De senaste fem åren har tågresandet ökat med 28 procent. Den ökade trafiken har lett till ett högt utnyttjande av anläggningar och fordon. Det har i sin tur medfört stora problem med punktligheten av tågtrafiken. För att matcha den ökande trafiken på Sveriges järnvägar ska detta examensarbete undersöka om man kan implementera Lean produktion för Banverkets byte av spårväxlar för att göra dessa mer effektiva. För att ta reda på vad Lean produktion egentligen är gjordes en litteraturstudie.

Marketing communications have earlier been conducted via traditional channels. Today companies have discovered the possibility of doing much of their marketing communication in cooperation with the web at relatively low cost. This development has led to the ability for small businesses to compete with large companies independent of geographic location. The purpose with this thesis was to examine how small businesses use their website in marketing communications with their customers in the consumer market. In order to reach this purpose we have conducted interviews with five small businesses in different business trade with varying degrees of website usage, located in Piteå and Luleå.

During natural conditions cattle live in large herds, which are divided into subgroups of 10-15 animals. Humans have held cattle for over 9000 years. Today we mostly have cows for milk and meat production during more or less intensive forms. Most of the Swedish cattle have the opportunity to graze during the summer time. This partly arises from the Swedish Animal Protection law which stipulates that cattle must have the option to be outside and graze, also partly because it makes it easier for the farmer.

This essay presents a comparative study of the Swedish articles of war of year 1621 and 1683 which aims to, through analysis, assess the extent of the development in Swedish army legislature during the 17th century and to derive the likely underlying causes for this development. Collections, compilations and databases currently stand under a solid intellectual property protection in Sweden. This legal protection is partly a product of the old Nordic ?catalogue-rule? seen in the former 49 § of the Swedish copyright act (upphovsrättslagen) but was further extended by the implementation of the EU directive on the legal protection of databases 96/9/EG and the new sui generis-right. Since major values are represented digitally combined with the fact that Internet serves as the main provider for information a strong legal protection for databases must be carefully crafted. When crafting this kind of legal protection the right to freedom of information is balanced against the database producers? interests of property protection as well as social and public interests such as increased innovation.

Forskningen på området präglas av en klassisk bild av att företagens storlek påverkar informationsinnehållet på deras hemsidor, ju större företag desto bättre kvalité och innehåll på informationen. Frågeställning: Då forskningen de senaste åren har stagnerat inom detta ämnesområde samt att den senaste studien av svenska förhållanden gällande företagsstorlek kontra IR-kvalité är snart tio år gammal vill denna uppsats reda ut: Vilka skillnader i informationsinnehållet finns mellan stora, mellanstora och små företags IR-sidor? Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka vad det i första hand finns för skillnader i informationsinnehållet på företagens hemsidor mellan stora, mellanstora och små företag.

In the recent years auditing scandals all around the world, deficient internal control has attracted a lot of attention. This has contributed to further requirements on insight and internal control. Those scandals have seriously damaged the auditor?s profession and contributed to a reduced trust among the public. Therefore an extensive work to recover and stringed the trust was started all around the world.

This master thesis encompasses an inventory of the older industrial community of Gimo. Investigations of the contamination situation for each industrial area were done. A risk classification according to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency?s ?Method of Surveying Contaminated Sites?, phase one, followed. The risk classification was done on areas of Iron Work, a rockwool industry and a landfill. Gimo have had iron manufacturing from 1615 until 1945. Gimo have had two blast-furnaces and two smithies periodically.
