The intention of this thesis is, from a basic statistical viewpoint, to capture the relationship between the price of electricity and a sample of factors influencing the price. The thesis also aims at investigating whether knowledge about the relationship is useful when investing on Nord Pool. Tested factors are temperature, import, price of emission rights as well as a number of hydrological factors. The investigated period stretches from year 2000 until week 32 year 2007. The relevance of each factor was also evaluated yearly as well as for shorter periods in order to get a more comprehensive view of the relationship.

Bakgrund och problem: De senaste åren har det blivit allt större fokus på immateriella tillgångar, specifikt intellektuellt kapital. Problemet är att intellektuellt kapital inte uppfyller alla de kriterier som krävs för att få tas upp som en immateriell tillgång i balansräkningen. Företag måste därför hitta andra vägar att redovisa sitt intellektuella kapital för att bemöta intressenternas informationsbehov samt legitimera sitt börsvärde. Idag sker detta genom frivillig upplysning i årsredovisningen då inget specifikt regelverk finns tillgängligt.Syfte: Syftet är att få kunskap om utvecklingen av redovisat intellektuellt kapital i svenska bolag, samt få kunskap om det finns skillnader mellan tjänsteinriktade bolag och produktionsinriktade bolag.Metod: Med hjälp av datorbaserad innehållsanalys studeras tio bolag på Nasdaq OMX Nordic Stockholm för perioden 2008-2012. Sökord har med hjälp av relevant litteratur framtagits och används för att analysera redovisningen av intellektuellt kapital.Resultat & slutsatser: Resultatet visar att det har skett en ökning av redovisningen inom intellektuellt kapital på Nasdaq OMX Nordic Stockholm.

Research Question: Does the pharmacy market seem to change in accordance with the goals stipulated by the government due to the reregulation?This leads to the following sub-questions:Does it seem like the availability of medical drugs for consumers increase?Does it seem like service for consumers get enhanced?Does it seem like the supply of services for consumers increase?Does it seem like the costs of medical drugs are maintained?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the trends resulting from the reregulation of the pharmacy monopoly correspond to the goals stipulated by the government.The purpose is furthermore to compare the reregulation of other Swedish markets and the reregulation of the pharmacy market in other Nordic countries in order to heed their lessons.Method: This study uses method triangulation, with a questionnaire directed to pharmacy customers forming the quantitative basis and interviews with specialists regarding the pharmacy market, forming the qualitative. The study also draws heavily on historic data regarding reregulation of Swedish markets and reregulation of the pharmacy market in other Nordic countries.Conclusions:Availability of medical drugs has increased and will presumably continue to do so. Service quality has increased somewhat and will presumably continue to do so.Supply of services has increased and it will presumably continue to do so.The cost of medical drugs will only increase if it is required in order to satisfy the other goals.  .

SammanfattningI dagens samhälle är bilkörning en viktig aktivitet för många individer. Att köra bil påverkar individens möjligheter till meningsfulla aktiviteter och självständighet. Efter att en person har fått en stroke kan personens körkort bli ifrågasatt. Ett vanligt bedömningsinstrument som arbetsterapeuter använder vid bedömning av kognitiv lämplighet inför fortsatt körkortsinnehav är Nordic Stroke Driver Screening Assessment (NorSDSA).Syftet med denna kvantitativa studie var att jämföra parvisa NorSDSA-bedömningars resultat mellan äldre friska individer och äldre individer med stroke. Sex friska äldre individer matchades med sex äldre individer med stroke avseende ålder och kön.

Roseroot (R. rosea L.) has gained more attention the last years, mainly because of its phy-topharmacologic properties. Even though many reports in roseroot have been published, only a few articles are dealt with the genetic diversity. The Nordic Genetic Resource Center has collected Roseroot material from Sweden, Greenland and Faroe Islands under different expeditions. The samples were analysed to study the genetic diversity study.

Purpose/Aim: To create a communication strategy for PADI Nordic with the intention of getting Swedish divers, who have been certified abroad, to Swedish dive centers.Material/Method: The study is based on a number of personal interviews conducted with a) divers who are active in Sweden, b) divers who are not active in Sweden and c) representatives from PADI and PADI affiliated dive centers.Main results: The main reason that people who have been certified abroad do not dive in Sweden is that they regard it as being too complicated, too cold, too expensive and with nothing interesting to see. These might partly be misconceptions that can be corrected through a communication strategic effort. The best way to change this perception is by two different forms of communication. One will go from PADI Nordic straight to the divers through an email. This will have the purpose of getting their attention, making diving sound interesting and raise their awareness in preparation for the other part of the process.

Bakgrund: Är den att en problemdiskussion har förts om själva beskattningen för vissadelägare som investerare i riskkapitalfonder det vill säga den om en carried interest.Skatteverket har specialgranskat sedan år 2007 de riskkapitalfonder som har någonanknytning till Sverige. Skatteverket har inriktat sig för sin granskning på hur den specifikadel av själva vinstdelningen som uppstår vid avyttring av ett portföljbolag skall beskattas,t.ex. Nordic Capital. Det vill säga till vilket inkomstslag skall man klassificera carried interesti. Avvägningen kommer att ske för carried interest mellan inkomstslagen inkomst av tjänsteller en inkomst av kapital.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att utvärdera huruvida redovisningsstandarden IAS 18påverkas av den gällande skatterätten.

