Studiens syfte har varit att se vad sjuksköterskan i sin omvårdnad kan göra för att stödja barn i åldrarna tre till tolv år som är anhöriga till svårt sjuka föräldrar samt i samband med förälderns bortgång. Studien har genomförts som en litteraturstudie. Det har inte direkt forskats så mycket om sjuksköterskans roll vid bemötande av barn som är anhöriga till en svårt sjuk förälder. Den forskning som finns om barn fokuseras till stor del på situationer då det är barnet som är sjukt och föräldrarna är anhöriga. Vissa forskare har dock intresserat sig för stöd av anhöriga i stort.

Today adult patients' relatives are seen as a resource in psychiatric care but few researchers have examined the lived experience of relatives' participation in psychiatric care. The aim of this study was to illuminate how mental health staff and relatives of adult patients experienced the relatives' participation in psychiatric care on hospital ward.The study was guided by a phenomenological approach and a lifeworld perspective. Data were collected through in-deep interviews with ten adult patients' relatives and three group-interviews with ten mental health carers from two hospitals in Sweden.The essence of the lived experience of relatives' participation in psychiatric care in hospital ward is described in the constituents: invitation to participate in psychiatric care; meet the staffs' care; to participate in own or others terms; bring the common everyday world with you; feel burden; participation a trip in time and space. The findings of the study show that the relation between the staff and the relatives are important for the relatives' participation in psychiatric care. The relatives' participation can alter from no participation to a meaningsful participation, from suffering to well-being.This study can help medical staff to understand relatives and their participation in a new way..

I Sverige finns minst 150 000 personer med demens och cirka 20 000 personer insjuknar årligen. Bemötandet av en demenssjuk person har visat sig vara helt avgörande för hur mycket den demenssjuke klarar av och en nära positiv relation mellan demenssjuka och vårdare kan få den sjuke att fungera bättre. Syftet med studien var att belysa vad omvårdnadspersonal på kommunala gruppboenden upplevde som förutsättningar och hinder för att skapa bra bemötande av demenssjuka. Data samlades in via intervjuer och bearbetades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. De kategorier som framkom var: Medvetenhet om kroppsspråkets betydelse för kommunikation, Viljan till gott samarbete och flexibelt arbetssätt, Stabil personalgrupp, Inställd på den andres behov, Känsla av otillräcklighet och Resursbrist.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the points of view of three groups of actors about their local learning center and its collaboration with the library. By interviewing groups of actors from the municipal sector, the library staff and students, I aim to investigate their associations of the learning centre, what kind of services it should offer, and how they understand the role of the library staff in specific collaboration between the public library and the adult education administration. The study design is based on Gunnar Grepperud?s and Terje Thomsen?s three missions for a local learning centre; the mission of a broker, a meeting place and a motivator. I also use Carol Kuhlthau?s levels of mediation as an approach to investigate how the actors want the library staff to work in relation to the centre.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews, understand the home care staff's experiences of insufficiency and also which strategies they are using to deal with these experiences.The questions of this study are:In which situations are home care staff experiencing insufficiency?What copingstrategies do home care staff set out to deal with these experiences? Method: Interviews has been used as a method to gather empirical data.Theory: Theories of coping-strategies has been used as theory in the analyses of the empirical material.Results: The result of this study concludes that experiences of insufficiency mainly promotes in situations of lack of time for various reasons. The main strategies home care staff is using are planning, adapting, accepting, compensation, get themselves together, control and manage their emotions and understanding. Other situations that promote feelings of insufficiency are lack of competence and when the eldery person doesn't want to receive a planned effort. Efter att olika inlånade organisationsmodeller från industrin under 1930 till 1960-talet visat på brister när det gäller organisation av hälso- och sjukvård, introducerades i slutet av 1960-talet primary nursing. Modellen bygger på en till en principen, 24-timmars ansvar och minimal arbetsdelning, vilket leder till att sjuksköterskor ser hela människan och bedriver en patientcentrerad vård. Den rådande organisationsmodellen påverkar sjuksköterskans upplevelse och därför har vi utifrån vårt syfte, att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelse av primary nursing, valt att göra en litteraturstudie. Med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats har vi analyserat data från tio artiklar. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att känna ansvar och vara självständig, att samarbete och kommunikation är avgörande, att patienter och anhöriga är nöjda och trygga, att känna tillfredställelse i arbetet samt krav och hinder.

Behaviour problems are often behaviours that cat owners don´t like, but are normal to the cat. The reason to why cat owners experience certain feline behaviours as problematic is probably due to the current practice in cat housing. The ways that cats are kept today causes somewhat of a compromise between cat and owner and inhibits the expressions of the cat's natural and normal behaviour. The cat owners may misunderstand their cats behaviour, for example the cat owners believe that their cats perform certain behaviours because of feelings of guilt, hate, revenge or maybe to protest against something or someone. An animal hospital may help solve behaviour problems, but also help the cat owners to undstand their cat´s behaviour in an other perspective. The aim of this study is to investigate the need of a cat ethologist in animal hospitals.
