My study was conducted to provide a deeper understanding of the identity of employee soldiers in the armed forces and their experience of their role in the military context. To describe and identify the soldier's identity formation, values and norms working in group processes are taken into account. As the individual identifies her or himself whit the group, the various phenomena as hostility to other military groups arise. The individuals weld together with other group members to form strong normative relationships within the group. Through a qualitative research approach eight soldiers in a regiment in western Sweden were interviewed, four of them were group executives or deputy group leaders and others were ordinary soldiers.

The public health care sector has come under increasing pressure to cut down costs, maximize productivity and satisfy patients' needs during the 1990s and onwards. As a way of "getting more for less" quality management has been introduced. Originating in the private manufacturing industry, quality management has a strong focus on productivity and efficiency, aspects which are measured in quantitative terms. However, there are strong concerns that quality management is a means of speeding up the marketization of public health care by introducing core values much different from the ethic and medical norms that traditionally underpin health care organizations.This essay focuses on how quality management has been introduced to, and transformed by, public health care. A theoretical framework based on new institutionalism is constructed, and translation theories are used as a way of illustrating how the medical institutional environment, in fact, changes the concept of quality management.

The Swedish implementation of Agenda 21 is a result of these local governments´ political agendas and policies.The purpose with this paper is to examine the relationship between the citizen and the local government. It focuses on three theories of citizenship and how the view of "the environmental aware citizen?; in the local government?s municipalities policies differ and from which theory of citizenship do they come from.The analysis is of a valuing and comparing nature. At Emergency Admissions at Sahlgrenska University´Hospital many systems are in use at the same time and it happens that much overhead is caused by having to fill in the same information in different places. In addition, data that is gathered is to a large extent saved in free text format, which means that it cannot be used in a larger context such as research, quality control or for decision support. Data is saved in the patient file only for the treatment process of the individual patient.A data collecting system with decision support functionality could be a first step towards reducing Emergency Admissions? costs and patients? waiting times by providing a structured method of data collection.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda på om ett tidslinjegränssnitt är ett lämpligt sätt att visualisera personlig data på för vidare utveckling inom projektet A4Cloud. Uppsatsens målgrupp är huvudsakligen medlemmar i A4Cloud men är även intressant för personer med intresse för personlig data eller tidslinjegränssnitt.För att uppnå detta syfte skapades en prototyp över detta användargränssnitt med begränsad funktionalitet för att utföra tester på, för denna studie testades användargränssnittet på datorskärmar. Användningstester med observation gjordes på prototypen med åtta testpersoner för att få fram information om hur användare uppfattade prototypen.Enligt resultaten kan tidslinjekonceptet bli väldigt omtyckt och enkelt att använda. Det finns definitivt skäl till vidareutveckling av detta koncept. Även vissa brister i konceptet och prototypen hittades.
