Syfte med vårt arbete var att undersöka hur polismyndigheterna utbildar i Nationell bastaktik och hur de arbetar med mental träning och mental förberedelse efter genomförd utbildning. För att komma fram till vårt resultat gjordes en en-kät som skickades ut till utbildningsansvarig på samtliga polismyndigheter. En av våra slutsatser är att efter genomförd utbildning känner många poliser att de har fått ett högre säkerhetstänkande och därmed känner de sig tryggare i sin polisroll..

This study in Public Administration uses feminism and historical institutionalism toanalyze a highly debated contemporary policy problem that concerns genderequality in the policy of parental leave. The parental insurance was introduced in1974 with the governmental goal of gender equality. In 1974 only 0,5 percent of thenumber of days of parental benefit was paid to men. Today, 40 years later, the goalremains the same and the numbers of days of parental benefit paid to men are 24,8percent.The debate that has characterized the Swedish policy of parental insurance andspecifically the design of the parental benefit is the debate of freedom of choiceversus quota.Our study focuses on ideas and arguments that influence the policy of parentalbenefit. The study assumes, with basis in the theories of feminism and historicalinstitutionalism, that a policy like parental benefit is slow-moving and that pathdependency has lead to a slow development of gender equality..

For nearly twenty years people have been talking about Product models, but given that the building industry is so conservative, it is hard to implement new working methods. Product models are these days known as Building Information Modeling, BIM. People often say they work with BIM but they often forget the most important part, the information. A 3D model should be linked with characteristics and information. Information that can be invaluable for the facility manager.We have a vision that in the best of worlds the facility manager would be able to "walk" into the model and see what kind of installations are inside the wall or in the roof.

My goal with this Project was to create four pictures which de¬scribed four different emotions. The purpose of the project was that the pictures would be placed in a psychology department and they could use them as a starting point for a discussion about the patients? emotions. My personal purpose was that I wanted to create pictures in scale 1:1 in an analogue fashion, and try to learn more about how people see and feel about pictures. What kind of thoughts can a picture give you? Can I create a picture which can be used as a platform for a discussion? Can I make a picture which describes an emotion? The making of the pictures started with developing ideas and then I took photographs of my friend Joel, in different situations and moods, which I used as reference for my paintings.

SAMMANFATTNINGSyftet med uppsatsen har varit att beskriva och analysera gällande rätt, vad avserförhållandet mellan den kommunala arbetstagarens rättigheter till yttrandefrihet kontraden lojalitetsplikt som denne genom anställningsavtalet har gentemot sin arbetsgivare.Eftersom det finns en hel del praxis inom området främst från Justitieombudsmannen(JO), eftersom det rör sig om kommunal verksamhet, använder jag mig i uppsatsen avflera uttalanden och beslut från denna instans.Yttrandefriheten är en av de mest grundläggande rättigheterna i ett demokratisktsamhälle och är i Sverige en grundlagsfäst rättighet. I uppsatsen beskriverjag även det betänkande som i april i år (2011) presenterats angående lex Sarah inomskolan.I uppsatsen konstaterar jag att rätten till yttrandefrihet går före den lojalitetsplikt som ioch med anställningsavtalets ingående uppstår.Jag konstaterar att lojalitetsplikten i kommunal verksamhet inte existerar när det gällernegativa eller kritiska yttranden gentemot arbetsgivaren.Lojalitetsplikten handlar för den kommunala arbetstagaren i själva verket enbart om hurman skall utföra sina arbetsuppgifter, inte vad arbetstagaren uttrycker om sinarbetsgivare..

CrCL-ruptur är en av de vanligaste ortopediska skadorna hos hundar. Efter en CrCL-operation är fortsatt rehabilitering en viktig förutsättning för hundens tillfrisknande, men då rehabiliteringen ofta sker på annan ort än den hunden opererades på är det svårt för den ansvariga sjukgymnasten att följa upp och utvärdera rehabiliteringens effekt. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hundägares upplevelser av den postoperativa rehabiliteringen efter att deras hundar genomgått en Tibial Tuberosity Advancement. En enkät med 32 frågor konstruerades i det webbaserade enkätprogrammet EvaSys, och skickades ut via mail eller brev till 36 hundägare vars hundar genomgått en TTA-operation på ett Djursjukhus i Sverige mellan åren 2012-2014. Totalt inkom 18 enkäter, vilket innebar en svarsfrekvens på 50%.

