The current paper is a study of the character Christian Grey in the EL James trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey. The main aim is to find out how masculinity, sexuality and gender are constructed in this erotic fantasy. More over terms as femininity, unmanliness and gender have relevance to the study. Several studies have been done on romance novels and Harlequin in particular from a gender perspective, but few of them from a masculine point of view. Hence, no earlier study has been done on Fifty Shades of Grey with masculinity studies as the main tool of masculinity, or with theories of romance.

The aim of this review is to evaluate the best way to transport the horse. When it comes to transporting horses there are a number of different types of trailers and trucks that you can choose from today. The most common type of trailer is designed for two horses and the horses are transported facing the direction of travel. Studies has been performed to determine if that is the most advantageous direction for the horse to travel in, in terms of balance and levels of stress. Stress is a widely discussed subject and the definition is not fully developed.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that is used by people all around the world. The goal of this paper is to give an idea about how much trust there is in bitcoin among its users. This paper has used an online survey aimed at bitcoinusers and a content analysis to collect data about this trust.The conclusions show that there seems to be some trust in bitcoin as a technology and this is based on that the users have a good understanding about how bitcoin works. They also share their knowledge about bitcoin to people around them. The trust between people in the bitcoin network on the contrary doesn?t seem as high because certain technological properties hurt this trust.

In Sweden we have the highest rate of nontraditional students among Europe. Coincidently, we also have the highest rates of drop outs among OECD. In this particular field, drop out from higher education, there is a need fore more qualitative studies that can support the "statistics". Studies about experiences of drop outs are significant for society, university and individual. The aim of this study is to describe and understand how nontraditional student experiences drop out from higher education.

This master?s thesis investigates the technology and security awareness associated with wireless networks (WLAN). It has been stated by the media and theories that many wireless networks are unprotected. This has sparked an interest to investigate the phenomenon in the Jonkoping region. The study is based on the following research questions:- What security weaknesses are present with the WLAN-technology and how can these be avoided?- How does the wireless infrastructure in the Jonkoping region look like?- Why do companies implement the WLAN-technology?- Are the companies aware of the risks involved with WLAN?We conducted this study in three steps; the first step was to hack a wireless network in a controlled environment in order to investigate the weaknesses of the commonly used security measures.

Sverige har under lång tid haft flera olika koordinatsystem, både nationella och lokala. Nu genomförs en övergång till ett gemensamt koordinatsystem som kallas SWEREF 99.I Norrtälje kommun finns stomnät som är noterade i ett flertal olika koordinatsystem, med ursprung i tidigare förrättningar. Åtskilliga av dessa har dålig orientering i kända nationella koordinatsystem men däremot god inre noggrannhet.I detta arbete väljs 12 stomnät för transformation till SWEREF 99 18 00. Detta görs genom att passpunkter mäts in med GNSS-teknik. De inmätta punkterna används sedan för att transformera stomnäten som de är noterade i.

This thesis is a part of the DySCAS (Dynamically Self-Configuring Automotive System)project which has the overall purpose of creating a middleware for the electronics in an automotive environment. The thesis has been made with collaboration with ENEA AB who is a member of the DySCAS project. ENEA AB has developed a demonstration platform to test the fundamental ideas which the DySCAS project is built on.The purpose of this thesis was to design and implement a GPS application to be added to the demonstration platform. This was done by adding a GPS receiver to the original DySCAS demonstration platform and designing and implementing an application to be able to extract the information from it. The resulting application is able to present cur- rent position and absolute time to the DySCAS networks as services to be used by other applications or by the network it self.

Användandet av datorn i vardagen har gjort att behovet av att lagra data har ökat med 100 % varje år. Den exponentiella ökningen av information beror mestadels på det ökade användandet av Internet . För att hantera mängden av data så måste IT-enheter börja fundera på att centralisera sin datalagring. I rapporten ges det en beskrivning på nätverkteknologier och kriterier för hantering av datalagring. För att beskriva verkligheten intervjuades två medelstora organisationer som har infört nätverkslagringslösning.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att kartlägga de nordiska nationella destinationsorganisationernas digitala nätverk och därefter analysera hur nätverket och de olika plattformarna används för att slutligen diskutera på vilket sätt det går att generalisera ett optimalt nyttjande av nätverk för destinationskommunikation. Frågor som som använts för att undersöka detta är: Hur ser de nordiska ländernas nationella destinationsorganisationers digitala nätverk ut? Hur har nätverkssamhällets trender influerat de nordiska ländernas nationella destinations- kommunikation? Nätverk och nätverkssamhälle är den teoretiska ram som undersökningen utgått från. Närmare bestämt är det Van Dijks teorier om de trender som finns i dagens nätverkssamhället som ligger till grund för undersökningen. Med turismbranschen och deras digitala nätverk som undersökningsobjekt var det även relevant att ta hänsyn till branschförutsättningar och det som förespråkas inom strategisk kommunikation för sociala medier.

The aim of this work is to gain understanding of how predictions and images of future are created and maintained and how they are changed in society. An interdisciplinary approach to cultural and social aspects is used to examine how collective images about future are created. The distinction between collective images and private images is problematised. The subject matter is extracted from a previous explorative examination about Do It Yourself and OpenSource culture which are concepts of collective learning. That work is described in the foreword.The question ?How is a collective image about the future created?? is central for this paper.The interdisciplinary approach is a cross reference synthesis of philosophies, educational studies, film studies, strategicstudies and future studies.

This thesis describes the new construction of a small house and it includes studies of three heating systems: geothermal heating, district heating and pellet. The purpose of this thesis is to project a small house which can manage Building Regulations, BBR conditions and then examine three possible heating systems for the small house. This thesis is a literature study which gives an understanding of the heating systems technical structure, properties and costs. An empirical study completes the literature study by giving a deeper understanding of district heating costs and pellet costs. The empirical study contains two interviews, one of which was conducted in a district heating corporation and the other interview was conducted in a pellet corporation.

The purpose is to put class into the light of a usefulmethodological and theoretical tool when it comes to studies on inequality and political,as well as scientific approaches and explanations to why people have awide range of differences in how they pursue their lives. This essay explores to what extent the Swedish language version of Google Images meets the usability requirements of average everyday users. Previously published studies on user behaviour and users? interface and search option preferences define the usability requirements, which are matched against Google Images? actual interface and search options. The retrieval method of Google Images is also briefly discussed, and users? opinions about Google Images too, as they come across in the previously published user studies.The findings are that Google Images lack some of the things that users ask for, but it still seems to be the most used image search engine among average internet users and more appreciated than other search engines.
