There is a contradiction between not wanting to be alone, craving for fellowship, but still not wanting to socialize with just anybody. The purpose with this paper is to inquire into individuals experiences of loneliness and of fellowship, as well as the tension between individual/ and social needs. The empirical material consists of five semistrucured interviews with a mix of individuals with one common factor; they were all frequently visited the meeting/place Nyfiket in Helsingborg during the summer 2011. The result were interpreted on the basis of E.Goffmans theory concerning the inevitable role-playing in everyday life, E.Fromms discussion about individuals ongoing espace towards- or away from things in life. This master thesis was initiated with the aim to answer at what level of installed capacity of wind power in the northern parts of Sweden it would be beneficial to improve the transmission capacity from the northern Sweden. During the process of this work the aim has changed to try and create a model that can be used to analyze how well the hydro power installed in the northern Sweden can even out the quick changes in wind power production.To create a good model of all hydro power in northern Sweden is a very large job, unfortunately too large for a master thesis. This report therefore ends with an extensive analysis of the simplifications that have been made and their effects as well as a list of the future work that has to be done.The model that has been created have shown to be effective and produce good results. The conclusions that can be made is that the northern Swedish hydro power have very good possibilities to balance the wind power production. Only a few cases where water have been spilled even though there has been some free capacity has been discovered.

Background: The women who were called in for further examinations after a breast screening had all their examinations and test during one day. This organization has been conducted since 1993 in this clinic, but has not previously been evaluated. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the patients? experiences of the organization, in a radiologic breastcancer clinic, where all the examinations and the test-results were given at the same day. Method: An empirical quantitative study was performed.

The purpose of this paper was to carry out and evaluate a pedagogic ICT-project, where the computer was implemented in art class. Focus was on the consequences of collaboration and also on the students? understanding of their own performance, compared to techniques in traditional art class.The study was qualitative and began with studies in literature. The contents of the literature are the foundation of the discussion, especially theories concerning the learning process, IT and computer-based learning. In the project, three different groups of students from upper secondary school attended and they where given tasks to solve in the image editing program Paint Shop Pro.

Delaktighet i meningsfulla aktiviteter är viktigt för att utveckla och bibehålla fysisk hälsa, mental hälsa och livstillfredsställelse. Vidare är delaktighet och inflytande i samhället en grundläggande förutsättning för hälsa. Många arbetsterapeuter har pga. okunskap, svårigheter i bemötandet av patienter med annan kulturell bakgrund.

Arbetsterapeuter är uppmärksammade för att utföra observation i aktivitet vid bedömning av klientens förmågor. Arbetsterapeuter verksamma inom slutenvården med strokepatienter utreder klienters förmåga i utförande av aktiviteter i det dagliga livet [ADL]. Som stöd till utredning i det praktiska arbetet kan observation användas för att se klientens utförandekapacitet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av faktorer som kan påverka observation vid aktivitetsutförande. En kvalitativ ansats valdes som metod och datainsamling gjordes med halvstrukturerade intervjuer.

The reason for this study is to settle the balance between technology and preponderance in war. Each theory claims its own superiority to be decisive when it comes to achieving military victories, but this study will show what actually happens when the two theories are analyzed together in the same conflict. To prove the conclusions, a case-study on Operation Gazelle is used. The study will describe the theories, what a military victory is and which party in the conflict came out victorious after this specific operation. Both sides? forces will be shown and compared.

How does the computer influence teenagers' lives. I interviewed five young people, and gave a questionnaire to another 47, about this.What I found was that they were aware of and handled well the risks with the Internet and the computer, but had problems with the computer taking too much of their time. They wanted more time for their families and outdoor activities. It was mainly the Internet that seemed to have an influence on the teenagers, not the computer as a machine. They told me that there was a rough climate on the Internet, partly because of the possibility of being anonymous.

Hälsans Trädgård is a project which is going to start in Gamla Linköping, Sweden. The authors were commissioned by Arbetslivsresurs, a company working with work rehabilitation, to select, define and make job analyses on five work tasks at Hälsans Trädgård in Gamla Linköping. A job analysis means an analysis of the demands the job make of the individual. The job analysis used in this study is called The Revised Handbook for Analyzing Jobs (RHAJ) and is from the US Department of Labor (DOL). As RHAJ is an American instrument, the authors produced a form where the concepts are translated into Swedish to make the analysis easier.

The dependency of continuous electricity supply is high in the Swedish society today, at the same time no one is willing to pay for a too costly or over dimensioned power distribution system. The owners of the distribution systems are the ones responsible for this balance act of maintaining a high quality of electricity delivery to customers at a reasonable cost.In this master thesis a limited part of the primary distribution system (10 kV), owned by Mälarenergi Elnät AB and located in the city centre of Västerås, was chosen for a deeper analysis of its reliability. Its ability to handle outages of system components (N-1 and N-2 contingency analysis) was investigated to find out potential weak spots and parts of the grid that showed signs of being overdimensioned.The results of the performed simulations showed that in 74 % of the studied N-1 contingencies cases, consisting of outages of a bus bar in a distribution substation, the system could handle this without causing outages in other parts of the grid. For the N-2 contingencies 61 % passed the test. It was also found that one of the two included high voltage substations could alone supply the investigated part of the grid.

 Nyckelord:Akutmottagning, sjuksköterska, tidsfaktorer, stress, välmående Bakgrund:Stress och tidsbrist är vanligt förekommande inom sjukvården, och arbetet som sjuksköterska på akutmottagning genererar höga nivåer av stress. Syfte:Att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor på en akutmottagning upplever att tidsbrist och stress påverkar deras välmående. Metod: Kvalitativ studie där tolv stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer utfördes med sjuksköterskor på akutmottagningen på Akademiska sjukhuset. Intervjuerna analyserades med latent innehållanalys enligt Graneheim och Lundman samt Aaron Antonovskys hälsomodell. Huvudresultat:Sjuksköterskornas intervjuer resulterade i fyra kategorier och tio underkategorier vilka tillsammans bildade två domäner och ett tema. Kategorier som erhölls var hanterbarhet, meningsfullhet, begriplighet samt brist på hanterbarhet. Sjuksköterskornas välmående påverkades positivt av stress som upplevdes som hanterbar, meningsfull och begriplig, medan välmåendet påverkades negativt av brist på hanterbarhet. Tidsbrist påverkade sjuksköterskornas välmående endast negativt. Slutsats:Tidsbrist påverkade sjuksköterskornas välmående negativt, medan sjuksköterskorna upplevde att stress kunde ha både positiv och negativ inverkan på deras välmående. .

The company Västra Mälardalens Kommunalförbund, VMKF, wishes to revise and optimize their present data and IP-telephony network as of today consists of the three municipalities Köping, Arboga and Kungsör. As a municipal corporation, they seek consultation regarding internal as well as external review and investigation of the main structure of the network, its functionality and safety. By today?s increasing demands of Internet accessibility, availability of services and security far more extends the requirement of a complete network design. The foundation of networking rests on the balance between each of these necessities.

The aim of this study was to examine retiared individuals view of oral health and dental care. A questionnaire was sent to three different retirement organizations and answared by 106 participants. Our studie showed that irrespective of education or health status, the majority considered oral health and dental care was important and will become so in the future. Most elderly individuals can consider getting help with their oral health with oral health care in the future. This studie showed that the elderly are concerned about their appearance.