This thesis investigates if privatization of the Swedish healthcare system influences our view on the meaning of equality. This system is based on the principle that all people are equals and that healthcare should be provided on the basis of need. I apply critical ideology analysis to investigate how our view of equality might change because of the evolvement of society. A critical view may be explained as an interest in exploring things that seem obvious to many. Important questions to answer are why equality is regarded as such a natural concept in the society and how healthcare is actually provided.

This paper investigates the relations between the fantasy genre and the phenomena of escapism. It also delves into the factors which motivates consumption of various fantasy mediums. This is done through interviews with six different fantasy-consumers, along with two observations; of which one is performed at a science fiction convention and the other at a table-top role playing game. The study resulted in a basic understanding of escapism ? it is not limited to the fantasy genre, and fantasy consumers do not deny that fantasy is a form of escapism.

Fetma är allt vanligare idag, och de senaste åren har förekomsten av fetma ökat och bara i Sverige kan en halv miljon vuxna anses lida av fetma och 2.5 miljoner vara överviktiga. Gastric bypass är en kirurgisk behandling mot övervikt som har fyrdubblats inom en femårs period. En bättre livskvalitet har i olika kvantitativa studier kunnat påvisas efter viktminskning, men osäkert hur livskvaliteten ökar efter kirurgi då det ofta speglas negativt i media. I de kvantitativa studierna kan inga nyanser av upplevelser urskiljas. Syftet med denna undersökning var därför att beskriva den subjektiva upplevelsen hos personer som genomgått en gastric bypass.

The purpose of this paper is to understand why education is a human right. I will look at works by the late Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator. Paulo Freire worked for many years on developing a pedagogy to promote humanity. His goal was to demonstrate that a literate person will ultimately live a better life because she will be free from oppression and domination.I chose to study Paulo Freire as a tool in proving why education is a human right because throughout his work he demonstrated the need for people to be literate in order for them to be considered ?truly human?.

The purpose of this study is to highlight some aspects of the increased usage of tablets in preschool environments by answering the questions: what does the tablet become in the preschool environment, how much freedom does the children have over its usage.To answer these questions a series of observations were made at two different preschools. The observations were then complemented by interviews with teachers at the same preschools.This qualitative study focuses on some of the didactic questions regarding the tablets, based on a theoretical framework that is within the design-oriented perspective; which addresses the children's? autonomy, the institutional framework and affordance.Our conclusion is that the tablet?s introduction in the preschool has helped the teachers in numerous parts of their documentation, but we can also see that the children's opportunities to make choices regarding the tablet are more limited than with any other resource on the preschool. In our results we also see that when the children get access to the tablet they receive a learning experience, which among other things, strengthens their language skills and their social interaction with each other..

This thesis work is a 30hp D-level assignment in design as a co-operation between MälardalenUniversity and Scania CV AB in Södertälje. The purpose was to develope a close fitted catwalk.The market has seen an increasing value for these types of applications and have the ambition to keep up with the rest of the competitors. The catwalks of todays standards shall be estetical attractive, have a non slippery surface and be costefficient.While working with this project I have spent a lot of time with the concept proposals and with the evaluation of the concepts, resulting in a final CAD model and a approximation of the cost estimate. The new catwalk fulfils all the new recommendations and rules as sharp edges, ADR, the height of the stepup and a non slippery surface with built in drainage..

The purpose of the essay is to describe the necessity of internal communication within the organization and to identify its strengths and weaknesses.It?s of the utmost importance that the internal communication is under constant care. SAMMANFATTNING Bakgrund: Whiplashrelaterade besvär är vanligt förekommande efter en bilolycka. En behandling för dessa patienter är steloperation av övre nackkotpelaren. Dock finns lite forskning kring hur detta i allmänhet och i synnerhet ur ett beteendemedicinskt perspektiv kan påverka en patient. Syfte: Var att utvärdera om steloperation av övre nackkotpelaren hade effekt för två patienter med långvariga whiplashrelaterade besvär, avseende vissa beteendemedicinska aspekter innehållande psykologiska och kognitiva funktioner. Metod: Experimentell single?subject studie som innehåller baslinje-, interventions- och uppföljandemätningar (A1-B-A2 design).
