Alzheimers sjukdom är mycket vanligt förekommande sett ur både ett internationellt och nationellt perspektiv. Ungefär 90 000 personer har diagnosen Alzheimers i Sverige. För att sjuksköterskan ska kunna ge god och adekvat vård behöver patientens upplevelse av sjukdomen uppmärksammas. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa patientens upplevelse av första fasen vid Alzheimers sjukdom. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt där tolv vetenskapliga artiklar bearbetades och analyserades för att sedan utgöra resultatet.

Bakgrunden till föreliggande studie är att stroke är en av Sveriges stora folksjukdomar och afasi kan uppkomma som komplikation. Detta kan medföra problem vid kommunikationen och vårdrelationen kan bli lidande. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa vårdrelationen med strokedrabbad patient med afasi ur ett vårdarperspektiv. Studien grundade sig på sex vetenskapliga artiklar som granskades genom innehållsanalys inspirerad av Burnards (1991) analysmetod. Analysen resulterade i tre huvudgrupper med undergrupper vilka belyser olika aspekter för att skapa en god vårdrelation.

Bakgrund: Stroke är en av de mest förekommande sjukdomarna i västvärlden och innefattar en stor grupp patienter. Poststroke depression är den vanligaste komplikationen efter insjuknande i stroke och är underbehandlat och underdiagnostiserat. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor kan identifiera tidiga tecken på depression hos patienter som överlevt stroke. Metoden som vi använt är en litteraturstudie med artikelgranskning. Analysen vi använt oss av är en innehållsanalys baserad på Graneheim och Lundmans (2003) beskrivning.

The purpose of this essay was to analyze if and how teenagers think about immigrants and Swedes, the relationship between them and to find out where these thoughts originate from. The essay consisted of four main questions; do the teenagers think in terms of immigrants and Swedes? How do the teenagers reason in terms of who is an immigrant and who is Swedish? What do they think about the relationship between immigrants and Swedes? Where do these opinions originate from?The study was based on eight interviews conducted with teenagers born in 1987. Our conclusion of the study was that it is not easy to determine who is Swedish and who is not. It was clear in this study though that looks and behaviour were utterly important.

Palliativ vård strävar efter att förebygga och lindra lidande för patienten som är drabbad av livshotande sjukdom. Det handlar om att lindra den fysiska smärtan men i lika stor utsträckning den psykiska. Genom att vårdaren initierar och utvecklar en vårdande relation med patienten kan hon hjälpa denne att nå bästa möjliga livskvalitet under den tid som finns kvar. Detta är många gånger en svår uppgift. Denna studies syfte var att beskriva hur den vårdande relationen framträder i vårdandet av patienter i den palliativa vården.

This report addresses the growing need to adapt the medical healthcare to the new possibilities that can be accomplished by incorporating a web aspect to the personal treatment plans of patients. Bakgrund: Aktuell forskning har exempelvis visat att patienter som drabbats av en stroke och fått massage under tiden på sjukhuset förbättrat sin förmåga att genomföra aktiviteter i det dagliga livet snabbare än kontrollgruppen.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av mjuk massage inom sjukvården.Metod: Litteraturöversikten baseras på tio kvalitativa och en kvantitativ artikel vilka har funnits i databasen Cinahl. Fribergs analysmetod har använts i analysdelen. Sökorden var: touch, experience, care, touching, patient, nursing, nurs*, massage, tactile, tactile massage, soft tissue massage och aromatherapy. I diskussionen kopplas resultatet till den teoretiska utgångspunkten som är Katie Erikssons omvårdnadsteori, samt det vårdvetenskapliga konsensusbegreppet vårda.Resultat: I resultatet framkom fyra teman varav ett har två underteman. I första temat, Relationen till massören, beskrivs patientens relation och känslor gentemot massören.

Title: Register now and stay in touch ? a study about the relationship between CRM-system and business performance.Purpose: The purpose with the study is to identify if there is a positive relationship between CRM-system and business performance in Swedish multinational companies in the industrial sector.Audience: This essay is addressed to the Swedish multinational companies in the industrial sector.Methodology/ Approach / Design: We have applied a qualitative method, with a deductive approach. Through an in-depth interview with the case company Benzlers AB, which provided the empirical basis, supplemented with the CSI-values.Conclusion: The study has presented evidence, that there is a positive relationship between CRM-system and business performance which has been confirmed by the positive increase in the CSI-value after the implementation of the CRM-system.Originality/ Value/ Contribution to knowledge The study contributes with its own results that fill in the knowledge gap about the subject in Sweden. The study finds that the CRM-system effectives the interaction with the customer and thereby business performance increase, with the CSI-value as unit. This therefore increases the value and importance of investigation of Swedish multinational companies, whose purpose is to satisfy the customer and at the same time, increase the business performance.Future research: For future research we suggest publishers to base the empirical basis through additional in-depth interviews with added case companies. Summary:Teenage girls? choice of dropping out or complete a treatment.The purpose of this study is to investigate, from a client?s perspective, why teenage girls (age 13 to 17) drop-out or complete a treatment at Familjehuset in Karlstad, Sweden. We also want to investigate if the teenage girls? experiences coordinate with the social workers opinion of why the teenage girls choose to drop-out or complete the treatment. Earlier research shows that many factors influence the client?s choice.

Background:In Sweden there are several thousand surgical procedures performed every day. The treatment is expected to be efficient, profitable and safe. Despite that, complications occur in 3-16 % of the surgical procedures. To prevent this, WHO has developed a surgical safety checklist containing safety issues to give the surgery team an opportunity to a last control that everything has been properly done. The profession of the surgical nurse focuses mainly on patient safety especially regarding hygiene and sterility.Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate and describe the perceptions of the perioperative nurses regarding WHO: s surgical safety checklist.Method:To test the suitability of the method a pilot study was performed where tree operating room nurses were interviewed and the data was analyzed using qualitative content analysis.Results: Four categories emerged; Increased patient safety, enhanced team spirit, good planning, stronger professional role.Discussion: The result from the study showed positive perceptions regarding the surgical safety checklist, a fact known from earlier research.Conclusion: The results of the pilot study showed that surgical nurses had good support in their work when the surgical safety checklist was used..

ABSTRACTProblems with high turnover in nursing has escalated during the last years both nationally and internationally. according to previous research job satisfaction and quality of care was connected to specific features of the hospital work environement. It was also recommended by Coomber & Barriball (2007) to analyze job satisfaction at ward level with qualitative interviews to get a deeper and more extended insight in which specific features are of importance.The aim of this study was to investigate and describe the experiance of job satisfaction in relation to quality of care from nurses perspective. This study was carried out at an orthopaedic ward with primary nursing as organizational context of care.Two focus group interviews were conducted, they comprised nine nurses with at least two years experiance of primary nursing. A qualitative content analysis with inductive approach was used in order to develop more detailed insights of potential factors influencing work satisfaction at ward level.

SF-12 was administered before and one month after patient education (intervention group; n= 48), and in waiting list control (n= 48).

We have investigated the visual representation of men and women in Aftonbladet?s weight site. We have made a calculation of how many of the women and the men who were portrayed smiling/ not smiling, active/passive, looking into the camera/looking away from the camera and from which camera angle the picture is taken. We also kept statistic on the gender representation of the authors of the articles.Our investigation shows that Aftonbladet?s weight site has a distinct overrepresentation of women on their pictures, but also in terms of the authors of the articles.
