Utifrån rapporter från bl.a. Riksidrottsförbundet (2007) går det att fastställa att aktivitetsytor som planeras för barn och unga idag inte används jämlikt. Dagens planering tenderar att gynna killar i högre utsträckning än tjejer. Examensarbetet Breaking the Habitual ? Ett gestaltningsförslag för Hagebys nya aktivitetscentrum ställer sig kritiskt till detta och strävar efter att bryta denna planeringsstruktur.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är att utifrån ett teoretiskt och begreppsmässigt ramverk, bestående av en diskussion kring demokratiteori, governance, samstyre och deltagande, att genomföra en analys av samstyret i naturumprocessen. Förloppet kring naturum utgjorde en betydande del i processen kring bildandet av Kosterhavets nationalpark. Karaktäristiskt för naturums samstyre har varit att företrädare för myndigheter från nationell, regional och kommunal nivå har styrt och samarbetat tillsammans med företrädare från lokal nivå. De aktörer som har ingått i samstyret har varit Naturvårdsverket, Länsstyrelsen Västra Götaland, Strömstads kommun, Kosternämnden och helårs- och delårsboende kosterbor. Fokus finns framförallt på medborgarnas och Kosternämndens deltagande.

This report explains the need to develop a configuration manager that handles transmission equipment which exists in the Swedish Defence telecommunications network. The configuration module will display the configurations and compatibility among the equipment and their software which are all part of the network.Also included in this report are tools, methods and results for the development of a prototype for the configuration manager. The prototype consists fundamentally of a database assisted by a user friendly website.The transmission equipment handles a lot of important transmission of information and is in the hands of a department of SAAB, OFGCA, by orders from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). Within the work included in this order exists a continuous update of both software and hardware which the equipment consists of. Therefore it?s highly important that there is a monitoring of which of the software and hardware is compatible with one another, ensuring that the functions of the system work properly.The consistent updating has resulted in compatibility issues between components and because of this, a need for a configuration manager has arisen..

The community Vessigebro, in Falkenberg and its surrounding areas housing one percent of all dairy cattle and two percent of all pigs in Sweden. This means that there is a large amount of manure as a basis for producing biogas in the area. A number of farmers have therefore formed a cooperative named Vessigebro biogas and started the project Green Vessigebro, with the goal of creating the conditions for a more profitable and more sustainable agriculture production.The study deals with the conditions and sale opportunities of the feasibility study Green Vessigebro. The study has looked at the work that was previously carried out for the biogas that could be produced on the farms in Vessigebro, The main pipeline for natural gas on the Swedish west coast and its operators, the Swedish Competition Act , Electricity Act , Natural Gas Act, the District Heating Act , Sustainability Act , previously proposed measures, municipality interest in biogas from Vessigebro , possible collaborations, possible sale opportunities and perform calculations with data from the municipality Ljungby for a suggested transportation of biogas between Vessigebro and Ljungby.The study shows that there are several interesting sale opportunities for biogas from Vessigebro. The production and use of biogas in Sweden is increasing and the trend seems set to continue.

The subject of this two year Master's thesis in Library and Information Science is the information practices of illiterate immigrants in everyday life. The purpose is to examine how immigrants seek, identify, understand and value information sources and information, and how the practices have changed with their arrival in Sweden. It furthermore focuses on the barriers that illiterate immigrants meet in accessing and understanding information. It moreover investigates the strategies they use to overcome them.For this purpose twelve qualitative research interviews were carried out, with illiterate immigrants as well as with service providers. The theoretical concepts of the essay is information practices, which means that the information process is within a context, and information poverty, that people in different context do not have adequate and equal access to information and information sources.Using McKenzie's model of information practices, the essay concludes that illiterate immigrants are active in their information process, especially when they interact with information.

En stor del av rapporten utgörs av en presentation av bolagets interna kontroll och riskhantering avseende den finansiella rapporteringen. Här har företagen möjlighet att stärka sina aktieägares och andra potentiella investerares förtroende för sin verksamhet. Men vad är det som styr hur företagen väljer att framställa och presentera denna information? Enligt institutionell teori så finns det faktorer i ett företags omgivning som påverkar organisationens medlemmars agerande och ett sådant tryck är att styrelseledamöter påverkas av styrelseledamöter i andra företag.

