This is a qualitative case study of young womens? experiences of blogging about One Direction on the social media/microblogging platform Tumblr. The aim of this study was to find out what fan blogging is and why fans blog. We did this by creating an account on Tumblr where we invited young women between the ages of 16?29, who had active fan blogs dedicated to One Direction, to answer an open-ended questionnaire.

Bakgrund: Hälsoekonomi har sitt ursprung i att sjukvårdens resurser är begränsade ochsjukvårdsutgifterna ökar kontinuerligt. För att möta de ökade kostnaderna har sjukvårdenbörjat använda sig av hälsoekonomiska utvärderingar för arbeta mer kostnadseffektivt. Enstor kostnadspost för hälso- och sjukvården är rökares ökade komplikationsrisker i sambandmed operation. Att införa rökuppehåll inför operation minskar dessa risker och denna metodhar bedömts vara ett av de mest effektiva sätten att minska sjukvårdens kostnader. Fokus fördenna studie har därmed varit att utveckla en modell som visar de intäkter och kostnader somkan kopplas till rökuppehåll inför operation.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att anpassa en hälsoekonomisk modell så att den kananvändas för att beräkna de ekonomiska effekterna av ett rökuppehåll inför operation.

Abstrakt Perioperativ omvårdnad innebär att sjuksköterskor möter de patienter som skall genomgå kirurgisk behandling handling före operation, ansvarar för omvårdnaden under operation och avslutar omvårdnadsinsatsen med att möta patienterna efter avslutad operation. Syftet med detta arbete var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av patientsamtal i perioperativ omvårdnad. Elva vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier: att kontinuitet i omvårdnad ger professionell utveckling och arbetstillfredsställelse, att utveckla en vårdande relation som ger kunskap om patienten som person samt att vara osynlig i rutiner och teknik. Genom att använda samtal i den perioperativa omvårdnaden upplevde sjuksköterskorna att hon åstadkom kontinuitet, utvecklades professionellt och blev synlig för patienterna.

Change is a recurring element in society and for sports clubs. When there is a change in society, this change may have an impact and change the condition for sports clubs and its leaders. Changes can be degraded into trends. This study has been delimited to study four social trends that research shows may have an impact on sports club, which are; Increased commercialization, changing demographics, changing communication patterns and increased individualization. To help sports clubs in their development it is of value to find out how these changes are perceived.

Perioperativ vårdprocess är ett arbetssätt och forskning inom området visar att den har betydelse för patienters välbefinnande i samband med operation. Anestesisjuksköterskor har en nyckelroll i vårdmöten i samband med operation för att minska patienters vårdlidande. Syftet med studien är att genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie ta reda på hur fyra anestesisjuksköterskor på sjukhus resonerar om den perioperativa vårdprocessen. Data analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att informanterna resonerar om perioperativ vårdprocess utifrån tre kategorier; förutsättning att kunna prioritera användning, organisatoriska faktorer som påverkar möjlighet till användning negativt och yrkesansvar finns vilket har betydelse för korrekt bedömning av omvårdnadsbehov i samband med operation.

The essay, based on interviews with eight people, deals with name changes from a foreign-sounding name to Swedish-sounding name. The aim is to investigate the reasons behind the name change and whether experiences of ethnic discrimination were among these reasons. Furthermore, I explore the consequences of the name change, and whether the name change was an effective strategy to avoid ethnic discrimination. The study employs qualitative method; I carry out eight interviews with four women and four men, and analyze the empirical material by means of post-colonial theory in which categorizing, otherness and passing are significant terms. The results show that the name change takes place primarily to reduce a sense of otherness, and the discursively locked positions a foreign-sounding name creates.

Husaberg Scandinavia AB is a company producing and developing a range of motorcycles for both on- and off-road use. Husaberg provided the project group with a task of developing an entirely new way of operating the sequential transmission that can be found in today?s motorcycles. The target was to bring the product from idea to a functional prototype ready for further tests. Operation of the motorcycles transmission is today made by a foot pedal placed on the left hand side of the bike.

The subject singing in elementary school changed its name to music in 1955 and with the name change followed a change in the content of the topic. In my study, I examine the perspective of how song as a subjekt has changed in the basic school curriculum texts. As a complement to text analysis, I used interviews in which two music teachers with long service in primary school were interviewed. My survey shows that there has been a clear change of the contents of concept song from being a pure skill where the aim was the vocal line benefits in different contexts and is today a vocal expression that can be embodied in many different ways. Curriculum texts have not been crucial to the changing content of the concept song.

