Avgörande faktorer vid affärsutbyten med Polen : en flerfallsstudie inom miljösektorn

Länsförsäkringar in Värmland, Sweden, had during the year 2003 a total level of 6.1 percent of people on the sick-list, which was higher than average in the business (4,5%) and for salaried employees in the private sector (3,3%). The average age of those put on sick-list was 47 years, whish is four years higher than the average for the whole LF-group. The cost for the total amount of people being on sick-list at LF-company (6,1%) was estimated to 1 500 kkr, according to a calculation model coming from Försäkringskassan. For every percent the sick level could be reduced, the company would save 239 kkr. To map out the state of health of each and every collaborator in LF, the company offered all employees to make a health profile at the company's health service, Clarahälsan AB.

Ett gott bemötande : Nyanställd vårdpersonals upplevelse av bemötandet vid arbetsintroduktionen

Att vara nyanställd är inte alltid förenat med glädje, bra självkänsla och trygghet, mycket av detta hänger på att bli bemött på ett trevligt och förtroendeingovande sätt. Efter att ha intervjuat nyanställd vårpersonal i kommunal verksamhet har detta visat sig vara än tydligare. Svårigheter i att ge ett gott bemötande kan förebyggas genom att säkerställa att övrig personal vet vad verksamheten förväntar sig att ge en nyanställd under arbetsintroduktionen och på så vis skapa trygghet för den som skall introduceras med även för den befintliga personalen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur den nyanställda vårdpersonalen har upplevt att de blivit bemötta under sin arbetsintroduktion och hur dett bemötande kan ha kommit att påverka deras självkänsla för fortsatt anställning. Utifrån Martin Bubers dialogpedagogik, Erving Goffmans teorier om interkationsritualer och George Herbert Meads teorier om symbolisk interaktionism har resultatet av studien analyserats.

Leadership in organizations plays a crucial role in promoting employee motivation. Different leadership styles have been shown to affect motivation in various ways. The purpose of this report is to establish a deeper understanding of the relationship between different leadership styles and motivation according to Self-Determination Theory. The report also aims to highlight potential similarities and differences in the perceptions of leaders and employees in various industries, regarding motivation as defined by Self-Determination Theory. Based on a case study, it includes interviews with eight leaders and eight employees.

Självledarskap beskrivs vara en process där en individ utifrån sin egen förmåga påverkar och influerar sig själv för att kunna hantera olika situationer som den utsätts för. Tidigare forskning visar på att självledarskapsstrategierna har en inverkan på inre och yttre arbetstillfredsställelse. Forskningen visar även på att arbetstillfredsställelse har en inverkan på personalomsättningen. Syftet med den här studien är att få en förståelse om anställdas självledarskap inverkar på personalomsättningen i restaurangbranschen genom att analysera arbetstillfredsställelse som en länk mellan självledarskap och personalomsättning. Restaurangbranschen är en bransch med hög personalomsättning som står inför utmaningen, hög tillväxt i framtiden.

Executives induced in recruitment for labour has over the years extended their need for information accumulated by these systems. Especially data from the criminal records registry are now being used as a normal step in the employment process among a vastly growing spectrum of enterprises and businesses all over the country. This thesis aims to illuminate the subject by grasp to what extent the described behaviour can be considered legally accepted according to the law or if these actions are inflicting with the foundational juridical principles that has to be ensured by the Swedish government due to our constitutional law.A strict jurisprudential method has been applied throughout the entire thesis to ensure the reliability of the results. Värderingar som styrmedel : en studie av Clas Ohlson ur ett nyinstitutionellt perspektiv

Values, where an organization describes the attitude its members should have towards their work, are being used to a larger extent than before. The neoinstitutional theory describes organizations? attempts to create legitimacy through activities that are not really connected to their core activities. On the basis of the aforementioned theory this study examines to what extent employees and store managers at Clas Ohlson use and relate to the values of the organization in their everyday work. The study covers these individuals awareness of the impact of values in their work as well as the way they relate to values.

Socialt arbete och hållbar utveckling, hur då? : En kvalitativ studie om socialt arbete och hållbar utveckling i två arbetsintegrerande sociala företag.

The aim of this study was to examine how two integrating social enterprises relate to and combines social, ecological and economic sustainability and how they work with sustainable development in the field of social work. The study has been focusing on three questions: What are the values underpinning ?Macken? and ?Vägen uts? approach to sustainable development? What motivates these companies to work with ecological sustainability in the creation of new jobs? How do these companies combine social, ecological and economic sustainability? To answer our questions we have been interviewing nine employees through semi-structured interviews combined with observations and this study was analysed through a symbolic perspective. The conclusion of this study showed that these companies worked with specific themes to reach social sustainability. Recurring themes in the study was empowerment, recovery and the employee?s own experience of exclusion.

In 2014, the Swedish leisure-time centres after school became widely criticized on several occasions by school authorities. The cause for its criticism was a reflection of leisure time-centres with lots of untrained staff and a lack of pedagogical aspirations. The conclusion of the criticism was that these leisure-time centres do not fulfil their potential. However, these assessments has only to a limited extent become a part of the public educational discourse in Sweden. This discourse has mainly focused on the decreasing results in the Swedish school, which has caught the attention in the media and ended up on the political agenda.

Since the late 1900s, the consultancy has taken a firm grip on the labor market. The consultants' work profile has been secured through agreements such as guaranteed wages. This results in higher work demands, workload, a reduced staffing resource and hopeless wages which can lead to health problems and depressions. Previous research shows that consultants find it stressful to be associated with two companies and some clients can also point out consultant through different attributes.

The purpose of the study is to investigate how much interest media has shown selected topics in the corporate governance systems in Germany and Sweden. The four selected aspects are: ownership structure, employee representation on the boards, disclosure of board members? compensation and female directors on the boards. The reasons for and consequences of the similarities and differences will also be discussed. The German and Swedish corporate governance systems construct the key basis of the study, emphasised on the four chosen aspects.

Kyrkoherdars ledarskap : Ledarskapsstilar i Svenska kyrkan - idag och imorgon

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka ledarskap i Svenska kyrkan. Utifrån Svenska kyrkans organisation och framtida utmaningar så är det intressant att se på vilken typ av ledarskap som finns idag och även den typ som ses som det ideala. Frågorna som jag sökt svar på är: Hur ser kyrkoherdars ledarskapsstil ut idag? Vilken typ av ledarskapsstil är önskvärd inför framtiden? Genom en enkätundersökning riktad till 300 kyrkoherdar och komministrar så kom det in 105 svar. I enkäten har respondenterna fått bedöma dels hur deras nuvarande kyrkoherdar agerar (kyrkoherdarna gjorde här en självskattning) dels beskrivit hur en ideal kyrkoherde agerar.

What?s challengingabout Lean in foundation projects is to embrace a long-term perspective and invest insolutions that are profitable in the longer term, instead of solve problems by onlytreating the symptoms.A holistic perspective is crucial in order to truly understand Lean.
