The complex, ever growing and changing environment, requires that today's organizations are dynamic and willing to change in order to stand competitive.This awareness has made change number one priority in almost all organizations' agenda.We live in a world that is constantly changing, yet many organizations fail to change successfully. When a change occurs in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, it immediately increases the complexity and the challenges of the change process.A complex situation may arise when, for example, partial outsourcing of the corporate information system infrastructure. Two of the most difficult challenges that organizations face today is to conduct a successful change process and managing the effect of a change, such as arising expectations. It is very common for change in an organization not to achieve the desired result or that they even fail. There may be a lot of reasons for these failures.

Women today feel that their urban surroundings are unsafe, and because of that they use different strategies to reduce the risk of being exposed to criminal acts towards them. The focus of this study is to develop an understanding of the insecure feeling that women feel and what that feeling might originate from. By using previous research and theories we have been able to incorporate a gender perspective on the study this because the gender role is central to understand women?s feelings of insecurity. The purpose of the study was to develop a deeper understanding of women?s sense of safety and insecurity.The central questions of the study are1.

The number of people of getting allergic symptoms is increasing and the reasons are considered to be many. The human have changed their habits and spend more time indoor. In combination with new building technologies where denser housing constructions and new materials this causes bad indoor climate contributes to a higher occurrence of allergiesThere are several courses of action to deal with this problem. One action is by choosing allergy-free interior surface materials. An allergy-free material emits low concentrations of harmful substances resulting in a great indoor air quality.

Arbetet är en teoristyrd fallstudie på Amiralen och Slottsbackens handelsområden, med syfte att undersöka möjligheten att skapa en trevligare visuell externhandelsmiljö med hjälp av förtätning och funktionsintegrering. För att göra detta jämför och förenas handelsperspektiv på platsen med kända stadsbyggnadsbegrepp. Arbetes teori grundar sig på Jane Jacobs syn på staden som centrum för mångfald, Joel Garreaus teoretiserande av externhandelscentrumen utifrån begreppet Edge Cities, samt en syn på den täta staden som en hållbar stad. För att skapa den mångfaldiga staden krävs en inplantering av olika funktioner med olika tidsscheman, så att gaturummet ständigt befolkas av en varierande sammansättning människor. Vid sidan av detta förespråkas små kvarter, en tät stad med hög koncentration av människor och en bebyggelse med blandad bebyggelse från olika tidsåldrar.

Several cities have implemented various projects to improve traffic safety in city centers.During 1970s and 1980s the city centers changed as the suburbs grew and large shopping centers were located outside the center. At the same time, several projects were initiated with construction of pedestrian streets and restriction of traffic in the center. In year 1994,shared-used areas were introduced in Sweden and these areas are often used in center environments.In Sweden, municipalities are responsible for integrating security in public places and in comprehensive plans and detailed development plans. The National Board of Housing,Building and Planning is the authority for administrating planning issues and develop general guidance about planning. Traffic is one of their key issues, although today there are no concrete guidelines from the National Board of Housing, Building and Planningfor the design of traffic safety in city centers.Traffic safety in city centers affects many people because the city center is a public place.It is therefore important that there are current guidelines available that are helpful for changes and improvements in traffic safety in the city center.The purpose of this report is to formulate guidelines for planning city centers from a traffic safety perspective.

In the centre of Bromma, east of Brommaplan is the part of Bromma named Riksby. Riksby was built in the early 1940:s as a part of the westward expansion of Stockholm. Other places that were built at the same time was for ex. Stora Mossen and Abrahamsberg. This work is about the outdoor environment of the housing co-operative of Brickbandet.

The aim of this paper is to empirically examine the ideological trends and positioning of the Swedish liberal party with the Danish social liberal party. This paper also aims to analyze the reasons behind the trends. By examine the development in these two Nordic liberal sisterparties, this paper contributes to our understanding of why and how party change is initiated. The paper commences with an intuitive notion that the Swedish party has in fact, made a lurch towards the right, during the past ten to fifteen years while the Danish party has retained their social-liberal position in the centre of the Danish political spectrum. The questions then asked are: can this hypothesis be verified empirically? If so, how can this phenomenon of divergence, be explained?The method used in this thesis is process-tracing and the empirical material does to a large extent rely on interviews with central agents as they are specified in the theory of each party.

Sölvesborg är en stad under expansion, dit lockas folk av en lantlig idyll nära havet. Sölvesborgs kommun har som mål att öka invånarantalet från 16 000 till 20 000 fram till år 2020. Kommunen äger fastigheten Hydro vilken är centralt belägen i Sölvesborg i anslutning till tågstationen. Idag används fastigheten Hydro till en parkeringsyta och kommunen vill att fastigheten ska planeras om för att bli en ny central knytpunkt i Sölvesborg som binder ihop tågstationen och förlänger centrumstråket. Detta examensarbete leder till färdiga förslagshandlingar för fastigheten.

