The purpose of this essay is to compare the works of Jalal ad-din Rumi and Fakhr al-dinAraqi to see which ideas of God the two writers want to convey. Rumi and Araqi weretwo actors in the mystical dimension of Islam, who lived in the thirteenth century inwhat is today Turkey. Both were of Persian birth and their works were written inPersian.The material I have chosen to work with is Lama´at by Araqi and parts of theMasnavi by Rumi. Both of them have been translated into Swedish by Ashk Dahlén.The theoretical premiss is taken from Influence in art and literature by GöranHermerén. My method is to find images for God in the texts to see which ideas of Godthe two writers want to convey.My review shows that many of the images come from the Koran and speak ofpersonal qualities of God.

Utredningen har sitt ursprung i ett uppdrag givet av Försvarsmakten till FHS att utreda formernaför studerandeinflytande i officersutbildningssystemet med anledning av att FHS även fått programansvarför yrkesofficersutbildningen.Syftet har varit att lämna ett förslag på ett för hela officersutbildningen sammanhållet system förstuderandeinflytande och en plan för dess implementering.Utredningen har huvudsakligen genomförts som en kvalitativ analys av författningar, styrdokumentoch aktuella arbetshandlingar. En värdering av FHS rådande system för studerandeinflytandehar också genomförts. Vidare innehåller en utredningen en fallstudie av hur studerandeinflytandetär organiserat vid ett civilt lärosäte med distribuerad utbildning.Utredningens förslag omfattar ett system för studerandeinflytande som har såväl en lokal somcentral dimension. De studerande i officersutbildningssystemet bör organiseras i en riksomfattandegemensam studentkår som inledningsvis utgår från Studentkåren FHS. Förslaget innebäräven att studerandeinflytandet framgent främst skall utövas i de organ i linjeorganisationen sombereder och beslutar i frågor som berör utbildningen och de studerandes situation.De förtroendevalda vid FM skolor och FHS skall ges möjlighet att under hösten 2006 konstituerasig.

Det här examensarbetet är utfört som ett uppdrag åt Byggteknik AB.Problematiken som examensarbetet behandlar är att förstärka en pelaresom är inbyggd i en i övrigt färdig vägg. Anledningen tillförstärkningen kan till exempel vara att en felaktig dimension av enpelare byggs in i väggen. Förstärkningsåtgärden kommer att bestå avatt plåtar med olika storlek och utsträckning längs med pelaren svetsasfast, vilket ger en ökad stabilitet och bärförmåga hos en pelare.Arbetets huvudmoment har bestått av litteraturstudier för attundersöka olika tillvägagångssätt att räkna på pelarens stabilitet ochbärförmåga, samt beräkningar utifrån valda metoder. Det här har letttill resultat som redogör för den relativa skillnaden mellan olikaförstärkningssätt och påverkan av olika lastförutsättningar.De slutsatser som kan dras av studien är att då enbart små förbättringarav pelarens bärförmåga krävs, så rekommenderas en förstärkning sominte löper hela vägen längs med pelaren. Den här rekommendationeninnebär att arbetsinsatsen och materialkostnaden hålls nere.Studien visar att om man vill nå en så hög bärförmåga som möjligt så ären förstärkning som sträcker sig längs med hela pelaren mer effektiv.Bärförmågan per kubikmillimeter förstärkningsmaterial blir då högre..

Lyckebo farm is the original name of the four building big farm, where year 2000, the former farmer established Maglarp/ Lyckebo golfcourse on his land of culture. In 2007, new owners are approaching the Maglarps golfcourse with thoughts of expanding the business. A first step in that direction is to form the area of the entrance, the specific area the visitors are staying at before entering the actual golfcourse to play. The designproposal is inspired by the peasant garden history of southern Sweden during the nineteenth centuary. It also aims to satisfy the demands of function and usefullness of a golfcourse today.

This essay describes and compares the extensive reindeer management to the more intensive, but grazing based, sheep management system in Sweden. Differences and similarities between the two production systems will be investigated by elucidating the economy, land use and possibilities to influence production and economy through breeding, feeding and product development. The reindeer management area covers the northern part of Sweden whilst the sheep management is dispersed over the country. Both reindeer and sheep are ruminants and have relatively high demands on the quality and digestibility of the feed however reindeers graze on mountain-and forest lands whilst sheep often graze inaccessible areas or cultivated grasslands. Selection intensity is generally lower in the reindeer management compared to the intensity in sheep breeding.

This master's thesis aims to study the relationship between two publiclibraries and Berättarministeriet, a foundation that offers free writingworkshops for children in areas with high levels of unemployment. Theworkshops are located in spaces that formerly belonged to the libraries.Questions posed in this thesis are How can the relationship between thelibraries and Berättarministeriet be described?, Why did the relationship turnout differently in the two places? and How does the library see itself, inrelation to Berättarministeriet?The theories used are Ögland's taxonomy for relationships between librariesand local organizations, and Folkesson's theory on interaction betweendifferent professional groups, and this was studied through interviews. Theresults showed a relationship without much interaction, beyond a "handover"of children from one place to the other, with time and shortness of staff beingcontributing factors to the low level of collaboration. Regarding the differentrelationships in the two places the results were not conclusive, butnevertheless showed tendancies of issues in the legitimacy dimension, fromthe library towards Berättarministeriet.

