Background: Patients who deliberate self harm often feel disappointed with the health care. The consequence of this may be that the patient avoid to seek help after self harming. Nurses' often experience these patients to be difficult and hard to deal with. Both patients' and nurses' thoughts about the situation may affect the situation in a negative way. A good relationship between the caregiver and patient is important.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the librarian discourses that can be identified in the job advertisements of today, to examine how the discourses differ and also how these discourses might influence the librarian profession and its status. The method of investigation is a qualitative analysis of printed sources, using Ernesto Laclaus and Chantal Mouffes discourse theory as well as the theory of professions as a theoretical base. The thesis shows that two discourses can be identified in job advertisements for 2004, one public librarian discourse and one scientific librarian discourse. The major difference between the two discourses are work tasks where the public librarian discourse very often contains areas of responsibility and development work, whereas the scientific librarian discourse often contains administrative work tasks. Other differences include a great demand for driving licences and an interest in children and youth in the public librarian discourse, something which is not asked for at all in the scientific librarian discourse where there is a great demand for knowledge of languages instead.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att belysa stödet till barnsjuksköterskor som varit delaktiga i vården av ett döende barn och vid ett barns bortgång. Bakgrund: Barnsjuksköterskor som har vårdat ett döende barn eller varit med vid ett barns bortgång upplever mer känslomässig stress och uppfattar stödet och handledningen som erhålls efter ett barns bortgång som inadekvat. Forskning har visat att barnsjuksköterskor mestadels söker, och finner stöd hos sina kollegor och att mer professionell guidning skulle vara fördelaktig i deras roll som barnsjuksköterska. Design: Författaren använde kvalitativ design till denna studie. Totalt sex intervjuer med legitimerade barnsjuksköterskor utfördes på två länssjukhus i Sverige.

En förutsättning för att kunna utforma strategisk ekonomistyrning är att strukturera informationssflödet vilket kan göras möjligt av ett affärssystem.Ett affärssystems viktigaste egenskaper på organisationen i övrigt är dess förmåga att knyta samman och integrera organisationens enheter i samma informationssystem. Vidare skapar val av organisationsstruktur olika förutsättningar att utnyttja ekonomistyrningen och kräver olika slags informationsflödeshantering, som i sin tur måste stödjas av affärssystemet.MetodUndersökningen har utförts genom en fallstudie på ett välkänt svenskt företag inom detaljhandeln.

During the financial crisis voices were raised towards the regulatory framework IAS 39 recognition and measurement of financial instruments and pointed out that it was inadequate. The complexity of the framework contributed to the fact that it was difficult to apply. IASB accelerated the modeling of the new to be regulatory framework IFRS 9. In this study we will focus on the reliability of accounting information, which is an important aspect from the stakeholder?s point of view, for example, to be able to make the best decisions the accounting information should be proper.

Background:It is always fascinating to observe the events that affect the stock market, especially as the numbers of influencing factors are so many and various. Political elections are important events in society and affect the corporate environment in different ways depending on which political party that is in power. This brings up the question of whether political elections are important enough to affect the stock market; and it is this question we intend to analyse in this paper.Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether political elections affect the stock market and to discuss the reasons for any possible affect that might be found.Procedure:An appropriate and thoroughly tested method to investigate if an event affects the stock market or not, is to do an event study. Subsequently we chose to do an event study on whether the Swedish general elections in 2002 and 2006 affected the Stockholm Stock Exchange. In order to give the analysis more depth we have also chosen to interview people with knowledge of the stock market.

A company may use different accounting techniques to adjust accounting information and thereby attract investors. Big Bath Accounting is defined as a strategy used to make changes in the financial statements and reduce the results further when the companies expect negative results. This phenomenon has been observed empirically and occurs when including CEO change and negative results. The aim of this study is to test whether there is another factor affecting Big Bath Accounting, namely remuneration of the CEO. The CEOs should, by changing the accounting information, be able to influence their compensation.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att belysa hur sjuksköterskans omvårdnad kan stödja egenvårdsförmågan hos patienter med IBS. Den viktigaste omvårdnadsåtgärden var att tidigt i samband med diagnostiseringen av IBS, ge information och kunskap om sjukdomen, dess prognos samt behandling, vilket visades förbättra upplevd livskvalitet samt ge symtom-lindring. IBS skolor startade av sjuksköterskor förbättrade patienternas hälsobeteende samt minskade symtomen. Genom introduktion av guidebok innehållande råd om kost, motion, stresshantering samt symtomkontroll upplevde patienterna en minskning av symtom, vilket även ledde till en minskning av antalet besök inom sjukvården. När sjuksköterskan använde olika frågeformulär i kontakten med patienter med IBS kunde patienternas problem identifieras och strategier för egenvården planeras samt individuella handlingsplaner skapas.

SammanfattningFibromyalgi har betraktats ända framtill våra dagar som en ren psykosomatisk sjukdom som uppkom utan känd orsak. Sjukdomen innebar en ständig smärta och en oändlig trötthet/ utmattning. Det fanns ingen behandling för sjukdomen bara lindra symtomen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur kvinnor med fibromyalgi upplevde sin livssituation. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie med beskrivande design.

A quantitative study was conducted with the aim to investigate whether individuals use a specific conflict strategy when they are in a task conflict or a relationship conflict in their workplace. The study also examined whether individuals experience positive or negative effects of a task conflict or a relationship conflict when a specific conflict strategy have been used. Previous research explains the effects of task conflicts and relationship conflicts at the workplace (De Dreu, 2008) Likewise lifts the effects of the conflict strategies interaction, avoidance, and power and coercion (Hoerr, 2005; Meyer, 2004; Trudel & Reio Jr., 2011). However it does not tie together what the conflicts and conflict strategies have for effects together. This also means that it is impossible to discern if there is a strategy that is frequently used in a specific conflict type.

Bakgrund: Kroniska bensår definieras som sår som sitter på underbenen och/eller fötterna och läker väldigt långsamt. I Sverige lider ca 50 000 personer av bensår och det är främst äldre som drabbas. Vanligaste orsaken till bensår är cirkulatoriska rubbningar som arteriell rubbning och venös insufficiens. Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av att leva med bensår. Metod: Sökning och sammanställning av tidigare forskning.

In cooperation with Hälsoteamet Halmstad a pilot study was made to see if whole body vibration exercise has any effect on muscle strength, movement and experience of pain in people with knee osteoarthritis. Today whole body vibration exercise is a revolutionary exercise method that needs more studies to show the positive and negative effects. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease where more cartilage is destroyed than replaced. The most common symptoms are pain, stiffness, restricted movement, muscularly atrophy, tenderness and instability. The cartilage needs pressure to rebuild, it is therefore important that the patient exercise.

Issues regarding the environment are commonly discussed in the media. The most common problem that is discussed is how to decrease the emissions of greenhouse gases by human beings. The municipality of Kristianstad has chosen to work with a project named ?Biogas Kristianstad? which purposes are to use all of the produced biogas as motor fuel and to speed up the introduction of biogas on the local market. This is in an effort to decrease the effects on the environment in the municipality of Kristianstad.

Previous research has discussed how voluntary disclosure relates to the cost of equity capital. Theories of estimation risk support a negative association between disclosure and cost of equity capital, as empirically documented by Botosan (1997) among others. In this Bachelor thesis we investigate whether such a relationship exists on the Swedish capital market. Using the CAPM to estimate the cost of equity capital and a disclosure index based on Aktiespararen?s annual evaluation of corporate disclosure, we test a model where disclosure explains cost of equity capital.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it.