Deciduous forests are, according to the National Environmental Quality Objectives, a priority area. Deciduous forests are rich in species and the occurrence of dead wood is an important factor for biodiversity. In order to identify valuable deciduous forests for bio-diversity, conservation needs good analyses and planning tools. Habitat models combined with geographic information systems can be used to study the spatial structure of suitable habitat. The Lesser spotted woodpecker (Dendrocopos minor) has been proposed as an indicator species for deciduous forests, since this species is highly specialized on insect larvae in dead wood and requires large areas of deciduous-rich environments. Many riparian forest with high species richness and high nature conservation values are found along the Ume river in Umeå municipality.

Platsen för projektet är bergskanten mellan Hornsbruksgatan och Högalidsparken på Södermalm i Stockholm. Platsen präglas av en stark tvåsidighet, mellan gata och park, som jag valt att ta fasta på i mitt projekt även i programmet. Många vill bo i Stockholms innerstad men få är priviligerade att faktiskt kunna göra det och därför har det varit viktigt för mig att bygga effektiva bostäder där bostadsytan kan användas effektivt för att fler ska få plats att bo i staden. Jag har ritat fyra hus där studenter och familjer med föränderliga behov av bostadsyta kan leva i symbios. Detta tack vare sina olikheter med olika krav och önskningar på bostaden.

The task was to design and manufacture a submersible displacement pump working with the wobble plate principle. The main task for the Wobble plate pump is to be used as a sewage pump for smaller households or dewatering pump in environments where small flows and high pressures are acquired. For these purposes ITT Flygt sell a screw pump, PC-Grinder 3068. The hydraulic part of the PC-Grinder is manufactured by a subcontractor. Therefore ITT Flygt wants to evaluate an alternative to their screwpump PC-Grinder, which can be entirely manufactured by them self.

A new type of chartered holiday, fitness holiday, has evolved during the last years and has also been mentioned in different media channels. Despite this, fitness holiday is a relatively new and unexplored phenomenon, which caught our interest to further explore this. The desire to travel on a holiday of this type has also increased. Therefore, a study about this particular phenomenon with focus on the traveler?s motives behind the choice to go has been done.It?s a qualitative study and most part of the data has been collected during a field study to Playitas Resort, Canary Islands.

Abstrakt Wikner, E. (2015). Förutsättningar för vuxnas lärande: En observationsstudie influerad av ramfaktorteorin. Högskolan i Gävle. Detta arbete är en observationsstudie med syfte att undersöka vilka förutsättningar för lärande är vid tre specifika lärandesituationer i samhället samt att undersöka hur förutsättningarna varierar beroende på vad det är man ska lära sig. Observationerna som gjordes var semi-strukturerade och genomfördes utifrån en observationsguide vid tre icke-formella lärandesituationer.

Detta kandidatarbete syftar till att undersöka vilka träd som kan vara aktuella vid en eventuell ersättning av hästkastanjerna vid Östra Ågatan i Uppsala. Arbetet syftar också till att förklara vilka komplikationer träd möter i dagens städer, såsom vattenbrist och markkompaktering. Delen rörande trädens förhållanden utfördes med hjälp av litteraturen Trees for tough urban sites av Henrik Sjöman och med hjälp av Tom Ericsson som specialiserar sig på botanik och ekologi. Jag besökte Östra Ågatan för att bekräfta vilka begränsningar träd i dagens städer har. För artval användes boken Stadsträd från A till Z av Rune Bengtsson, på grund av dess fokus på träd och stora artrikedom. Kriterier på storlek och tålighet som sattes upp hjälpte i urvalsprocessen och allvarliga trädsjukdomar togs i beaktande och därefter betygsattes trädens lämplighet. Jag erhöll resultaten att städer är ganska ogästvänliga platser för träd men att Östra Ågatan ändå är fullt acceptabel som växtplats.

Regnbäddar, eller Rain Gardens, är växtbäddar som både fördröjer och renar dagvatten och är ett sätt att efterlikna naturens eget sätt att rena vatten. Regnbäddar kan finnas i gatumiljö och samsas med fordon och trottoarer. Det kan även vara en vacker detalj i en villaträdgård. Klimatförändringarna ger oss kraftigare nederbörd under kortare perioder och kommer framöver att ge oss blötare vintrar och torrare somrar. Det traditionella dagvattensystemet som snabbt leder bort vatten från staden är omodernt och ineffektivt. Regnbädden tar hand om vattnet på plats och tillsammans med gröna tak, svackdiken och genomsläppliga markbeläggningar skapas ett uthålligt dagvattensystem.
