The IT industry is constantly evolving and requires everyone working with website development to be updated on the latest methods. The web grows larger every day, and more visits are carried out by mobile devices. It is more important than ever for companies to have updated and functional pages that can be used on different platforms. We want to find out how common it is for IT departments and web agencies to embrace the newest technology and also what it takes to get them to move from one technology to another. Responsive web design is a constantly growing new technique that helps web developers developing for different platforms.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how young adults withunilateral cleft lip and palate assess their own speech and communication,and to let speech and language pathologists make a perceptual analysis ofthese individuals? speech at the age of 19 years. An additional aim was toexamine the relationship between these two different ways of evaluation.Data was collected through perceptual analysis from audio recordings and byusing a self-report questionnaire based on the ICF-structure (InternationalClassification of Function, disability and health). Altogether, 33 peopleparticipated. One third of the participants had no speech deficiencies.

Asperger´s syndrome is a state with certain difficulties in social relations, communication and perception. People with Asperger´s syndrome often have a special interest for a certain topic. The main purpose of this study was to describe how grown people with Asperger´s syndrome make sense of living with Asperger´s syndrome. The inquiry was based on semi-structured interviews with eight persons with Asperger´s syndrome. We reached those subjects trough interest organisations for people with Asperger´s syndrome.

Cataloguing electronic documents makes new demands on libraries. This thesis discusses the metadata formats Dublin Core and MARC which are, individually or in combination, commonly used for object description in the digital library.The formats are studied with particular emphasis on characteristics such as underlying reasoning (ambitions during the development of the formats), flexibility (possibilities of expansion and adaption to new demands) and interoperability (cooperation between different metadata formats). The formats are dealt with in their context, i.e. we discuss what types of documents the formats are meant to describe, what environment they were originally created for, what functions they are meant to fill (to find, identify, select and acquire/obtain entities), and also how these factors are related. The Swedish projects SAFARI (which uses Dublin Core) and NetSök (which uses MARC) are presented briefly.

Dyslexia is a disability faced by an extensive amount of students in the current educational system. No medical alternatives have been found to improve the cognitive processing challenges presented with dyslexia. Therefore today?s educators are required to make instructional adjustments in their schooling, to ensure dyslexic students an academic future. The purpose of this qualitative study was, firstly, to discover how teachers work with dyslexic students, and secondly, to find out which practices are being used in this field.

Young adults with mild intellectual disability and their thoughts about the own home was investigated and is described in this thesis. A qualitative research method was used, and the respondents thoughts about where and how to live were gathered through interviews. The investigation is based on the theoretical concept of normality, identity and quality of life since these aspects are important components of the individual's positive experiences of their homelife. People with disabilities has rights goverened by law, but in this thesis the individuals subjective experiences, feelings and wishes are described. The importance of the individual2019s rights to make their own decisions, feeling of pericipation and personal security was found to be important factors for a satisfying living environment.

SammanfattningInom forskning talas det om att socialarbetare och biståndshandläggare i storstadskommuner har en hög arbetsbelastning med mycket arbetsuppgifter. Det nämns ingenting om hur arbetsbelastningen är bland socialarbetare och biståndshandläggare i mindre kommuner. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur biståndshandläggare i en svensk glesbygdskommun upplever sin arbetsbelastning samt vilka konsekvenser de upplever att arbetsbelastningen kan ge i klientbemötandet. Detta för att exemplifiera hur biståndshandläggare i glesbygdskommuner kan uppleva sin arbetsbelastning. Studien utgår från fem kvalitativa intervjuer där biståndshandläggarnas egna upplevelser av sin arbetsbelastning är i fokus.

Title: Strokes of music - Harmonic methods for modal music.The aim of this paper is to develop harmonic methods for music based on different modes or scales. It begins with an exploration of the music of Claude Debussy and then goes on with other methods and scales and also includes an analytic chapter and results at the end. With "strokes of music" I mean a musical technique, which has some parallels to how a painter can choose colors and palettes to express what he is looking for ? the freedom to choose between colors and palettes, or in music tones and scales ? to move between them by sudden or leading modulations, from the diatonic scales with alternative formations, to the symmetric spheres, to the melodic pentatonic scales and other alternative new formations, using plateauic solutions or chords in diatonic, functional and non-functional progressions. Syftet med den aktuella studien var att genom en forskningsöversikt beskriva arbetsterapeutiska interventioner vid sexuella aktivitetsproblem. Litteratursökningen genomfördes i databaser och genom manuell sökning. Tio artiklar uppfyllde inklusionskriterierna och analyserades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med ICF (International Classicfication of Functioning, Disability and Health) som analysredskap utifrån kategorierna: aktivitet, delaktighet och omgivningsfaktorer. Resultatet visade på möjliga arbetsterapeutiska interventioner vid sexuella aktivitetsproblem. Interventionerna kan bland annat innebära anpassning av den fysiska omgivningen, förslag på olika hjälpmedel eller alternativa tekniker för att underlätta genomförandet vid sexuella aktiviteter.

As a soccer coach for youths with disabilities and as active soccer players, our thoughts regarding the basic principles of sports where awakened and how it corresponds with the possibilities of disabled youths participating in club organized sports. From that thought came the idea that, with our team as the point of original we should contribute with increased knowledge regarding the experiences of disabled youths doing sports. Using ethnography and co-operative observations we have researched both including and excluding factors that contribute to the possibilities of disabled youths opportunity to do sports. We have been able to distinguish that the youths in question feel that sports can be identity-building as well as give a sense of community. The study shows that the basic principles of sports does not correspond with reality because the lack of availability is the determinant factor. .

The purpose of the study was to examine if parents' way ofcommunicating with their children changed after participation in ComAlongcommunicationcourse, and if changes remained over time. The studyinvolved 39 parents of 25 children with communicative disabilities. 33 of theparents had participated in ComAlong, the other six had not participated, buthad a partner who had participated in the course. Video recorded parentchildinteraction was analyzed and coded with the instrumentKOMMUNIKATIV. Results showed that parents used a significantly moreresponsive communication style and used significantly more augmentativeand alternative communication after ComAlong.

Therefore the work with propagating vibrations is of outmost importance, and that is what this thesis relates to.To get a sensible idea of the propagation, calculation models are often used. Propagation calculation models takes into account factors such as distance to the railway, the ground material and the velocity and weight of the train. This work is mainly about finding suitable existing models and, if necessary, adjust them to be more useful with modern trains and railways.The report contains the work of adjusting one such model and does, despite the fully functional adjusted model, describe how much more there can be done within this topic. Ämnet neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättningar valdes eftersom det är aktuellt inom skolans värld. Tidigare forskning har visat att lärares kompetens inom området ofta brister och att den svenska skolan inte alltid lyckas i att vara en skola för alla. Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka nio lärares erfarenhet gällande inkludering av elever med neuropsykiatriska diagnoser. Frågeställningarna var: Vilken kompetens har lärarna för att kunna inkludera diagnosticerade elever i sin undervisning och på vilka sätt har de erhållit den? Vilka möjligheter och hinder upplever lärarna att det finns i arbetet med inkludering av diagnosticerade elever? På vilka sätt anpassar lärarna sin undervisning för att elever med neuropsykiatrisk diagnos ska uppnå kursmålen? Kvalitativa intervjuer av nio informanter har utgjort metoden.
