This Thesis in Military Technology deals with experiences drawn from the forced introduction of Weapons Station 01, 2009. The work aims to identify the experiences regarding the forced procurement of military equipment to see how they can develop normal and fast procurement of equipment. The main conclusions of this work, is to achieve greater capability and increase the military utility, are: -         Common objectives and priorities of stakeholders-         Response and joint types shall determine requirements for system-         Ensure an integrated project team also at lower levels-         Engage the integrated logistic support early in the materiel process-         Include Armed Forces staff as early as possible in the testing and validation-         Prioritize work to facilitate the rapid development of decision on use (BOA)-         Provide back up for increased redundancy in the mission area .

The aim of this study is to examine which factors in a traffic wardens? situation at work that promote and which that inhibit satisfaction at work. The aim of this study is also to examine if there are any differences in the work experiences for traffic wardens that work alone versus those who work in a team of two. The following questions are examined in the study:?Which factors promote and which factors inhibit the work situation for traffic wardens??Are there any differences between traffic wardens that work alone and those who work with another colleague?The selection consisted of eight traffic wardens, of which four of them work with another colleague while the other four work by themselves.

During the emergence of social work, women have been considered to hold greater competence in social relations. Approximately 80% of social workers in Sweden are women, which leaves men in a minority. Men are considered to have advantages in female-dominated professions because of their unique and desirable abilities. This paper aims to adress men's underpresentation in the female-dominated social work profession. The purpose is to explore the attitudes and experiences of men working in a minority group.
Minecraft i klassrummet : En kvalitativ studie om elevers och lärares upplevelser av Minecraft i undervisningen
The purpose of this study was to investigate pupils' and teachers' experiences of using the simulator computer game Minecraft in connection with the Swedish school competition Future City. The study examines how students (ages 14-15) and teachers have experienced the use of Minecraft, what the students have learned in relation to everyday education and the different forms of education during Future City and also examine which patterns that exists in the experiences of the students, with personal interest of and knowledge of Minecraft as a benchmark. The study was conducted through individual semi-structured interviews with both students and teachers. The analysis of the results is based upon a theoretical perspective that includes a socio-cultural view of learning, as well as the lines of reasoning in previous research about computer games and learning. As a general approach towards the study, and in a way, a justification of the chosen research method, a hermeneutic approach was used.

This essay examines how a group of five youths? self identities are affected by unemploy-ment, contact with the social services and by labour market interventions. In Sweden youth employment has been regarded as a social problem. Arbetslinjen that could be translated into the work model or the work line influences and is a necessity for the Swedish welfare system. With a hermeneutic scientific philosophical position the method used to examine this has been to interview the youths, in the age of 18-25, individually.

Syftet med denna studie var att, utifrån litteraturen, redogöra för vilka faktorer som patienter, anhöriga och sjuksköterskor anser viktiga i den palliativa vården i hemmet. Artikelsökning på vetenskapliga artiklar gjordes i databaserna Pub Med och AcademicSearchElite. En begräns-ning gjordes på årtalen 1999 ? 2007 och olika sökordskombinationer användes utifrån sökor-den palliative care, nursing at home, caregivers, need a nurse at home, quality of life, rehabili-tation och advanced nurse. Exklusionskriterier var artiklar som inkluderade barn och AIDS-sjuka.

Anstaltspersonals erfarenheter och påverkan av hot och våld på arbetet : en kvalitativ studie
The aim of this paper was to describe the phenomenon of threats and violence within a Swedish penal institution. The study was thematized according to the three main research questions. These were as follows; The threats and violence prison staff have experienced in their workplace (I) how these experiences affected them in their work performances (II) and in their private life (III). By a qualitative design, in-depth interviews were carried out with four persons who are, or formerly have been, gainfully employed at a penal institution. Concepts from the theory of symbolic interactionism and a theory of human action have been used in the analysing process of this paper.
Undervisning till patienter med diabetes typ 2.Faktorer som påverkar resultatet av egenvården- En systematisk litteraturstudie
Syftet med studien var att belysa vilka faktorer i patientundervisningen som kan påverka resultatet av egenvård för patienter med diabetes typ 2 samt att kartlägga gruppundervisningens betydelse och dess innehåll. Studien baseras på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar daterade från år 1991 och fram till år 2003. Litteraturen har sökts manuellt och via databaserna PubMed, SweMed och Elsevier. Sökorden som använts i olika kombinationer var: education, diabetes type 2, support, obesity, self- management, changes lifestyle, factors affecting, empowerment, diabetes nurse, nurse, individually, group, diabetes typ 2, stöd, sjuksköterska, undervisning och egenvård. Urvalet av de vetenskapliga artiklarna gjordes med tanke på litteraturstudiens syfte och frågeställningar.
När vardagen vänds upp och ner : Sjuksköterskans stöd till föräldrar vars barn har fått en cancerdiagnos
I Sverige upptäcks varje år cirka 250 fall av cancer bland barn och ungdomar under 15 års ålder. Den tredje vanligaste mottagaren av vård i Sverige är barn, vilket innebär att föräldrar till ett barn med cancer påverkas negativt i vad gäller förvärvsarbete, ekonomi och livskvalitet. Föräldrarna tvingas konfronteras med flera fysiska, emotionella och psykosociala problem i samband med barnets behandling. I denna situation, då föräldrar tillsammans med sitt cancersjuka barn kommer i kontakt med hälso- och sjukvården skapas en ny livssituation för hela familjen. För att sjuksköterskan ska vara ett gott stöd i omvårdnaden av barnet, är det relevant att belysa föräldrars upplevelser för att förstå vilka behov som finns.
Välfärd - ett begrepp i förändring : En diskursanalys av LSS
In this thesis, the results of a survey regarding grade progression between secondary and upper secondary school in a municipality in the north of Sweden serve as the starting point for a study of the experiences and expectations of a number of 16 year old girls who are in the first year of upper secondary school. The study is performed by means of focus group interviews with female pupils from the three largest upper secondary schools in said municipality in an attempt to gauge their experiences of grades, grade assessment, teacher practices and perceived differences in how boys and girls are treated. The results show that most of the girls are disappointed with upper secondary school so far. Many of them feel that secondary school was both more fun and more rewarding in a sense of learning. Their appreciation of how this more rewarding atmosphere affected their grades differed between the various groups.
