The municipality of Olofström is intensifying the co-operation with Sölvesborg and Karlshamn, the two other municipalities in the west of Blekinge. They co-operate in two local federations and for the moment negotiations are going on about a third local federation in continuation school, but the municipalities do not agree. The aim of this thesis is to examine why Olofström co-operate with Sölvesborg and Karlshamn, if there are any problems and where the limit of this co-operation is. The method in the thesis is qualitative interviews with local politicians and officials and an actor-structure-perspective is used. The result shows that Olofström is a municipality where the population is decreasing, and it has lost state subsidy during the last decade.

This study revolves around the NATO-led Operation Unified Protector in Libya 2011. The military campaign was executed under a UN mandate to protect the Libyan civilian population. Despite the mandate civilians died because of NATO bombings. The purpose of this study is to identify inadequate measures in avoiding civilian casualties during the operation and to continue to work towards minimizing civilian casualties caused by military organizations in international interventions.Early in the operation, NATO?s objective altered from protecting the civilians to over­throwing the Libyan regime. At the same time NATO changed its military targeting.

AbstractMatchmaking on an organisational level? about co-operation between municipal introduction-units and voluntary organisationsEssay in Political Science D, by Rebecka Johansson, spring 2006The aim of this study is to examine co-operation between municipal introduction-units, which work to integrate newly arrived immigrants and refuges, and voluntary organisations in Sweden. The essay is a comparative case study which examines three local authorities and the main questions are;- Do voluntary organisations constitute a functioning co-operation partner to the municipal introduction-units? Are there conditions for future co-operation?The answer to the questions is that there are no, or rarely any, co-operation between voluntary organisations and municipal introduction-units. It is difficult to judge whether there are conditions for future co-operation.

The reason for this study is to settle the balance between technology and preponderance in war. Each theory claims its own superiority to be decisive when it comes to achieving military victories, but this study will show what actually happens when the two theories are analyzed together in the same conflict. To prove the conclusions, a case-study on Operation Gazelle is used. The study will describe the theories, what a military victory is and which party in the conflict came out victorious after this specific operation. Both sides? forces will be shown and compared.

Det största folkhälsoproblemet bland kvinnor är hjärt-kärlsjukdom. Kvinnor är underrepresenterade bland patienter som får behandling i form av CABG-operation . CABG-operation är ett stort kirurgiskt ingrepp som innebär påfrestningar och en stor förändring i livet. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa kvinnors upplevelse av livskvalitet efter CABG-operation. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie, en metod för att sammanställa alla vetenskapliga arbeten inom ett specifikt område.

During 2009-2010 Sweden participated in an international military operation whose intention, according to the Swedish news media, was to fight Somali pirates. The purpose of this thesis is to study various decisions and documents behind the Swedish efforts, both military and foreign aid, regarding the matter of Somali pirates during the years 2009-2010 and analyze the results using an interpretation of the security-development-nexus-theory. The method used is text analysis based on the hermeneutic idea of understanding and interpretation.The thesis studies the international resolutions and national decisions that lead to the military operations in the Gulf of Aden and also the international strategies and national approaches regarding Sweden's assistance in the development of Somalia. The theoretical section contains an interpretation of the vast security-development-nexus-theory. The concepts of security and development are first presented separately and then collectively in terms of military security, societal security, economic security, regime security and human security.

Undersöka om det finns könsskillnader preoperativt och ett år efter operationavseende axelfunktion och livskvalitet.Material och metodStudien var retrospektiv. Deltagarna var 94 patienter varav 35 kvinnor med en medelålder på 55 åroch 51 män med en medelålder på 59 år som hade genomgått operation på grund av subacromielltimpingement och 86 patienter undersöktes både preoperativt och ett år efter operation. Patienternabedömdes preoperativt och ett år postoperativt med Constant score, Western ontario rotator cuff[WORC] och The European quality of life in five dimensions [EQ-5D].ResultatSignifikanta förbättringar kunde ses i axelfunktion och livskvalitet ett år efter operationen hos bådemän och kvinnor.

