Background: An indisputable right for nurses is to have a safe and secure work environment so they can deliver a high quality care. To bring a clear definition of what threat and violence are, is an important part in the work to prevent threat and violence. One part of the problem is that the experience and understanding of threat and violence can be different from one person to another. Aim: The aim of this quality study was to emphasize Nurses experience of threat and violence at workplace. Method: The method used in this study was qualitative interviews in the sense to bring out the nurses experience.

BACKGROUND: The nurse profession is nursing care and that includes leading and educate co-worker. In north-east Skåne a nurse started a study circle about pain for nursing staff at housing for elderly. AIM: The aim of this study was to understand the nursing staffs understanding about the study circle as a resource for their work with analgesia among elderly after participating in the same. METHOD: A qualitative approach was used and collecting data was done by a semi-structured focus group interview and two individual semi-structured interviews. The data was analysed by content analyses.

Background: In 1994 came the general prescription law in force for the district nurses with specific training in pharmacology and pathology in Sweden. According to The National Board of Health and Welfare from 2004 follow-up of the use of the prescription law revealed that nearly half of the district nurses used their prescription once a week. According to previous research the district nurses and patients were positive to the district nurses administration of prescriptions. Doctors, contrariwise, were not as favorable to the district nurses administration of prescriptions. The responsibility of the heads of the health centers is to promote the district nurses to prescribe and make sure that it works in a satisfactory manner.

Metod: Som metod valdes en deskriptiv design med kvantitativa data. Ett frågeformulär har använts för att uppnå syftet med studien.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to deepen my knowledge in how teachers can teach pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and also find out how a co-operation with remedial teachers can look like.The study is based on qualitative interviews with two teachers and two remedialteachers.The study shows that the two teachers´ co-operation with the remedial teacher appeared to bedifferent. The teacher who had the longest work experience was the one of the two that had a co-operation with the remedial teacher, the other teacher who graduated in 2007 did not have any co operation at all with the remedial teacher.The study also showed that the teachers and the remedial teachers in the study had different opinions about what method to use for pupils with reading and writing disabilities, and that the LTG method was the one most frequently used .All the participants in the study agreed that reading and writing disabilities is a large area, andthat there is a large variety in difficulties among the students . Some of the difficulties the participants had experienced were problems with decoding, pupils that had problems with learning the letters..

Mulitresistent staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacteria that is resistent against penicillin, this makes it difficulte to treat. MRSA causes woundinfections and other seriouse conditions. If MRSA establishes in an hospital environment it often spreads fast. Common ways of spreading MRSA is through direct or indirect contact. The nurse should work according to guidelines, apply hygienic routines and prevent the spread of infections.

The aim was to identify if the veterinary nurse is as competent as the veterinaian in placing a nasoesophageal feeding tube. This essay is based on several interviews with both veterinary nurses and veterinaries. 16 persons were asked 4 short questions in conjunction with an intensive care/emergency and surgery congress in Gothenburg in February 2013. In addition 4 major hospitals that provided intensive care were asked to answer 5 more detailed questions, one answer from a veterinary and one answer from a veterinary nurse was requested.

Background:There are approximately 45 000 people in the ages over 65 years dies outside the health facilities of the hospitals in Sweden in every year. When foreign children first arrive to Sweden, the first contact they get with the local society is through primary school. Therefore, the primary school have the fundamental role to attend the foreign and their families.The teacher plan for primary schools (Lpfö98) make it very clear that children with foreign background are given the full support in their development in a multicultural society. The aim of this report is to investigate how two pre-school teachers and one school counselors? work with these newly arrived children in preschool to support their integration in the preschool.As the role of the primary school is so vital for children with foreign background in this new society, I would therefore like to take the opportunity to explore and show how meaningful the role is of teachers to integrate these children into the Swedish primary schools.In this report, the theory part is treated based on integration and on the schools suspension to multicultural backgrounds. For this report, I even stress the support of the primary school and how they meet the foreign children and their families.