Uppsatsen undersöker hur horisontella governancestrukturer påverkar olika mekanismer för metagovernance. Fokus för undersökningen är Eskilstuna kommun som valt att förändra synen på styrning från vertikal till horisontell, från government till governance. Då metagovernance innebär indirekt och informell styrning i pågående processer studerades just en pågående process där tjänstemän under nätverksliknande former skulle utforma en handlingsplan. Uppdraget var initierat från den politiska nivån.Undersökningen är uppdelad i två delar. Den första delen är en allmänt inriktad respondentundersökning som handlar om de förändrade strukturerna i organisationen.

In this essay, a search strategy for citation index is studied. The strategy, which is essentially a citation cycle, starts with documents retrieved by a subject search, wherefrom new documents are identified following the network of citations backwards and forwards in time. Based on the theory of polyrepresentation, the strategy exploits overlaps between cognitively different interpretations of the same documents in order to automatically select references seed documents used as a starting point for the forward chaining. The purpose of the investigation is to evaluate the retrieval effectiveness of the search strategy and to find out whether the strategy can be used to expand a subject search with the help of the network of references in order to retrieve new relevant documents. This study examines the opinions of social workers regarding the social networks of people with a substance addiction. The intention was to get a more nuanced understanding of what characterizes a positive or negative social network, as well as which functions different types of social networks serve. Data were collected through qualitative interviews with seven social workers. More specifically the social workers were oriented towards working for social services with clients that struggle with substance abuse. The empirical material has been analyzed with a thematic analysis.

The aim of this paper is to find an algorithm to establish and maintain a virtual enclosure around a mobile unit. The area may take any form and should be scalable up to and including national borders. The enclosure is managed on the mobile unit. The target system is Android. Smartphones, tablets and more recently, cameras is examples of mobile units.

Bakgrund: Rörliga ersättningar och så kallade bonusar har varit väldigt debatterat i Sverige sedan finanskrisen 2008 och åsikten huruvida de de är av positivt karaktär eller inte är delad. Bonus har blivit vanligare och vanligare i Sverige under den senaste tiden samtidigt som företagsledarens lön växt i snabbare takt än den genomsnittlige inkomsttagaren. Den finns en hel del forskning gjord inom området men många visar olika resultat och kommer fram till skilda slutsatser. Problemet är att det är svårt att jämföra bonusar mellan varandra. Dessutom finns det ett metodproblem eftersom det finns många andra faktorer förutom bonussystemet som spelar in på företagets framgång som kan vara svåra att bortse ifrån i en studie.Problem: Frågan om ett incitamentsprogram fyller sin funktion finns att hitta i litteraturen i corporate governance och därför är forskningsfrågan: Hur relaterar SEB:s incitamentsprogram för ledande befattningshavare till litteraturen i corporate governance?Syfte: Syftet med studien är att i en jämförelse med litteraturen och utformningen av SEB:s incitamentsprogram analysera skillnader och undersöka vad de kan betyda ur ett effektivitetsperspektiv.

Nowadays Wireless LAN is playing a more and more important role in network systems. After 1999, in which the IEEE organization published its Wireless Local Network standard 802.11[1], many people saw the advantages of the standard but also the lack of support for multimedia streaming. A lot of research work has been done on the proposed IEEE 802.11e standard draft during the past 4 years. It is supposed to be able to fully support Quality of Service. The final version will be published early in 2004.

Purpose:To concretize the various factors on students' theses that are perceived valuable and can contribute to corporate profitability. In our investigation, we want to strengthen the understanding of a "win-win-situation" of cooperation between students and businesses.Methodology:In this study, we have chosen a qualitative approach in which five personal interviews with various organizations that are active in a knowledge intensive industry. A semi-structured questionnaire was used in our interviews.Theory:Our theoretical framework has two broad areas. Introductory chapter is based on theories of research development in Sweden with theories that emphasize the value of collaboration and knowledge. The second chapter deals with a theoretical outlook on value and how this can be applied in marketing.Conclusion:The study shows a diversity of values within three broad categories.