Det har inom krigföringen skett en utveckling mot riskfri krigsföring där västliga stater, och då främst USA och Storbritannien är de främsta representanterna. Jag har funnit bevis för detta genom att undersöka tre sentida, västliga operationer som samtliga har resulterat i krig och där samtliga fallerar på en eller flera av kriterierna för rättfärdiga krig. AbstractThis paper will examine the co-operation culture in teacher work teams in a primary school currently undergoing reorganization in the Stockholm region. This inquiry is based on qualita-tive interviews with teachers and work team leaders, and is aiming to answer how teachers co-operate during the reorganization process, to find the factors that affect co-operation. Our results show that the two teams practice communication, leadership and participation very differently. Currently there are clear differences in the work team?s tendency to develop and to work with the reorganization process, pedagogic methods, social and emotional awareness and ideological beliefs.

Inledning: Helhetssynen på rehabiliteringen efter en CI-operation berörs av många olika aspekter som påverkar livskvaliteten. Vid rehabiliteringen efter att ha opererat in ett cochleaimplantat (CI) är det viktigt att inte bara se till patientens direkta hörselbehov, utan ha en bredare helhetssyn och ta hänsyn till andra behov patienten kan ha. Olika delar i rehabiliteringen efter en CI-operation är teknisk -, medicinsk-, pedagogisk-, psykologisk-, psykosocial-, och samhällelig hörselrehabilitering. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket sätt rehabiliteringsmetoder vid CI-operation sker med utgångspunkt i en helhetssyn på rehabilitering inom audiologisk forskning, samt undersöka hur livskvaliteten påverkas efter CI-operation. Metod: Examensarbetets syfte och frågeställningar har granskats och besvaras genom en systematisk litteraturstudie.  Resultat: Studier med en helhetssyn på rehabiliteringen som innefattar de sex olika delarna inom hörselrehabilitering saknades. Studiens resultat indikerar att livskvaliteten efter en CI-operation blir avsevärt förbättrad, detta utvärderas med olika självskattningsskalor och rehabiliteringsmetoder.

C-uppsats som avhandlar de centrala begreppen i Guidelines for Operational Planning(GOP) (Centre of Gravity, Decisive Points, Direct and Indirect Approach, Culmination,Manoeuvre, Temp, Operational pause och Lines of operation) granskat i ett historisktperspektiv.Uppsatsen försöker verifiera hypotesen att Guidelines for operational planning (GOP)centrala begrepp fungerar och är applicerbara på alla operationer. Ett belägg för detta är attman kan identifiera begreppen i en historisk operation.Tyska väpnade styrkor från Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine och Luftwaffe genomförde ett anfallöver havet och i luften mot Norge den 9 april 1940. Oro är en av faktorerna att ta hänsyn till när människor ska genomgå en operation. Oro kan orsaka stort lidande och även ha betydelse för resultatet med operationen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva vilka omvårdnadsåtgärder som kunde minska oro hos patienter som ska genomgå kirurgi. I studien ingick 15 stycken artiklar som belyste omvårdnadsåtgärder för att minska patientens oro. Analysen gjordes med en manifest innehållsanalys.

Bakgrund: Att sövas är en av de mest stressfyllda erfarenheter ett barn kan få i samband medsjukhusvistelse. Perioperativ oro är relaterad till postoperativ smärta och negativa postoperativabeteendeförändringar.Syfte: Att belysa hur barns oro inför anestesi och operation kan förebyggas med andra metoder änfarmakologiska.Metod: En litteraturstudie där resultatet är baserat på 11 vetenskapliga artiklar publicerade mellan2000- 2010.Resultat: Distraktion i form av clowner och dataspel har visat sig minska barnets oro inför anestesioch operation. Familjefokuserad förberedelse i både skriftlig och muntlig form och terapeutisk lekminskar också barns oro. En tyst och lugn miljö bidrar till en lugnare insomning och även alternativmedicin i form av akupressur ger samma resultat.Slutsats: Med ganska enkla metoder kan barns oro inför anestesi och operation förebyggas. Alla destuderade metoderna har visat sig minska barns oro i jämförelse med det standardiseradeomhändertagandet..
