The purpose of this essay is to describe and analyze experiences of how the daily rounds and a persons role is changing when you go from being a family member to being a family member as well as being a kinship carer.Essential questions at issue was:- Which feelings are associated to the roll as kinship carer?- What are the motivations for the relative/family member to become a kinship carer?- What is the change of the role like before and after the disease.Six persons have been interviewed on the subject and symbolic interactionism and role theory has been our theoretical perspective. The essay has been related to the ideas of Meads on social interaction and to Goffmans theatre theorem.The result of the essay showed that feelings and motivations as regards to the daily rounds and the role of the kinship carer were individual, where similarities and differences occurred. When ones partner, parent or child got a disease/functional disability it generated in some changes regarding their daily rounds and it led to altering of roles. To assume a role was a natural result and often happened when a relative/family member got a disease or an injury..

This thesis investigates how different Linux-distributions installation interface relate to the ISO 9241 standard, parts 12 and 13, and how they relate to the installation interface of Windows XP, with the hypothesis: "There is a Linux-distribution whose installation interface according to applicable HCIrecommendations is equivalent to that of Windows XP." With the checklists provided by ISO 9241 an empirical study has been made, and so comparable measurements of how well the Linux-distributions and Windows XP follows the recommendations of the standard was obtained. By comparing the results from the tests similarities and differences between the installation interfaces can be deducted. Title: The nurse's dilemma in psychiatric inpatient care - a balancing act between good and evil Objective: To describe the nurse's experience of relieving patient suffering caused by coercive measures on a closed psychiatric ward . Frame of reference : The results are discussed in light of Eriksson´s theory of suffering and caring relationships Method: A qualitative analysis based on focus group discussions Results: The analysis resulted in six categories, to protect the patient , to involve the patient , not to lose control , to remain , to justify compulsion , and to be touched . The results showed that nurses had the experience of being able to relieve the suffering of patients caused by coercive measures. It was also found that the nurses had a tendency to justify coercive measures , the more experience they had of performing these . Conclusion: The results describe that nurses have the experience and knowledge of how to relieve patients' suffering caused by coercion but also their experiences of performing these .

Background: Our daily lives and personal interactions are increasingly featuring social media and social networks in particular. Topics regarding social media, its impact on society at large ? both on corporate as well as individual behavior ? has been the focus of many research papers. Personal use of social networks are regularly being mapped out by researchers aiming at clarifying concepts such as engagement, trust and interactivity, and mapped by companies seeking to maximize return on investment concerning their marketing efforts. The aim of our study is (i) to map how companies and/or organizations operating on the Swedish market use their company?s pages on the social media as a way of communicating with their followers and audience, as well as (ii) identifying whether ?Real-Time Marketing?, in our own definition, is used or not.Methods: The research methods used included both quantitative and qualitative content analysis.

The aim of this study is to examine Swedish public libraries preservation of rare book collections. In this study a rare book is rare when it become over a hundred years. I will investigate if libraries have any written policies or plans when it comes to preservation and also what the librarians? opinion about rare book collections are. This is of interest because public libraries have a lack of responsibility when it comes to preservation.

PVK består av ett främmande material som i kontakt med blod kan leda till att komplikationer som tromboflebiter bildas. Vid minsta tecken på rodnad, ömhet, svullnad, tromboflebit eller extravasation ska PVK avlägsnas. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att beskriva de senaste forskningsrönen kring sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder för att undvika PVK-relaterade komplikationer. Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudie där resultatet baserats på kvantitativa och kvalitativa artiklar.

Bakgrund: Ledarskapet för omvårdnaden är ett av sjuksköterskans kompetensområden och därmed en del av det dagliga arbetet. Därför är ledarskapet en viktig del av den nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskans kompetens för att säkerställa bästa möjliga omvårdnad för patienten. Detta kan upplevas som kravfyllt men också spännande.Syfte: Syftet med följande studie är att beskriva hur nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor ser på sin arbetsledarroll inom den psykiatriska omvårdnaden.Metod: Kvalitativ ansats. Fem stycken intervjuer genomfördes med sjuksköterskor från tre olika avdelningar inom en psykiatrisk klinik. Intervjuerna gjordes med stöd av en intervjuguide med öppna frågor.Resultat: I materialet framkom fyra teman.

The aim of this study is to compare how three local librarieshandle their collections, and to compare this with handlingcollections at national level. I have investigated librarian?sopinions of their collections and how they take care andpreserve them for the future. It has also been studied if thelibraries collections of old material contains more than justold book rarities.In this study I had compared my respondents answer withSvante Beckman and Magdalena Hillström`s theory ofmuseum`s four idealtypes. Their view of a museum is in theforms of a treasury, archive, school and a theatre.

The purpose of this study is to show what melancholy and irony in my poems express and what techniques that are used to accomplish these effects. Many theorists, among them Sigmund Freud and Julia Kristeva, characterize melancholy as an experience of loss, and therefore one of my questions is what kind of losses appear in my poetry. In search for an answer I analyze the texts from both a psychoanalytic and a sociological point of view. In the latter perspective I discuss the postmodern society using concepts from contemporary thinkers like Zygmunt Bauman, Fredric Jameson and Jean Baudrillard. Finally, I also examine if melancholy has an influence on the form of the poems.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om och hur Learning study som är en metod att granska, analysera och utveckla pedagogiken, kan förbättra undervisningen i teater på gymnasiets teaterestetiska inriktning. Jag vill säkerställa att kommunikationen i undervisningen fungerar och förbättrar deras kunskaper gällande begreppet närvaro inom teaterämnet. Enligt den ryske teaterpedagogen Stanislavskij så innebär närvaro en överensstämmelse mellan skådespelarens övertygelse i karaktären och det uttryck skådespelare och regissör vill förmedla. (Järleby, 2001, s. 174-175.) I detta arbete har jag även reflekterat och redogjort för tidigare forskning genom två studier inom Learning Study och en studie i teater.

Patienten befinner sig i ett livshotande tillstånd och miljön är mycket främmande för de närstående. En väl fungerande kommunikation sjuksköterska och närstående emellan är viktig för att hjälpa de närstående bemästra den svåra situation de befinner sig i. Omvårdnadsforskning visar vikten av att de närstående finns nära patienten, men i en livshotande situation kan de närstående bli anmodade att lämna rummet.Metod:För att belysa närståendes och sjuksköterskors uppfattningar och erfarenheter gällande närståendes närvaro vid HLR på en intensivvårdsavdelning utfördes en forskningsöversikt. Sökning gjordes i databaserna Cinahl och Pubmed, med hjälp av sökorden cardiopulmonary resuscitation, resuscitation, witnessed resuscitation, nurse, nurse perspective, experience, attitude, perception, family, family presence, relative perception, och intensive care.

The objective of this project was to develop an application for mobile phones using the Android operating system. The main goal was, with the help of GPS, to pinpoint locations, measure distance traveled and illustrate the progress on a map. Functionalities for just showing the map, fetching addresses and saving to a database was also implemented. The result of the work was a proper application, called MeasureApp, that fulfills the goals set in the planning stages of the project. MeasureApp can be used to measure distances where accuracy is not a main factor, i.e walks or runs.

Background For patients in need for psychiatric care who refuse treatment, coercive care might be necessary due to The Law of Psychiatric Compulsory Care, LPT. The purpose of this law is to make sure the patient later on will be able to increase autonomy. The most frequent patients in coercive care suffer from psychosis, heavy depression or having high risk of committing suicide. One of the most important tasks in the nurse profession is to increase patients? autonomy.
