Oro är en av faktorerna att ta hänsyn till när människor ska genomgå en operation. Oro kan orsaka stort lidande och även ha betydelse för resultatet med operationen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva vilka omvårdnadsåtgärder som kunde minska oro hos patienter som ska genomgå kirurgi. I studien ingick 15 stycken artiklar som belyste omvårdnadsåtgärder för att minska patientens oro. Analysen gjordes med en manifest innehållsanalys.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate if there are environments that use some kind of central authentication system within institutions/schools. The hypothesis is that an institution not using a form of central authentication service has more need for maintenance and as such is considered a higher cost for the organization. Examensarbetet utfördes på Priority Aero Maintenance som är belägna vid Arlanda flygplats, Stockholm. Priority Aero Maintenance är i enlighet med EASA Part 145 en godkänd underhållsorganisation och utför all sorts underhåll på ett flertal olika flygplanstyper.Underhållsarbete är ett mycket noggrant arbete som följer, av underhållsorganisationen själva, bestämda procedurer och rutiner. Hur arbetet utförs ska vara godkänt av myndigheten och finns beskrivet i underhållsorganisationens MOE, Maintenance Organisation Exposition, även kallad verkstadshandbok.Vid underhållsarbete finns det framtagna underhållskort eller jobbkort. Där varje jobbkort specificerar en särskild underhållsåtgärd. Då en underhållsorganisation åtar sig ett större underhållsarbete innebär detta således en hantering av hundratals jobbkort.Då Priority Aero Maintenance inte har en fast struktur för hur hanteringen av jobbkort ser ut, med avseende på sortering inför en underhållscheck.

The subject of this master thesis is co-operation between archives, libraries and museums. The purpose is twofold: 1 To map out activities within the area to get an overall picture. The mapping is done by studies of documents and consists of international outlooks and an overview of national and regional projects and reports; 2 To investigate how leaders of the respective institutions within the various regions of Sweden apprehend co-operation between the three sectors. The empirical study is accomplished by inquiries and is mainly qualitative. An intermediate purpose of this essay is to try using grounded theory to treat and analyse the gathered material.

This thesis work is executed at Business Unit Ericsson Test Environment (BETE), in Linköping. BETE is the department at Ericsson, which is responsible for the Operation and maintenance of the company's Operations Support System (OSS). Their management system was outdated and they wanted it to be updated and it also required new features. The database needed to be replaced and the data migrated to a new database without licensing costs. The system also needed a part where employees could manage existing users.As a programming language PHP was chosen for its dynamic possibilities, platform independence and good support for database intergration.

The purpose of the rebuild of Notnäs AB timber sorting line is to renew the existing drive and turning ends of the transport chain, which has become old. This means that Notnäs AB have problems to get new parts if the gearbox and chain are worn out. They also require that the rebuild should have a maintenance schedule for the new spare parts that will be used in the rebuild. Maintenance workers placed great emphasis on that in a rebuild it shall be a service-friendly design. The maintenance schedule used in Notnäs AB in the current situation is from Statoil and the report uses SKF formulas and recommendations in order to obtain a lubricating schedule.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the social services and the police co-operate with each other when they come into contact with an individual within their realms of influence. It has been shown in a report by Fridolf (2008) that co-operation is not the aim itself but used as a mean to reach for better processes and better results. We have used qualitative interviews in the study, where three social workers and three policemen have participated from the same municipality to answer our questions. To analyze our result we have used system theory and organization theory. The result of our study shows that within this specific municipality the two agencies co-operate very well.

