BAKGRUND: Studierna visar att våldet har ökat med åren. Riskfaktorer och riskbeteenden har identifierats och orsakerna kan vara flera till att patienten upplever ohälsa. Forskningen inom detta fält har hittills fokuserat på bakomliggande orsaker till patientens aggressiva beteende och bedrivits under många år. Ökade kunskaper om sjuksköterskans upplevelse av att vårda patienter med aggressivt beteende inom psykiatrisk vård kan bidra till att utveckla omvårdnad anpassad till situationen, i syfte att främja hälsa.SYFTE: Studiens syfte är att utforska sjuksköterskans omvårdnad och upplevelse av att vårda patienter med aggressivt beteende inom psykiatrisk vård.METOD: Litteraturstudie av kvalitativa och kvantitativa studier.RESULTAT: Analysen resulterade i tre huvudkategorier och 12 underkategorier. Huvudteman som uppkom var;sjuksköterskan i interaktion med patienten, organisatoriska faktorer och personliga faktorer samt underkategorier som handlade om; avledning av hotfulla situationer, personligt utrymme, information och bedömning, gränssättning, riskfaktorer kopplade till aggression, bristande support från chefer, bemanning, personalsäkerhet, erfarenhet och kommunikationsfärdigheter, lojalitet gentemot patienten och arbetet, hopplöshet och besvikelse samt coping.SLUTSATS: Resultatet visar att sjuksköterskor upplever vårdandet av patienter med aggressivt beteende inom psykiatrisk vård på olika sätt.

The aim of this empirical study was to investigate how nurses on a ward within the emergency clinic deal with analgesia prescriptions and the pain management documentation. The used method was divided into chart reviews and qualitative interviews with nurses in clinical practice at the ward. This means that both a qualitative and quantitative approach was desired. The results incline that nurses generally apply to the laws and restrictions surrounding the nursing discipline, as used in pain treatment. Thus they generally fulfill the obligations accounting to documentation.

The number of elderly in Sweden is increasing due to improved living conditions and better medical care. It is important that society adapts to the increase and begins to work preventively to reduce the costs of the increase. An important aspect is the elderly accommodation, the cost of health care in specific accommodation is almost twice as high as those for ordinary housing. Therefore, it is important that we availability adapt dwelling to allow older people to live in ordinary housing for as long as they wish, instead of moving to assisted living before they need it. If we can fulfil the elder?s needs with home care instead, society can save a lot of money.In this report, three different forms of housing has undergone accessibility increases and been inventoried and analysed.

This study highlights the importance of computer technology and its impact on elder care staff's skills development in the public sector. The government presents the digital agenda within which information and communication technology today is considered to have a potential for sustainability, growth and development. According to the EU Commission, there are several important elements that should be improved to digitize the workplace. Among these are digital literacy, collaboration between agencies and increased investments in research, education and innovation. New technology can be understood in different ways by individuals, some see the computer as something positive and exciting, while others may find it hard to see the opportunities for learning and development.

Safety, its a word not commonly associated with elderly people living alone. There is however a device that is supposed to bring safety, and enable elderly people to continue living in their present household - an emergency dialer. However these devices does not serve their own purpose in terms of design. Thepurpose of this study is to create an emergency dailer that everybody would want to put on their wrist or bedside table. The market for these devices have looked the same for the last twentyfive years, despite of society´s advancements in both design and technology.

Idag vet man att närstående utför betydande insatser inom vården och omsorgen och att deras insatser bedöms vara tidsmässigt mycket större än från den offentliga vården. Att vara närstående till någon som är sjuk är en upplevelse som är unik för varje enskild individ. Upplevelsen av isolering, att behöva ignorera sina egna känslor och kämpa för sin egen överlevnad kan uppstå hos de närstående som vårdar en sjuk i hemmet.Syfte: Att belysa närståendes upplevelser av palliativ hemsjukvård.Metod: En litteraturöversikt har gjorts baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar som granskats och analyserats. De databaser som använts vid artikelsökningen är Cinahl plus with Full Text, PubMed samt Medline with full text med sökorden Family, Palliative home care, Experiences och Sweden.

Bakgrund: HIV/AIDS är idag en sjukdom som varit känd för oss i snart tre decennier. Synen på människor som har HIV har förvisso ändrats. Trots förändringar upplever personer med HIV fortfarande negativa attityder, diskriminering och socialt utanförskap både ute i samhället och inom sjukvården. Vid en närmare granskning av litteraturen visar det sig att attityder och rädslor finns kvar mot personer med HIV även hos sjukvårdspersonal. Syfte: Att undersöka sjuksköterskestudenters attityder till personer med HIV.

Something that plays a role in people?s outdoor life and prevents them from spending time outside is the lack of time, the technique of today and the feeling off insecurity.

Death is the only experience we know we will come across in our lives. Yet it is so difficult to speak about death and the sorrow before and after death occurs. The aim of this literature study was to find out how as a general nurse one can help relatives to handle their situation in mourning. The question was: How does the nurse feel when confronted with mourning relatives? What measures and caring should the nurse take to alleviate the handling of the relatives in mourning? After scrutiny and critical analysis of ten scientific papers, some common denominators have remained.

The main focus for this essay is to describe the relationship between human and nature through a material investigation that takes its shape through sculpture. With the help of a fairytale-like story the reader can share the creation of the sculpture and how my thoughts flow through the process that will result in an exam project. Rooted in earlier projects I discuss the crash between civilization and the wilderness as well as talking about the likeness of the creative process and child play. Uppsatsen är gjord som en systematisk litteraturstudie med en kvalitativ ansats där nio artiklar analyserades. Litteraturstudiens syfte var att beskriva patientens upplevelse av att befinna sig i den sena fasen av den palliativa vården. Vårt resultat visade att patienter som befinner sig i den palliativa vården ville ha kontroll över livet, uppleva trygghet och värderade saker annorlunda. Trygghet upplevdes t.ex. när patienter kunde vårdas i det egna hemmet.

Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka hur buller påverkar sjukhusmiljön med hänseende på vårdpersonal och patienter. Studiens avsikt omfattar även en undersökning av vårdpersonalens och patienters eventuella olika uppfattningar angående buller. Effekterna av buller och dess omfattning inom vårdavdelningsmiljön har också undersökts. Resultatet av studien visar på att bullermiljön på sjukhus överskrider de riktlinjer för buller som WHO fastslagit. Vidare visar studien på indikationer på att brittiska sjuksköterskors kunskap angående fenomenet buller är bristfällig.
