In today's Sweden there are approximately 23 000 combination companies, and most of them have a connection with the agricultural sector. The most common type of additional operation is some form of contracting.The aim for this degree project is to answer the following question: which problems and key factors exists within combination operations? The main topic will be within coordination and management questions within agricultural companies with an additional operation.Litterateur written earlier within this subject will be used in this thesis. Mainly litterateur which contains information about combination companies and diversification of some sort. There are also other theories used in this thesis such as; resource based theory and decision making theory in order to understand the problems and key factors within combination companies.In order to investigate the aim of this thesis we have chosen to perform two qualitative interviews with the managers of two different combination companies.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka sjuksköterskors upplevelse av omvårdnaden av patienten vid förändrade inskrivningsrutiner inför en operation på kirurgavdelningen på Enköpings lasarett. Metod: Kvalitativ design med deskriptiv ansats. Åtta sjuksköterskor med erfarenhet av att arbeta innan och efter de nya inskrivningsrutinerna trädde i kraft intervjuades. En intervjuguide av semistrukturerad typ togs fram med en bred huvudfråga och olika teman för att besvara syftet. En innehållsanalys på manifest nivå med en induktiv ansats gjordes.

Patients who undergo surgery receive general anaesthesia or any form of conduction anaesthesia during the operation. For most people it is strange, unexpected and for many something completely new to be a patient and undergo surgery. Awake conduction anaesthetic patients? experiences from the intraoperative period were little studied. The purpose of this study was to examine awake conduction anaesthesia patients? experiences.

The aim of the study was to examine how child investigators in the police force interpret and apply the notification of preliminary investigation (FuK) and the po-lice act in their child investigative interviews with alleged victims of sexual abuse. Questions at issue were how child investigators relate to FuK 17-19 §§, re-garding child investigative interviews and to FuK 16 § and the police act 3 §, re-garding their co-operation with social services. The theory and method used in this study was Sociology of Law. Qualitative interviews were conducted with eight child investigators, one from each police district in Stockholm. The results of the study conclude that despite special qualifications, child investigators may find themselves in difficulty in receiving or interpreting information from chil-dren, therefore they may need to consult a person with expert knowledge.

Prostatacancer är en allvarlig sjukdom som både påverkar mannen, partnern och familjen. Den vanligaste kurativa behandlingsmetoden är radikal prostatektomi operation (RRP), som har ökat sedan början av 1990-talet. Risken för att dö i prostatacancer och/eller att utveckla metastaser minskar för de som genomgått operation. Syftet med studien var att beskriva upplevelser av vardagen hos män med prostatacancer efter att ha genomgått en RRP operation. Studien genomfördes med ett ändamålsenligt urval av sex män.

Many of us have grown up hearing or using words meant as insults or negative adjectives that were in fact names for social groups. Most of them have gone unquestioned in the mainstream consciousness, but the term Gay in the generally negative meaning has in the past years been given attention as offensive and homophobic, with debates emerging in response over whether or not this is true, particularly on the internet. It is the articles and forum threads from these debates that make out the empirical material for a qualitative study as I ask what these people?s thoughts are about this term and how it is perceived.After a qualitative coding and analysis of these texts, and interpretation of the results based on Erving Goffman?s theory of Phantom acceptance and stigma terms, Judith Butler?s theory of performativity, Ferdinand de Sassure?s theory of signifier and signified and how it connects to the community and Baudrillards theory of simulacra, this is the principal conclusion that I have drawn:For some of the people in this debate, the term Gay and its use is about homophobia and heterosexism, though mostly it?s not overt but a subconscious part of the continued dehumanization and stigmatization of homo- and bisexual people. This is a position I callThe socially focused skepticism.

When are aerial bombing strategies effective in coercing target states? According to the recent research debate there is a consensus that denial strategies may be an effective instrument for coercing states to change their politics. This study is based on Belkin?s theory which argues that the effectiveness of denial strategies may depend in part on the domestic legitimacy of the target states? regimes. From a political standpoint, aerial denial effectiveness can be considered more likely to coerce when political leaders of target states lack domestic legitimacy rather than when they are legitimate.   The purpose of this study is to contribute an explanation of a condition where denial strategies are more likely to succeed.

This is a study of Sensus Barnmusikskola ? Children?s School of Music, in Karlstad, Sweden?s attempts to facilitate integration and diversity in their operation. The Culture and Recreation Management in Karlstad town?s conditions to award the school their grant in 2009 was that Sensus Children?s school of Music should make targeted interventions in the socioeconomic exposed areas Gruvlyckan/Våxnäs and Kronoparken to increase the number of children with foreign background. Background: The starting point of the thesis is the growing importance of negotiations that serve to establish a relationship between the parties involved as companies? business activities are getting more complex. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to find and to analyze which elements are of importance for parties, when creating a successful negotiation with regard to building long-term relationships, and if those elements differ for sales and procurement negotiations in companies with business activities of various kinds. Research method: The study was realized with the help of twelve qualitative interviews. Result: The elements of importance when creating a successful negotiation with regard to building long-term relationships were mainly elements of co-operation and to some extent elements of competition.