Att sätta sig in i system kan vara krångligt utan rätt sorts dokumentation. Vi har undersökt vilken dokumentation som kan vara lämplig att lämna över till nya utvecklare, som ska arbeta vidare med systemet i software maintenance fasen.Det har gjorts genom att vi har gjort en litteraturstudie om dokumentation samt undersökt vad för dokumentationsartefakter som används när man ska sätta sig in i datorsystem. Vi använde eXtreme Programming för att utveckla ett system som vi försökte dokumentera samtidigt som vi utvecklade det.eXtreme Programming förordar muntlig kommunikation, vilket är svårt att lämna över till nya utvecklare. Vi upptäckte under vår utveckling att det var svårt att föra in dokumentation sam-tidigt som utvecklandet pågick,  därför använde vi bara enhetstester och  strukturerade kod-kommentarer under utvecklingsiterationerna.Vi undersökte hur dokumentationen som skapats fungerade genom att göra en undersökning bestående av strukturerade intervjuer där de fick komma med kommentarer om hur dokumen-tationen hjälpte förståelsen för systemet.Vi lämnar ifrån oss en vidareutveckling  av eXtreme Programming  som innefattar en doku-mentationsiteration  innan överlämnandet  samt en studie om vad för dokumentation som är värdefull att ha vid systemöverlämningar..

AbstractThe Swedish Road Administration in the region of Mälardalen has since 2004 worked to in¬crease the efficiency of the maintance of bridges based on limited functional requirements and time demanded action.The maintenance of the bridges is contracted in the county of Uppsala since 2004, and Örebro since 2007. The county of Nyköping and Västerås is contracted by the traditional system. The contractor will perform a regular maintenance on all bridges. The bridges are inspected by the contractor at least once every year.The contractor registers the result of the inspection in a database called BaTMan. BaTMan is a Bridge and Tunnel Management system and is a strictly web solution were the user logs in via the internet.The Swedish Road Administration also inspects the bridges to se that the demands on the bridges are followed.My work is to compare these different inspections and to see any development..

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to deepen my knowledge in how teachers can teach pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and also find out how a co-operation with remedial teachers can look like.The study is based on qualitative interviews with two teachers and two remedialteachers.The study shows that the two teachers´ co-operation with the remedial teacher appeared to bedifferent. The teacher who had the longest work experience was the one of the two that had a co-operation with the remedial teacher, the other teacher who graduated in 2007 did not have any co operation at all with the remedial teacher.The study also showed that the teachers and the remedial teachers in the study had different opinions about what method to use for pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and that the LTG method was the one most frequently used .All the participants in the study agreed that reading and writing disabilities is a large area, andthat there is a large variety in difficulties among the students . Some of the difficulties the participants had experienced were problems with decoding, pupils that had problems with learning the letters..

The aim of this study is to illustrate, and analyze how social workers are able to more effectively pursue operative possibilities within their own particular organizations. The main question concerning this issue is: How are social workers, working within the same district organization able to realise any potential for co-operation with other social workers, in different locales and units, yet working within the same organization? Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på om Försvarsmakten har förmåga att genomföra övergång av större vattendrag med tyngre materiel. Detta gör jag genom att göra en fallstudie på Operation Gazelle för att förklara hur israelerna nyttjade sin förmåga till övergång av vattendrag för att få ett högt tempo i sin strid. Jag undersöker också den materiel vilken utbildning och vilka förband Försvarsmakten har för att bygga färjor och flytande broar.  Inledningsvis förklarar jag viktiga begrepp såsom tempo, rörlighet, OODA-loopen/beslutscykeln och vattendrag. Jag använder mig av dessa begrepp senare i uppsatsen där jag kopplar detta till hur Israel använde sig av fältarbetsresurser för rörlighet för att få ett högt tempo i sin strid.Slutsatserna är att Israel till stor del lyckades med Operation Gazelle tack vare att de hade förmågan att genomföra en vattenövergång över Suezkanalen. Försvarsmakten har i dag en förmåga att genomföra övergångar av större vattendrag.

In recent years, the Swedish railway track system has been neglected in terms of capacity and maintenance. To adapt the existing system to current traffic load there is a great need for extensive improvement and maintenance. Shortcomings are especially occurring on older embankments running over soft subgrades. To select the most suitable method for reinforcement of the embankment, it is important to evaluate different solutions from a life cycle cost perspective. In long-term perspective, it is often shown that a method with low investment cost causes a higher maintenance cost and a shorter technical lifetime.
