The milk production has developed rapidly the last years. The milk production per cow is increasing and the production units are larger with an increasing number of animals and a decreasing number of workers. Many milk producers invest in automatic milking systems (AM) to meet this change. In these systems the cows can voluntary decide milking frequency and usually the milking frequency are higher than two times per day. But how does the milking frequency effect the composition of the milk? The aim of the present study was to study the effect of milking frequency on the milk composition and the milk fat quality.

Syftet är att göra en inventering av målgruppens resekriterier. Uppsatsen bygger på empiri som samlades in genom reseberättelser under två veckors fältstudier. Vi har använt oss av en induktiv ansats för att samla kvalitativa data. Utifrån reseberättelserna drar vi slutsatsen att de resekriterier amerikanska WHOPs efterfrågar är: kultur, autenticitet, natur, gästfrihet, rekreation, bekvämlighet, litteratur, mat och vin, shopping och äventyr..

Sleep is a vital part of life. Even so a lot of the mechanics regarding sleep is unknown. The dairy cattle of today live a stressful life, as their high milk yields forces them to eat large amounts of feed and spend a great portion of the day ruminating. Do they have time to get enough sleep? Which factors affecting the need of sleep in dairy cattle are largely un-known.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att beskriva och förstå hur ett antal elever och lärare i gymnasieskolan uppfattar lärmiljöns betydelse för främjande av utveckling inom läs- och skrivområdet. Undersökningen belyser självbildens och motivationens betydelse för utvecklingen samt på vilket sätt eleverna är delaktiga vid utformningen av undervisningen vid svårigheter i läsning och skrivning.  Forskningen har en kvalitativ design där information har inhämtats via intervjuer som har genomförts med fem elever och fem lärare i gymnasieskolan.  Resultatet av studien visar att faktorer i lärmiljön har betydelse för utveckling i läs- och skrivområdet. Eleverna önskar att gymnasieskolan bättre lyssnar till deras egna tankar kring hur lärmiljön ska utformas och lärarna önskar sig större kunskaper i området för att kunna möta eleverna.

Articles from two nations daily newspapers have been analyzed in order to examine how the European Union is described and framed for their readers. The newspapers that was chosen for this study and from which the material was collected, were the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet the American newspaper The New York Times. The material was taken from three periods of time, and by this the results did not only serve a presentiment on how the media reports about the subject, but also an idea over the media?s coverage character over time.

When the use of encryption amongst the regular computer user grows morewidespread than ever it makes the life of the IT-forensics experts difficult.Hampering the judicial investigations that otherwise could have lead to convictions.In this report we will treat the subject of crypto analysis with a focus on decrypting files and devices encrypted with the software TrueCrypt. A solution will be presented that can facilitate the future work involving encryption. The application DFEAT that has been developed during the writings of this report is faster than the corresponding software EFDD, and attacks both partitions and bitwise copies of entire harddrives where PKF fails.DFEAT is a lightweight application that is almost 50 times smaller compared to EFDD and 200 times smaller than PKF's portable version..

In offshore oil production FMC Subsea systems use a product called cap. The cap´s mainly task is to protect hubface and seal areas on inboard hub against dirt, corrosion and mechanical damage under installation of a subsea system. A new model of a cap has been designed and analysed using finite element method. The model is called KC3-12 and has a new function, emergency release, which is a backup method for the ROV (remote operated vehicle) to release the cap from the hubface when it is placed under water. The cap KC3-12 was found to fulfil the criteria under the test load pressure, according to ASME VIII, div2.

When protection zones for wells are delineated, it is important to acquire good knowledge about possible travel time from different points in the catchment area to the well. Often, simple analytical methods are used for estimating travel times and the assumption is made that the hydraulic conductivity is relatively homogenous within the aquifer. Nevertheless, many aquifers are strongly heterogeneous which may lead to differences between estimates and actual travel times. As a part of the process to develop improved methods for delineating protection zones for groundwater supply wells, a tracer experiment was performed in a glaciofluvial esker formation in Järlåsa. On the basis of the experiment, a numerical flow model was created for the test site.The purpose of this master?s thesis was to apply the flow model to an aquifer where the hydraulic conductivity shows great variability and should be described by a stochastic distribution.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilken effekt ljud har på korrekturläsning när texten harett typsnitt som ökar svårigheten på uppgiften (Haettenschweiler) och hur det skiljer sig fråneffekten när texten har ett typsnitt som är mer lättläst (Times New Roman). Experimentethade tre ljudbetingelser: tystnad, roterat tal och tal. En 2×3 variansanalys med upprepadmätning användes för att analysera resultatet. Två typer av fel tillämpades i texterna: stavfeloch kontextuellt felaktiga ord. Resultatet visade att man blir sämre på att hitta kontextuelltfelaktiga funktionsord i talbetingelsen, men bara i Times New Roman, inte iHaettenschweiler.

Syftet med detta arbete är att kvantitativt undersöka om utdelningsfrekvenserna påverkar ett företagsvärde.Undersökningen baseras på de två amerikanska listorna Nasdaq och New York StockExchange. För att göra studien så aktuell som möjligt grundar sig undersökningen på observationer mellan 2009 och 2013 och innehåller totalt 11 144 observationer. Bolag på den amerikanska marknaden använder sig av främst fyra utdelningsfrekenser: årliga,halvårsvis, kvartalsvis eller månadsvis.
