The aim of this study has been to take part of six ex-alcohol addicts? narratives about their lives with starting-point in which factors that has been significant and/or determining to be able to leave a life in abuse and what change this process has implied for their identity. To achieve the purpose with this study has three questions been formulated. These are what in the person?s life have been important in the process of a life free from alcohol, what were specific and decisive that effected the decision to stop using alcohol and what is the attitude to them self and their new role as an ex-alcohol addict. Alcohol is a drug that is legal and accepted in the society and it´s hard to discover an addiction.

This Master's thesis aims at pinpointing the political arguments that appear in the recent debate on scientific publication. There is a widely spread opinion that prices on digital resources are far too high, thus taking up a major part of the University libraries budget, while publishing companies make high profits. It is also a common opinion that the current publishing method does not take full advantage of the possibilities of electronic publishing. Lately a number of alternative ways of publishing have been initiated and discussed, generally referred to as open access. Open access published material is available free of charge and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions on the public internet.In this thesis the minutes from four hearings held by the UK House of Commons in the spring of 2004 are examined.

Delia flies (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) are economically important pests in several horticultural crops. The control is commonly relying on chemical insecticides, though there are possibilities with biological control from the natural enemies in the field. An important natural enemy is the parasitic wasp, Trybliographa rapae Westwood (Hymenoptera: Figitidae) that lays eggs in the Delia fly larvae. The parasitoid larva and the host larva have a parallel development until the host dies within its puparium and an adult parasitoid emerges. The aim of this thesis was to understand the attraction to host- and food-associated plant volatiles of T. rapae, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the parasitic wasp as a biological control agent.

Uppsatsen behandlar frågan om huruvida en totalt skattefinansierad kollektivtrafik med nolltariff kan anses vara rättvis och effektiv. Organisationen Planka.nu:s argument för nolltariff i kollektivtrafiken analyseras med utgångspunkt i free ridning-problemet och individens betalningsvilja. Den skattefinansierade nolltariffen jämförs med marginalkostnadsprissättning och tvådelad tariff, som är två teorier om optimal prissättning av kollektiva varor. Kollektivtrafik beskrivs som en klubbvara med vissa positiva externa effekter samtidigt som varans substitut väntas generera negativa externa effekter. I uppsatsen antas den samhällsoptimala mängden kollektivtrafik vara högre än summan av alla individers individuella efterfråga p.g.a.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka elevers upplevelser av tre grupprocesser samt vilken påverkan eleverna upplever att grupprocesserna har på elevernas kunskapsutveckling. De studerade grupprocesserna är groupthink, rollagande och free-riding. Vi har valt att utföra studien genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra stycken gymnasieelever för att ta reda på deras upplevelser av grupparbete och grupprocesser. Resultatet av intervjuerna presenteras i kapitel 4. Analys i form av citat där vi även har reflekterat över det som sagts.

Forskningen om säkerhetskulturen i organisationer domineras av kvantitativa enkätstudier med fokus på hur en god säkerhetskultur skapas. Sällan studeras vilken roll säkerhetskulturen har, vare sig den är god eller dålig, i händelseförloppet mot en fullgången katastrof. Uppsatsens syfte är tredelad. För det första, kritisera hur man traditionellt konceptualiserar begreppet säkerhetskultur, för det andra, utveckla en alternativ modell för att med hjälp av haveriutredningar öka förståelsen för säkerhetskulturens roll i samband med katastrofer, för det tredje, pröva modellen empiriskt på tre fartygskatastrofer: Express Samina, Herald of Free Enterprise och Estonia. Säkerhetskulturen betraktas som diversifierad bestående av ett antal parallella kulturer, i uppsatsen benämnda som subkulturer respektive delkulturer.

This essay examines how high school teachers in physical education and health thinks about assessment and grading. The essay show how teachers assess pupils during lessons and how teachers grade their students. The survey was based on interviews, in which six different teachers answered questions on the topic of assessment and grading. The issues surrounding assessment was linked to the theoretical concepts of formative and summative assessment, to see if the assessment methods teachers use. The issues surrounding grading was related to the theoretical concepts of validity and reliability in order to see how similar the grading is.The essay provides a picture of how the assessment and rate again looks different teachers.

In Automatic Milking Systems (AMS), cows are kept in a free stall barn equipped with one or several milking units (MU). The cows? activities in the system are called cow traffic. The purpose of this thesis was to analyse if the six month rule in chapter 3 § 9 part 1 in IL is compatible with EU law regarding the free movement of employees and in case of discrimination whether the rule can be justified. First of all the retroactive salary for an unlimited taxpayer and during the period of income earning a limited taxpayer who later became unlimited taxpayer will be analyzed in order to determine if they are considered to be in a comparable situation. An unlimited taxpayer is subject to taxation in Sweden for all of his incomes regardless their origin. However there is an exception according to six month rule, which implies that physical persons who stay abroad due to their minimum six months employment are in Sweden free from their incomes earned abroad if they are taxed in the country of employment. Tax exemption is applicable even if the payment from an employee working abroad is made retroactively.Article 18 EUFF states a general prohibition of discrimination on the grounds of nationality.

The aim of this study was to try to identify what young women see as typically female and how this affects them as individuals, focusing on the female body. How free or limited do they consider themselves to respond to prevailing ideals of beauty, to men and other women. Our questions are how young women construct femininity through the body and why? We do this by using a holistic gender perspective and with the help of key theoretical concepts; gender, normative femininity, heteronormativity, performance, freedom/power and the female body,. We have had a qualitative approach and we have done interviews with six girls in secondary school age.

Most of the seniors today have difficulties using the Internet due to either lack of knowledge or due to the size of the text on the websites, as well as the different color combinations. Since the seniors today have special needs on how to easily use a website, they are forgotten since most websites aren?t developed for seniors.However, sometimes appearances are deceiving and that is what this study has shown us.By questionnaire and interview study, the result of this study has showed us that the majority of the informants do use Internet, but they have special needs when it comes to the design on a website, and that includes color combinations, sizes of the text as well as on how to navigate from one page to another..