Genom rökavvärjningsprogram erbjuds personer hjälp att sluta röka. Vad det är som får den enskilda individen att motivera sitt val av rökvanor leder fram till arbetets syfte.SyfteSyftet är att öka förståelsen för hur personer tänker kring valet av rökstopp och behovet av stöd från sjukvården.MetodEn kvalitativ litteraturstudie som presenterar 18 kvalitativa studier, vilka har analyserats med en enklare syntetisering.ResultatUtifrån de inkluderade artiklarnas centrala teman bildades tre nya teman. De nya temana delades in utifrån vilka faktorer som hindrade (Hinder för rökstopp) respektive motiverade (Motiverande faktorer till rökstopp) personerna till att sluta röka samt vad dessa personer önskade av sjukvården (Vad som önskas av sjukvården). Tankarna kring valet av rökstopp och behovet av stöd från sjukvården är individuellt.

An investigation of the heat impact of laser cutting on the material properties when producing tensile and impact test specimens of different steel types of varying thickness has been performed. The purpose of the thesis project was to provide recommendations regarding how much material that needs to be milled from the laser cut edge before tensile and impact tests. The study has been performed partly by investigating the test specimens by heat camera when the specimens were cut in the laser cutting line and partly by performing hardness tests, investigation by microscopy, and tolerance and roughness measurements and tensile tests of the laser cut material and material produced in the traditional multi operation machine. The results show that the heat affected zone in the thicker materials is greater than previously thought of, and that the currently used recommendation has to be adjusted. The study clearly shows that the thicker the material, the greater the heat affected zone, independently of the steel type, since the thicker material takes longer time to cut.

The purpose of this essay is to discuss relationality in G.W Leibnizs Monadologie (1714). In general terms this essay analyzes the notion of individuation in relation to the concept of monads. The analysis proposes a question regarding the body in this individuation, and what consequences follows for the understanding of the relation between the single individual and other individuals. It will be shown that the irreducibility of having a body transcendens something like ownness, subjectivity, personality and individuation, and this is explained through the pre-established harmony between the monads ? where the plurality of monads is detected before the monads singularity. To widen this investigation of relationality between the monads, I will turn to Edmund Husserls phenomenological operation for solving the egological problem of solipsism in Cartesian Meditations (1929). In his meditations, Husserl uses the monad as a self-conscious ego with peculiar ownness.

Husaberg Scandinavia AB is a company producing and developing a range of motorcycles for both on- and off-road use. Husaberg provided the project group with a task of developing an entirely new way of operating the sequential transmission that can be found in today?s motorcycles. The target was to bring the product from idea to a functional prototype ready for further tests. Operation of the motorcycles transmission is today made by a foot pedal placed on the left hand side of the bike.

SyfteSyftet med denna studie var att ta reda på ifall patienter med en total proximal hamstringsruptur erhöll rätt diagnos när de sökte sjukvård. Syftet var även att se hur vården fungerade från skadetillfället till operation. Frågeställningar;Vilka vårdgivare träffade patienterna?Hur många vårdgivare träffade patienterna innan de erhöll rätt diagnos?Hur lång tid efter skadan fick patienterna rätt diagnos?Hur lång tid tog det från skadans inträffande till operation?MetodEn enkät konstruerades och användes på 26 patienter, varav 14 kvinnor. För att inkluderas i studien skulle patienterna ha genomgått en operation av total hamstringstruptur i Stockholm samt genomgå rehabilitering på Feelgood kliniken, Grev Turegatan, Stockholm.

Syfte: Att studera föräldrars uppfattning om den preoperativa information de får inför sitt barns planerade operation, samt undersöka om och på vilket sätt föräldrarna anser att informationen behöver förbättras.Metod: Kvantitativ, deskreptiv enkätstudie. Enkäten innehöll främst standardiserade frågor men även några öppna frågor. Föräldrar till barn i åldrarna 0-3 år inneliggande på en barnkirurgisk vårdavdelning ombads delta i studien. Antalet insamlade enkäter var 22 stycken.Resultat: Föräldrarna var som helhet nöjda med den preoperativa informationen, majoriteten ansåg att mängden information varit lagom omfattande och att informationen från personalen oftast gavs på ett sätt så att de förstod. Några föräldrar ansåg att informationen gällande det postoperativa vårdförloppet delvis varit bristfällig.
