Bakgrund: Antalet personer över 80 år kommer att öka dramatiskt under de närmaste decennierna. Allt fler äldre blir beroende av vård på äldreboende. Joyce Travelbees omvårdnadsteori används för att förklara omvårdnadsprocessen och den mellanmänskliga relationen för att uppnå en god omvårdnad. Syftet: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa hur det är att vara äldre och bo på ett äldreboende. Metod:Studien genomfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie, baserad på 14 vetenskapligt granskade artiklar.

Sverige har blivit ett mångkulturellt land vilket innebär att sjuksköterskan möter patienter från olika kulturer som är i behov av palliativ vård. Detta gör det viktigt att belysa i vilken grad sjuksköterskan har förmåga att hantera svårigheter som kan förekomma vid vård av patienter med olika kulturella bakgrunder i palliativ vård.Syftet med arbetet är att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelse av transkulturell palliativ vård. Metoden som används är en kvalitativ litteraturöversikt grundad på 11 artiklar som beskriver sjuksköterskans upplevelser av transkulturell palliativ vård. Artiklarna har eftersökts i databaserna CINAHL, Medline och PubMed.Resultatet visar att kommunikation är en viktig del för att kunna erbjuda vård och omsorg med kvalitet till patienter med olika kulturella bakgrunder. Förståelse för patientens verbala och icke-verbala kommunikation är väsentlig för att kunna skapa en bra relation mellan sjuksköterskan och patienten inom palliativ vård.

Aim: The aim of this study was to highlighting the experiences of individuals of non-pharmacological treatment for chronic pain.Method: The study was designed as a literature review with aim to review andcompile the articles results. This study has been based on a systematic literature search of supplementing out of an unsystematic search were 11 articles were found.Results: The participants in the studies had experienced a good effect out of non-pharmacological treatments for their pain and a improved quality of life. Based on participants´ experiences of treatment two categories occurred: body awareness and relaxation. Body awareness arose through treatments like yoga, mindfulness meditation and CBT. Relaxation occurred through treatments, like music, heat, massage and meditation.Conclusion: This study highlights how non-pharmacological treatments is experienced by individuals with chronic pain and two key areas have been identified.

There is a written form that describes how the different processes should be operated and which capital budget models that should be used but the usage of these forms can be questioned.

Idag behandlas flera patienter med läkemedelsbehandling vid hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar. Av alla ordinerade läkemedel, är hjärt- och kärlmediciner de allra vanligaste. Sjuksköterskan och läkaren har en central roll för att följsamheten ska bli god. Att finna vad det är som besvärar patienten vid läkemedelsbehandling är därför en förutsättning för att sjuksköterskan ska kunna påverka följsamheten. Litteraturstudiens syfte var att beskriva vad som påverkade patientens följsamhet vid läkemedelsbehandling av hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar.

Background: Every year, more than 1000 cases of adverse events are reported in the Swedish health care system. These adverse events cost approximately 240 million Swedish kronor each year. By explaining the factors that cause nurses to make mistakes when they have too great a workload, it is hoped the awareness of health care staff will increase. Aim: To perform a literature review which describes factors that can endanger patient safety when nurses experience too great a workload. Method: A systematic literature review encompassing both quantitative and qualitative material.

The break up of the family unit leads to new living arrangements and significant changes for children. This can be an extremely upsetting experience for a child, especially if the child is old enough to understand what is happening. New living arrangements can effect a childs fundamental sense of security as well as having consequences later on in life. The object of this research paper was to examine how a group of seven people (children from split families who are now adults), interpreted and described their childhood in relation to the living arrangements they grew up with after the breakdown of the family unit. The main question areas we have examined are: How have the interviewee's living arrangements during childhood affected their understanding of themselves today? In what way has the adult's present day lifestyle been influenced by the split up of the family that they grew up with - using their own words? How do the children from split families describe and interpret concepts such as family and marriage, based on their own experiences? Our research was conducted with the help of seven people from split families who are now adults and who experienced different types of split family arrangements as a child ? permanent residence with mother/father or alternate living with both parents.

The aim of this study was to examine the experience, knowledge and attitude to mandatory reports of mistreatments amongst first line managers and assistance nurses in municipal elderly care. The following questions were at the center of the analysis: how do the different professional groups view having to report their own organization? How can various factors affect the mandatory reporting of mistreatments? What knowledge do the different professional groups have of mistreatments and mandatory reporting? A qualitative research method was used to examine these questions in the form of semi structured interviews and a small document study. The interviews were carried out with assistance nurses and first line manages in elder care, we interviewed four respondents from both professional groups. The interviews were then transcribed and coded with help of a content analysis.

Abstract:This thesis work has been conducted at the Real Estate Department in Halmstad.The department consists of a construction/project management-unit and an operation/management-unit.Like many other towns in Sweden, Halmstad has had a long lasting problem with indoor environment. Not at least at their preschools.Today they are constructing from current building regulations. They have learned from negative experiences which have occurred in the indoor environment in older buildings.Focus is now on healthy materials, like low emission value, energy efficiency and optimization of the building, but still with soft parameters such as cleaning, interior and choice of materials.The fixtures is provides by the real estate department and the furnishings are provides by the children and youth administration. Together they are trying to provide a great indoor environment.I have, together with the real estate department and the children and youth administration of Halmstad, investigated how to provide a good indoor environment in the preschools with small funds.In my thesis there is one theoretical part with a questionnaire survey of how the preschool staff is experiencing their indoor environment to determine where the problems often start. And a practical part with measurements to try and come down to a result that analysis the cause of the problems and also to make sure that the ventilation systems are fulfilling projected values.The measurements and the questionnaire surveys was made at Lokes preschool in Frösakull, Askens preschool in Oskarström and Gullbrandstorps preschool.There were some differences between the staff-responses at the three different preschools.At Askens preschool they feel that the premises are cleaned poorly.At Gullbrandstorps preschool they feel that the indoor-air is bad because they can´t open the windows.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyse the constructions andinterplay of gender, ethnicity and sexuality between female and male careworkersand residents in a nursing home. To explore this from a qualitativeeveryday life?s approach, material was collected through participating observations,interviews, and informal conversation with careworkers and residents.The result points out that historical patterns of gender and caring relatedto this context still matter and affect both careworkers and residents. Forexample, female careworkers talked about the concept of caring as a genuinefemale experience, while male careworkers, who were in a minority, insteadtalked about caring in more gender-neutral words. The result also indicatesthat a larger number of male careworkers not necessarily leads to a highergrade of gender equality.

Sveriges befolkning blir allt äldre och i takt med detta ökar andelen personer med demens och deras behov av vård. Svårigheter med att hantera beteendestörningar såsom aggression och agitation hos personer med demens har visat sig vara ett problem för vårdpersonal. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie har varit att samman-ställa aktuell vetenskaplig litteratur avseende vad som är viktigt i omvårdnaden av personer med demenssjukdom som uppvisar problematiska beteenden samt att undersöka vilket stöd vårdpersonalen behöver för att på ett professionellt sätt kun-na bemöta dessa personer. En systematisk litteraturstudie genomfördes utefter Goodmans sju forskningssteg (SBU, 1993), där vetenskapliga artiklar hittades efter sökningar i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl. Resultatet redovisar vikten av att som vårdpersonal försöka finna eventuella bakomliggande orsaker till de prob-lematiska beteendena samt att utforma omvårdnad som anpassas till individen.

Syftet med arbetet är att belysa kulturella skillnader och problem som kan uppstå vid omvårdnad av person med annan kulturell bakgrund. En litteraturstudie gjordes och den är baserad på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar och materialet bearbetades genom en innehållsanalys.
