Gränssnittsdesign för videocentrerad online-rådgivning : Utformad efter frågeställarens och rådgivarens olika användarroller

Följande arbete är en designstudie som har, utifrån information som tagits fram från litteratur, tidigare undersökningar, intervjuer och personas, utvecklat ett designförslag för en online rådgivningstjänst, som är anpassad efter de olika användarrollerna, frågeställare och rådgivare, utefter den kunskap som användarna har kring ämnet men också av att använda webbtjänsten. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur gränssnitten kan utformas för att uppfylla de mål som respektive användarroll har med att använda tjänsten. Designförslaget har tagits fram som en del av ett större projekt där cancerpatienter har möjlighet att låna hem en iPad som ska fungera som en tillgång till information och vara ett kommunikationsmedel, framförallt vid den vänteperiod som inträffar efter patienten har fått besked om behandling, fram tills behandlingen börjar, då det inte förekommer några regelbundna läkarbesök. Den del som arbetet har involverats i handlar framförallt om en webbtjänst där cancerpatienter möjlighet till att titta på färdiginspelade informationsfilmer som förklarar hur behandlingen går till, och därefter kunna samtala med en sjuksköterska om det har dykt upp några eventuella frågor. Användarna har möjlighet, som kommunikationsmedel, att använda ett videoverktyg som har varit i centrum av designen eftersom det kan användas för att underlätta kommunikationen mellan användarna, där videoinformationen, som bifogas från de befintliga videoklippen, kan förtydliga användarens meddelande.

As an effect of increased living standards and improved health care, life expectancy has risen in many parts of the world. At the same time, welfare diseases such as diabetes and obesity increases. As the number of elderly and long-term sick rises, so will the medical care needs. E-health applications are often presented as a way to meet future medical and doing so within the scope of existing resources. By facilitating health communication and widen access to health services by offering them online, e-health applications encourages people to become more engaged in their own health, thus working proactively towards a healthier population.

Since a few years back television has been on a verge of an enormous digital change. Web-TV is now growing at an incredible rate and is said to completely change the way we consume TV. The purpose of this essay is to determine and gain an understanding of how representatives of the broadcast industry looks at the phenomenon of web-TV and especially the different kinds of online video services and how they believe this will affect the television. Methods used are qualitative interviews which we compared with previous studies on the subject and acknowledged communication theories. The respondents were people with good insight and understanding of the media and TV industry.

Hot och våld i arbetslivet : - En kvalitativ studie om socialsekreterares utsatthet

The purpose of this study was to investigate how social services workers describe, the risk of being exposed to threats and violence in their profession. Six social services workers were interviewed, four from the Welfare Office in a major city and two from the Child and Family Services in a minor city. Results showed that the majority of social services workers consider themselves exposed in their profession, meaning that they feel there's a risk of a violent or threatening situation occurring in their work situation. All interviewees had experiences from some sort of threat or violence in a work related context and they attested that non-personal assaults, such as threats made through telephone, email and answering machines are more common than verbal assaults made in personal meetings. Being prepared and listening to ones intuition is a way of dealing with exposure when meeting with a client.

It is important that companies knows how to handle a complaint when they receive one from a customer. This information could the company take care of and use when they develop new services. Furthermore a good complain handling leads to satisfied and loyal customers which increases the revenue for the company. We have examined how SAS handle their internal information process and if this process affects the information and in that case how. The study is performed with a qualitative method, based on deep interviews.

"Follow me, and I follow back" : En kvalitativ studie om unga killars upplevelser av sin twitteranvändning

Online social networks are a natural part of the lives of today?s western youth. Media and information literacy is a central part of research in Library and Information science and until now there has always been more focus on these subjects in a learning context rather than in an every day life context.The aim of this study is to further examine how adolescent boys value and trust the information they receive via Twitter in their personal lives, and how this effects their view of their environment. The study was done with a qualitative method, where we conducted interviews with six boys who were all born in 1997. The results showed that they knew how to react critically to information on Twitter.

