En av sjuksköterskans uppgifter efter en patients död är att finnas som stöd för patientens närstående. Sjuksköterskan ska hjälpa dem att bearbeta sorgen och bidra till en känsla av meningsfullhet. Detta kan vara en krävande arbetsuppgift och det är en utmaning för sjuksköterskan att inte involvera sig allt för mycket känslomässigt. Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda på hur sjuksköterskan hanterar sorgen som kan kännas efter en patients död. Metoden som användes för att uppnå syftet var en litteraturöversikt med avsikt att få en överblick över forskningsområdet.

Bakgrund: Varje år drabbas ca 300 barn av cancer som är den vanligaste dödsorsaken hos barn i Sverige. Hela familjen påverkas av detta under lång tid. En säker och trygg vardag ersätts med ständig strävan om överlevnad, att både barnet och familjen ska ta sig igenom denna period av rädsla, kaos och hjälplöshet. Syfte: Att beskriva föräldrar och syskons upplevelser av att ha ett cancersjukt barn i familjen. Metod: Litteraturstudie av vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats.

Kontaktsjuksköterska är ett begrepp som innebär en kontaktperson i vården för patienter med sjukdom. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen hos personer med cancer av att ha en kontaktsjuksköterska.. Elva vetenskapliga studier analyserades med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys.

An important reason why people join these groups and organizations is to share their experiences, meet people in a similar situation and get support. Social media is nowadays an important part of our society. In this study, we will focus on investigating the interaction in closed communities online and blogs. The study aims to investigate whether social media and social networks online can be a support for young adults with cancer in the same way as physical meeting places.

Background: Nosocomial infections pose a big threat to patient safety and increased costs for society. An effective way of preventing cross-infections is to apply hygiene routines. Studies show that compliance to hygiene routines is low while there's a lack of knowledge about the best way of improving it. Aim: To investigate whether a conversation based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) could influence a nurse's compliance to hygiene routines and whether it could benefit the understanding of a nurse's compliance. Method: A quantitative and qualitative method was used in the study and included one nurse.

Metod: Studien baserades på vetenskapliga artiklar och hade en kvalitativ ansats. Artikelsökningar genomfördes i databaserna Cinahl och Elin. Resultat: Genom analys av de vetenskapliga studierna framkom att det finns en mångfald i hur personer med cancer upplever bemötandet av vårdpersonal. De flesta patienter vill vara delaktiga i beslutstaganden men i olika utsträckning. Slutsats: Varje patient har en unik upplevelse av bemötandet från vårdpersonalen, och att varje möte måste anpassas efter individen..
