horses? positions in the enclosure were registered.

Bakgrund: Här presenteras rökningens påverkan samt allmän kännedom om tobak, vilka risker som förekommer inför operation samt operationssår. Hur patienten bör sköta om sitt operationssår för att hindra uppkomst av infektioner. Sårläkningsprocessen beskrivs och är en betydande punkt för patientens hälsotillstånd. Sjuksköterskans roll redogörs samt problemformulering om hur litteraturstudien valda ämne. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva tobaksrökningens påverkan på sårläkning av operationssår.

AimThe overall aim of this study has been to gain knowledge about what characterize upper secondary school students participating in the subject course physical education and health (PEH). To investigate this, the following questions are formulated:What motivates the students to attend PEH?How do the students experience teaching?What influences the students' opinions of the subject?MethodWe conducted a qualitative study using interview as method. Six students, from year 2; three girls and three boys, from different studying programs at an upper secondary school in the region of Mälardalen were interviewed. The students had been recommended and asked to participate by their teachers in PEH.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka om patienter upplever att de fått tillräckligt med information inför sövning vid operation. Information är en viktig del i omvårdnaden, för att skapa en trygghet hos patienten. Många patienter upplever oro inför sövningen, vilket kan minska om patienterna är välinformerade. Studien bedrevs med en kvantitativ ansats som en enkätstudie på sju avdelningar på Karolinska sjukhuset, Huddinge. Frågeformuläret konstruerades av författarna inför studien och testades i en pilotstudie.

The Energy Market Inspectorate is implementing a new tariff regulation in Sweden. A small part of the new regulation concerns effectible operation costs and originally they where intended to be calculated using a modification of equivalent comparison standards, in Swedish Ekm. This thesis is intended to analyze if Fortums grid in Stockholm could be described correctly, using equivalent comparison standards. In Ekm every part of the distribution grid is designated a weighting in relation to 1 km 0.4kV over head line. These Ekm-measurements are intended to simplify comparison between different grid areas with different structure and geographical conditions.

Drawing on theories of ethnic representations in mainstream news media and racial discrimination (van Dijk 2000, Hultén 2006, Husband & Downing 2005, Wodak 2011), and using methods of critical discourse analysis (mainly van Dijk 1993, 1991, Fairclough 1995) this bachelor thesis aims to investigate the inter-textual and inter-discursive relationship between selected editorial and opinion pieces written by three mainstream right wing ?symbolic elites? and the xenophobic blog ?Avpixlat?. The three selected symbolic elites are: Per Gudmundsson, editorial writer at the second largest Swedish newspaper SvD, Andreas Johansson Heinö, academic with a P.H.D. in political science, specialized on issues of integration and ethnic relations, and Paulina Neuding, editorial writer at SvD and editor in chief for right-wing oriented magazine Neo. All three are actively taking part in the mediated discussion of ethnic relations in Sweden from a liberal-conservative perspective.

Syfte och frågeställningarEn utvärdering efter OS i Sydney 2000 visade att coacherna inte klarade pressen. Därför ville SOK genom sitt stöd utveckla coacherna för att de aktiva i slutänden skulle kunna prestera bättre. Svenska Friidrottsförbundet (SFIF) och Sveriges Olympiska Kommitté (SOK), finansierade ett projekt, Coachprojektet, med syfte att svenska friidrottare skulle ta medaljer vid OS i Aten 2004. Denna studie avser att utvärdera upplevelsen hos de coacher som ingick i Coachprojektet. Frågeställningar som kommer att söka besvaras är: Uppfylldes Coachprojektets mål? Har Coachprojektet påverkat coachförmågan? Behöver coacher utbildning liknande den i Coachprojektet för att bli bättre coacher? Vad gav projektet för effekter/konsekvenser?MetodStudien är kvalitativ till sin karaktär i intervjudelen och kvantitativ i enkätdelen.

