Det är i denna miljö som barnen tillbringar sin största tid på dagen. Här ställs stora krav på pedagogens förmåga att organisera verksamhetens innemiljö för att barnen ska få möjlighet till lek. Examensarbetets syfte är att skapa en fördjupad förståelse av vilken betydelse förskolans organisation i tid och rum har för barns möjlighet att leka och lära.Undersökningen är en kvalitativ studie bestående av observationer, foto och enkäter. Två förskolors innemiljö studerades genom en enkät till pedagoger med öppna frågor samt genom observation av innemiljön med hjälp av fotodokumentation.

This case-study examines the correlation between young men and democratic instability in group discussions with two analyzing methods in one. One part of the method used is deliberative democracy which aims to explain how democracy works within the frames of discussion in ordinary citizens groups. In this study the citizens is upper level secondary school students. The other part of the method used is the theory pulled by many scholars lately, the demographic impact on democracy. With these two combined in one this study compare the theory of young men as more active in political violence and as a destabilising factor of democracy on country-level with the results of the study in deliberative democracy in small group discussions.

This study is about exclusion and childrens role-play in Swedish preschools. 8 preschool teachers, in 4 different preschools, have been interviewed about exclusion and low and high rating roles in children's role-play. The interviews was recorded and then analyzed. Relevant research in this study was from Corsaro, Tellgren and Löfdahl amongst others, and the results of the interviews is what this study is based on. The study showed that one of the most common roles in childrens role-play is the role of mother and that the roles children play are based on social norms and values.

Purpose:        The intention of this study is to distinguish if there is a correlation between mutual funds administration fee and their return. The study will also observe if there is a difference regarding the return between active and passive management fees.Method:        The study is founded on a deductive approach because the study is based on existing theories. Quantitative research based on statistical data has been used. A correlation analysis has been applied to determine if there is a correlation between the chosen variables.Conclusion:   The conclusion of the study is that active management of funds mainly do not give a higher return than passive management funds. Denna studie belyser användarvänligheten och den tekniska kvaliteten på webben, som idag är mycket mer utbrett än tidigare. Användarvänlighet är idag ett krav för att kunna mäta sig med konkurrenter även i webbsammanhang för att kunna få användarna att stanna på webbplatsen. Syftet med studien är att titta på hur man på bästa sätt kan utveckla en användarvänlig webbplats, utan att gå miste om väsentliga delar och funktioner. Under arbetets gång jämfördes två webbplatser utifrån användarvänlighet mot varandra och mot den teoretiska grund som finns inom området. Sedan gjordes en observation och en intervju med tillhörande frågeformulär hos sex utvalda respondenter för att kritiskt kunna granska utvalda webbplatser och sedan utveckla en helt ny utifrån detta resultat..

Volunteering involves performing tasks without receiving any compensation for it. Interest in this idealistic commitment to non-profit organizations is growing and the primary reasons for this is to help other people, pursue their interests and contribute to the organization.The purpose of the study is to examine what it is that motivates individuals to commit to non-profit organizations. This study will only examine aid organizations. In order to answer the question four different theories have been used and these are the most fundamental theories in this field. These theories are Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Hertzberg's two-factor theory, Self-Determination Theory and The Gift.

Syftet med vårt utvecklingsarbete var att intressera flickor till att utveckla sitt musikspelande. Arbetet genomfördes på en fritidsgård i Skellefteå kommun under vårterminen 2003. Gruppen med flickor vi arbetade med var mellan tretton och fjorton år gamla. Vår undersökning genomfördes under en sju veckors period. Försökspersonerna intervjuades vid två tillfällen och observationer genomfördes under samtliga repetitionstillfällen.

This study was made in collaboration between Umeå University and Västerbotten sportsfederation. The study was aimed to find out how the municipalities are working with variousissues in the sports field. A subject of interest for this study was to see if the municipalitieswere implementing strategies in the sports field on determined goals by using policydocuments. Our study focused mostly on kids and youth that participate in organized sports inVästerbotten. Other aspects of interest in the study were economics in sports, how youthsports should be organized, and segregation in sports due to financial factors.

The aim of our study was to increase understanding of older people?s views on social media?s and identity by asking the question: How do seniors perceive identity on Facebook? Based on a qualitative approach with written interviews conducted by e-mail, we contacted respondents who had and used a Facebook account. In our study we used categories, such as seniors, identity, Facebook and networking to be able to answer our research question. The result of this study is shown as a description of nine respondent?s testimony regarding identity on Facebook.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how out-pedagogy, drama and art can be used as means of promoting language development of bi-and multi-language learners, and to show what benefits these three methods offer to children of year three of an elementary school in Stockholm City. This is a small survey of work-style and the results are based on observations and interviews with five teachers which included three class teachers, one resource teacher and one other language teacher and it was carried out two full days of observations in both classroom and outdoor environment. In this work, I note how out-pedagogy, drama and art can help bi- and multilingual children develop language. My study shows, in accordance with the respondents interviewed, as well as research in general that out-pedagogy, drama and art is language development practices. They argue that out-pedagogy and the aesthetic elements promote language development of bi- and multilingual children in different ways and complements the traditional approach.

This is a study of the importance of culture for persons who are in their terminal stage of life. The purpose of my study is to find out if culture, particularly literature, can be a comfort for persons who are about to die. The study is based on interviews with people who are working in the palliative team at Norra Älvsborgs Länssjukhus (NÄL) in Trollhättan. It is also based on study of literature. It is literature about hospital library, culture in hospital treatment, palliative care, bibliotherapy and ?own stories? from dying persons.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka datorns roll i skrivprocessen. Kan skrivande på datorn hjälpa till att utveckla elevers texter och ge ett bättre skrivresultat än traditionellt användande av penna och papper? Vilken påverkan har lärandemiljön på arbetet med datorn som arbetsredskap i skrivundervisningen? Hur påverkas skrivprocessen av dialogen eleverna emellan? Målgruppen för undersökningen är de yngre skoleleverna i år 1-2. Den empiriska undersökningen bygger på en observation i år 2 och intervjuer med pedagoger som använder sig av datorn som ett arbetsredskap i sin undervisning. Resultatet av denna undersökning visar datorns potential i skrivprocessen med elever i de lägre skolåren.

The purpose of our study is to get more knowledge about how moral dilemmas affect social workers in their work. This because we find that a big part of social work involves ethic reflections and that is why we find it important for social workers to have knowledge about how they should and can think and act in these situations. Ethic statements exist for social workers to use in their work but we haven?t found any guidelines for concrete situations and that?s why we decided to study this area. Questions we want to answer are how do the social workers define moral dilemmas in social work? How do the social workers deal with moral dilemmas in their work? How do moral dilemmas affect social workers in their work? This is a qualitative study with interviews from seven social workers from one social service office although they are from different units.

The aim of this study was to evaluate whether gallop training, rather than regular drive training, is worthwhile for trotters race performance. Another aim of the study was to expand the author?s riding- and driving capacity, and get more practical experience on the impact of interval training on trotters. The sample population in the study was two trotters, one Standardbred, and one cold-blood. Given the small sample population, the results of the study is only indicative on the effects of gallop training on trotters, and not conclusive.

Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att undersöka ifall införandet av en skoluniform skulle få bort kläders betydelse i dagens skola. Till min hjälp har jag använt mig av fem frågeställningar som alla handlar om kläders betydelse inom skolan. Den metod jag använt är kvalitativ, både observation och intervju. Jag valde, slumpmässigt ut åtta elever i årskurs 9 för intervju. Resultatet av både observationen och intervjuerna vittnar om att kläder har en stark betydelse för vem man är.