Varje dag insjuknar mellan femton till tjugo kvinnor i bröstcancer i Sverige. På senare år har det skett en ökning av sjukdomen som forskarna ännu inte vet orsaken till. För varje kvinna som drabbas av bröstcancer innebär det en total förändring av hennes liv. För vårdpersonal som möter dessa kvinnor är det viktigt att tänka på att kvinnorna vanligtvis befinner sig i någon krisreaktion. Under mötet är kommunikationen grundläggande för förståelsen mellan människor.

Vole populations in northern Scandinavia vary in cycles with peaks every third or fourth year as described by the National Environmental Monitoring Programme of small mammals (NEMP). Some vole species have declined in population numbers since the NEMP started in 1971, especially the grey-sided vole (Myodes rufocanus) which is nearly extinct in the forested region. Since small mammals are an important food source for several avian and mammalian predators, the decline in vole numbers is expected to have consequences for the whole food chain, especially if other vole species start to decline in numbers. This study tried to test the hypothesis that presence and abundance of M. rufocanus (a specialist species) and Myodes glareolus (a generalist species) can be predicted by patch size and connectivity of forest patches >60 years old with a minimum of 15% pine >100years old.

The purpose of this master thesis is to implement and validate a Power System Stabilizer (PSS) to a generator at Trängslet hydropower station in Dalarna, Sweden. Problems with local rotor oscillations can occur at the hydropower station when power is transferred on a new power line (130 kV) from Northern to Southern part of Dalarna. To ensure good operation properties on this power line Fortum Generation AB and Fortum Distribution AB wants to activate a PSS on a generator.There have been investigations in which situations and what equipment that contributes to rotor oscillations. When this is known the PSS is tuned to damp these oscillations by choosing a good set of parameters. The most important parameters for good performance are to choose amount of gain and phase compensation.

Uppsatsen behandlar informationsoperationer från en operativ synvinkel. Teorianknytningen görs gentemotmanöverteorin, med dess delmängd manöverkrigföring. Syftet med uppsatsen är att besvara vilka förmågor tillinformationsoperationer som finns i Försvarsmakten idag samt vilka möjligheter de skapar för framtiden medfokus på år 2010. Detta exemplifieras genom ett scenario, en strategisk typsituation, där uppsatsen svarar påhur dessa förmågor skall användas som en del i striden i en fiktiv fredsframtvingande insats inom ramen förEU: s krishanteringsstyrka.Utifrån de förmågor som redan finns idag och som har vidareutvecklats fram till år 2010 skapas förslag till attutveckla ytterligare förmågor. Med den strategiska typsituationen som fond föreslås att en förbättrad förmågatill psykologiska operationer och nätverksattacker bör skapas.

Background: Performance measurement as a management control tool has received considerable academic attention. As the number of inter-organisational relationships, such as customer-supplier relationships, increases, there is a new scope for performance measurement as a management control tool. In order for a company to assess the effectiveness of its supplier relationships it has to define, measure and evaluate variables that are critical for the success of the relationship. The role of management control, and thereby of performance measurement, has increasingly been discussed in theory. However, empirical research in this area is still somewhat limited.

The castle Vivesholm is located about two miles north of Klintehamn on the west side of Gotland. The castle was built around year 1395 and burned down in the end of the 14thcentury. Around the 17th and the 18th century the castle was re-used. However, the emphasis on its use is during the middle ages.This paper aims at getting an insight in the animal husbandry at Vivesholm by analyzing the osteological material. The analysis revealed that bones from sheep/goat were more common than bones from cattle.

Research where personality in animals is studied is becoming more and more common. In this area there are different concepts like behavioural syndrome and animal personality and they usually talk about consistency in behaviour over time and situations. This consistent individual behaviour can be used as an indicator of how individuals can handle and adjust to new situations in the environment. Because of this, personality studies in animals are very important in animal welfare. In this study personality in dairy cattle in lose housing were studied.

Risk-based sampling program of microorganisms in the water source in northern SwedenAfter several disease outbreaks caused by parasites in the drinking water during the last years, it is more essential than ever to insure that the water supply companies have enough barriers to counteract the presence of microorganisms in the outgoing water. It is also discussed whether climate changes such as increased precipitation can have a connection to the increased cases of parasites in water sources. The water source at Gäddvik is Luleå municipality?s largest and provides drinking water to 64 500 of Luleå?s 74 000 inhabitants. The investigation of microorganisms in the water source, especially in the Lule River has not been as prioritized as the sampling of chemical parameters.