The energy use in a workshop company has been examined in this work in order to find areas for energy efficiency improvement. The combined oil and electricity heating in the company were compared with other alternative heating systems including cooling of the premises in following combinations:Ground source heat pump for heating and coolingDistrict heating and absorption coolingDistrict heating and low temperate surface water coolingEnergy use, operation costs and carbon dioxide emissions were calculated for the current heating systems and the three alternatives including cooling. The ground source heat pump for heating and cooling decreases bought energy with 34 MWh annually compared to current heating only. The district heating and low temperate surface water cooling has the largest reduction of operation cost and carbon dioxide. The operation cost decreases with 42 kSEK and the carbon dioxide with 43 metric ton CO2 annually.

AbstractManagement is a field that started getting attention in the beginning of the 20th century by Frederick Taylor. His publication is called the Principles of Scientific Management and is based on the principles of using scientific methods to find the best way of conducting each operation within a production facility. Many of Taylor?s principles may appear obsolete today but the matter of an effective material flow is still highly current. Efficiency is the relationship between the input into an operation and its result.

The strategy when you change the visual part of the brand identity is often referred to as Corporate rebranding and is seen as a good way to show that a company has undergone a change. Despite high risks and high costs, this strategy has become more common and there are companies today who make the choice to change an already well-known graphic profile. This phenomenon is what underlies this essay?s problem statement: Why does a company with an already well-known graphic profile choose to change it and how does the process behind the change occur? In what way have the company?s customers recognized the change and how has the company?s image changed in this context? The purpose of this essay is therefore to explore the process that occurs when a company in the sport and fashion industry changes its visual identity and to explore how the company?s customers have perceived the change.To fulfil the purpose of the essay a case study was carried out on a company?s Corporate rebranding process. The company that was chosen was the Swedish sports retail chain Stadium Sweden AB who decided to change its graphic profile even though their logo was one of the two most recognized in their field.

Vårdpersonal och allmänheten uttrycker ofta negativa attityder till patienter som är överviktiga. Antalet patienter som genomgår en operation för sin övervikt ökar för varje år. Det är en omvälvande operation för patienten och patienter söker mycket information innan operationen. Den perioperativa dialogen, en ideal arbetsmodell har tidigare prövats på andra patientgrupper men inte på patienter som skall genomgå en operation för sin övervikt.  Syfte med studien var att beskriva patienters upplevelse av sin övervikt och hur kontinuiteten i den perioperativa dialogen kan ge lindrat lidande i samband med operation för övervikt.Studien har en hermeneutisk design. Data samlades in med hjälp av den perioperativa dialogen som dokumenterats vid sjuksköterskans möte med 26 patienter.

En ständig utveckling av den operativa miljön och krav på ökad produktivitet gjorde det angeläget att studera patienters upplevelser i samband med operationer. Allt fler operationer görs idag i spinalanestesi. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva patienters upplevelse i samband med att genomgå en TUR-p operation i spinal anestesi. Studien genomfördes som en intervjustudie med kvalitativ ansats och bygger på åtta deltagare. En tematisk innehållsanalys genomfördes och resulterade i två övergripande teman: Att den långa väntetiden var en besvikelse och att stämning och miljö ingav trygghet och fyra underliggande kategorier: Att ha det jobbigt med prostatabesvär under den långa väntetiden, att få information var avgörande för att känna trygghet, att stämningen var bra gjorde att man kände tillit och förtroende och att den tekniska miljön var som förväntat.

The aim of this thesis is to study how public libraries in Sweden use alternative shelf arrangements that differ from the library?s original classification system, which in Swedish public libraries usually is the SAB-system. I sent out a survey to 169 public libraries, where I received 114 replies. 77 of these stated that they had some kind of alternative shelf arrangement, therefore these are the ones that are included in my study. I wanted to investigate in what way the libraries had changed their shelf arrangement and why this decision was made.

This master essay deals with the changes in the use of and the abandonment of the Avebury monument and the change of the surrounding landscape during the late Neolitihic, about 3000 B.C, and into the Bronze age, about 1500 B.C. The change in the way people supported themselves, the development of agriculture, brought along many other changes as well. I am in this paper dealing with these issues, how and what lead up to these changes, the peoples own part in the development, and I am also looking into the fact that these changes might not have meant an end of old ideologies, but rather a development in the expression of beliefs where the monuments of the neolithic no longer had a place in society..