Lokaliseringsbaserade tjänster : En användar- och kontextcentrerad kartläggning av LBS

Location-based services (LBS) contains of services helping users of finding positions of themselves or other objects. LBS applications can present information in varies types of ways, these could be threw speech, text, geographic symbols, photos etc. Not many studies have been done to examine the aspects of LBS communication and there is a demand for user and context centered mapping.The purpose of this report is to present a model for the development of user and context based services. The model will give guide lines of recommendations when implementing LBS. The different technologies that support LBS will also be noticed.

Syns du inte så finns du inte. - En studie om irreguljära immigranter och socialtjänsten

Different studies have shown that somewhere between 10 000 and 75 000 persons live in Sweden as undocumented migrants. They are not entitled to basic human and social rights such as access to health care on the same basis as persons holding a residence permit in Sweden. Undocumented migrants are often exploited as workers in the informal economy and they are not allowed to organize in unions. The Swedish Social Services is by law bound to care for all people living in Sweden, though in reality undocumented migrants are excluded from benefits and efforts granted by the Social Services. Our aim with the study has been to investigate the situation of undocumented migrants in Sweden and in relation to Social Services.

Utvärdering av report writers

Report writers (sv rapporteringsverktyg) används för att skapa och hantera databasbaserade rapporter. Detta examensarbete handlar om Reporting Services, ett helt nytt rapporteringsverktyg från Microsoft. Syftet med examensarbetet var att utvärdera Reporting Services för att se vad verktyget har att erbjuda i förhållande till rapporteringsverktyg från andra tillverkare. En jämförelse mellan Reporting Services och rapporteringsverktyg från tre andra betydande tillverkare har gjorts. En djupare utvärdering av Reporting Services, där arkitektur, funktionalitet och andra egenskaper gåtts igenom grundligt, har också genomförts.

Oro för barn som far illa : förskolechefers tillämpning av anmälningsskyldigheten

The purpose of this study was to investigate how directors of preschool apply the mandatory reporting and what information they say is important in the decision to report child maltreat-ment. The study was built on five semi-structure interviews with five directors of preschool working in Greater Stockholm. The perspective of this paper is sociology of law theory. This means to study how out of law information makes sense when director of preschool applies the mandatory reporting. The result was analysed with three different analytic tools: action plan, consulting social services and the considerations of the directors of preschool them-selves.

Sitt kvar, snart kan du välja din reklam : En kvalitativ studie om tittarnas attityder till valbart reklaminnehåll på webb-TV

Denna C-uppsats undersöker om tittarens attityder till marknadsföring på webb-TV kan förändras av en interaktiv tjänst som ger möjligheten att välja de reklamfilmer som ska presenteras. För att skaffa information använde vi oss av en empirisk studie som involverade fokusgruppsintervjuer med erfarna deltagare. Studien är därför baserad på respondenternas tidigare kunskap av webb-TV för att kunna jämföra dessa mot den nya experimentella implementerade tjänsten. Efter studien har vi funnit att attitydförändringar verkar har inträffat: Majoriteten av tittarna tycker att en valbar reklamtjänst skulle öka tittarupplevelsen till det bättre. Dock tycker en minoritet att valet leder till ett ytterligare moment som bedöms vara för tidskrävande..

Dtourist: Historieskapande, interaktion och planering med rörlig media på webben

The climate for video sharing online is somewhere in the border of becoming a place for only the big companies to distribute material with general interest, or small communities with genre-specific interest to attract a larger audience. In this article I will look at the travelindustry to see what possibilities can be implemented into communities with interest in planning and travelling. I will argue that the importance of collaboration with different media can create a bigger picture so that more people can use and discover each other?s travel videos and experiences. I have also taken a closer look at social interaction at online communities such as MySpace and YouTube.

Den mobila marknadsföringens utveckling - Sociala medier som plattform för mobil marknadsföring.

Företag har sedan länge varit intresserade av mobil marknadsföring och då speciellt medplatsbaserade tjänster (Location Based Services ? LBS) som fokus. Ett stort hinder för denna nyamarknadföringskanal har då varit att hantera kundens acceptans till reklam i mobilen. Vårt syfteär att identifiera faktorer som visat sig vara kritiska och idag hanterbara för att uppnå en lyckadmobil marknadsföring. Den utförda empiriska studien pekar på att en stor del av befolkningenäger tillräckligt avancerade mobiler för att hantera en mer anpassad mobil marknadsföring.