Att sövas inför en operation innebär att lämna över kontrollen av sina livsfunktioner och är en situation många patienter känner oro inför. För att kunna utveckla anestesisjuksköterskans preoperativa omhändertagande är kunskap om patienters upplevelser av omhändertagandet nödvändigt. Dessa upplevelser kommer att studeras med utgångspunkt i en teoretisk begreppsmodell om personcentrerad vård.Syfte: Att beskriva patienters upplevelse av det preoperativa omhändertagandet inför anestesi.Metod: Kvalitativa semi-strukturerade intervjuer kommer att genomföras med ett tiotal personer som i slutenvården genomgått en operation i generell anestesi. Intervjuerna kommer att analyseras med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. För att testa metod och forskningsplan genomfördes en pilotstudie där två forskningspersoner som nyligen genomgått en operation i generell anestesi intervjuades.

Det finns forskning som visar upplevelsen av att v?nta p? en elektiv operation, dock saknas det forskning om hur patienterna upplever v?ntan p? en akut bukoperation. To make wave power more competitive on the market Uppsala University leads projects that examine how to accomplish better efficiency in the production. One of these projects is described in this report and examines whether it is possible to make the production of dovetails more efficient by using an industry robot of type ABB IRB6000 S3 M91. This project is using an already presented working method, from a previous project, which involves that the robot picks up the dovetail and moves against fixed cutting machines where the dovetail will be drilled, threaded and milled. Drilling and threading are the sub operations that will be examined in this project where experiments are made with the presented working method and with equipment from Uppsala University.Experiments show whether it is possible to drill the holes in the dovetail within specifications by using the specific robot and the presented working method. The threading operation is examined theoretically if it is possible to accomplish by using the same working method.

Denna rapport beskriver arbetet med utvecklingen av en ny modell för kaplanturbiner. Utvecklingen bygger på två kopplade differentialekvationer som under arbetets gång anpassats och implementerats i turbinmodellen.Modellen beskriver hur vattenflöde och turbinmoment påverkas av avvikelsen från den optimala kombineringskurvan för vinklarna på turbinens ledskena och löphjul, och är anpassad för ett referensaggregat med tillgängliga provdata. Även övriga enheter i vattenkraftaggregatet modelleras och sätts samman med frekvensregulator och elnät för att simulera aggregatets reglerstabilitet i önätsdrift.Verifieringen av turbinmodellen sker genom försök att återskapa de befintliga verkningsgradskurvorna med hjälp av modellen. Resultatet visar en god följning av de verkliga kurvformerna, dock med något lägre maximal verkningsgrad.Verifieringen av önätmodellen sker genom att prova stabiliteten i nätfrekvens och turbineffekt vid stegpålastningar. Resultatet ger en stabilare reglerstabilitet än i verkligheten, men uppfyller ändå förväntningarna på en fungerande modell.This report describes the development of a new kaplan turbine model.

Jämtkraft AB has recently modernized its hydropower station at Hissmofors by replacing four older worn out units with two new units. The generators uses a concept with sliding stator feet to deal with the thermal movements that occur in the stator during operation when the unit is operating intermittently. At other sites, this method revealed shortcomings in the reliability. This has made Jämtkraft AB feel uncertainty about its function and therefore want to investigate it during an early stage. The generators have a built-in monitoring system for the sliding stator feet and by using data from there the function of the sliding stator feet has been investigated. The study focused on how the different stator feet move relative to each other and how the eccentricity and deviation from roundness changed during operation. The results show that there are several indications that the function of the sliding stator feet is not satisfactory.

During and after World War II Sweden was spying in the occupied Baltic countries which had been occupied, from 1943 by Nazi Germany and from 1944 by the Soviet Union. It began in 1943, with the Germans still occupying the Baltic countries, when Sweden and its intelligence service ?C-byrån? recruited volunteers among the Baltic refugees in Sweden and sent them back to the countries they had fled from. Many of the Baltic refugees to Sweden were men aged 25-45 so the Swedish intelligence service had a good recruiting source. This started the first period of intelligence operations in the three Baltic countries.