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse the Chinese destination of Hainan, with background in a globalizing tourism destination development, for tourism from Finland and Sweden. The questions at issue are regarding what kind of an impact the status as a special economic zone have had upon Hainan, what kind of conditions there are for tourism on the island, in what form participants of the tourism industry want the development to proceed, what the prevailing trend is for distant destinations for Nordic markets and also regarding what kind of potential there is for organized tourism to Hainan from Finland and Sweden.As a foundation for the paper, I?ve composed a theoretical reference for knowledge of China, Hainan and the study of destinations. The sources of secondary kind are literature related to the subject. The primary sources are mainly interviews, field work done at Hainan has given a concrete and personal knowledge of the place.

Bakgrund: Av konkurrensskäl och p.g.a. krav på stor effektivitet och flexibilitet har många callcenterföretag problem med sin arbetsmiljö där inte bara de fysiska (ex. bundenhet till dataskärmar etc.) men även psykosociala faktorer (starkt styrt och tidspressat arbetssätt) spelar viktig roll. Sjukskrivningsfrekvens och personalomsättning kan vara större än i många andra branscher. Ett av Linköpings största callcenterföretag har tidigare studerat dessa faktorer med egna medarbetarenkäter och valt nu att med annan metod, som beskrivs nedan, kartlägga den psykosociala arbetsmiljön på företaget.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka vilken effekt socialt stöd, arbetsrelaterad stress samt fysisk aktivitet har på individens välmående. Dessutom undersöktes vilken påverkan kön och ålder har på individens välmående. Karasek´s krav-kontroll-stödmodell utgjorde grund vid analys av resultatet (Karasek & Theorell, 1990). Studien utfördes på en organisation och bygger på en enkätundersökning (n=124) där bekvämlighetsurval användes. Mätinstrumentet består av fem delar som utgörs av demografiska faktorer, QPS-Nordic (Dallner, Lindström, Elo, Skogstad et al., 2000), MHC-SF (Keyes, 2009), PSS-14 (Cohen, Karmarck & Mermelstein, 1983) samt fysisk aktivitet.

Cultural relict plant species from the Nordic countries have been collected by the Nordic Genetic Resource Center (NordGen) for the purpose of conservation. To ensure high seed vitality in store, regular germination tests need to be conducted. It is important to get a correct viability status, but the knowledge of seed dormancy in the cultural relict plants is often poor. The objective of this study was to investigate how seed dormancy is affected by cold stratification. The study includes 31 accessions from 28 species with the purpose of establishing germination protocols.

Byggsektorn står för en stor del av energi- och materialanvändandet i Sverige idag och för att verka mot en mer hållbar byggsektor startades Bygga-bo-dialogen. Ett av dialogens åtaganden har varit att ta fram ett klassningssystem för byggnader; Miljöklassning av byggnader. Andra sätt att åskådliggöra produkters miljöbelastning är miljömärkningar såsom Svanenmärkning. Denna rapport tillämpar båda dessa sätt på ett småhus som kallas för Eco House och ska peka på skillnader och likheter mellan systemen. Svanenmärkning och miljöklassning ska utföras på Eco House för att se hur ekologiskt det egentligen är och förbättringsåtgärder ur synpunkten att göra Eco House mer ekologiskt skall undersökas.

Eco certification of small housesTo construct an environmental friendly building and show that as a company you care for the environment, is presently very attractive in the Swedish real estate market.This degree thesis covers the environmental certification called ?Svanenmärkning? the Swan, witch is the Swedish equivalent to the European standard ?the EU Flower?. It is concentrated on the certification process in small houses that the Swedish institute of standard, SIS, has presented. We have worked together with the company Faluhus witch is a Swedish producer of small family houses.Faluhus is located in the town of Borlänge, Dalarna and has produced family houses since the 1950:s. They have a great heritage born in the old Swedish mining culture, with great wooden mansions and country homes.

This essay is about how the aesir are used as an ideal image of the original Nordic aspects and as a symbol of heroism and pure strength. The main subject of this essay is to look at how this ideal of masculinity is represented in the art produced during the era of romantic nationalism. The choice of focusing on this era in particular is made due to the fact that it was during this time that the modern images of the aesir and the Vikings were made. The purpose of this study is to examine how the ideal of masculinity reflects upon the artistic interpretations of the Norse mythology in a selected group of art work produced during the 1800?s.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this essay is to analyze and discuss the razors? and tweezers? roles and dualism between them in the Nordic Bronze Age societies. This paper is an attempt to investigate what these little things can tell us about the people that were buried with them. For this purpose I have examined material of burial that consist of finds of razors respective tweezers and their connection with artefacts in the graves. I have done a comparative and contextual study together using quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate their roles and dualism.
