Försäkringskassan har på sista tiden varit ett föremål för diskussioner i media. En stark negativ bild av myndighetens handläggare tenderar att framkomma ur mediala sammanhang. Samtidigt finns det en medvetenhet hos handläggarna kring vikten av att arbeta med hänsyn till individen. Studiens syfte är att studera de redskap och arbetssätt som används av Försäkringskassans handläggare i arbetslivsinriktad rehabilitering utifrån ett empowermentperspektiv. Vi gjorde en kvalitativ studie som bygger på intervjuer med nio handläggare på Försäkringskassan som arbetar med sjukpenningsärende på enheten fördjupad utredning.

The current state of our web is one where users can create and distribute information freely and without constraining limitations of knowledge. It?s as easy as making a Facebook status update or sending out a Tweet to make contributions to the web and we?re all doing it. Web-Giants like Facebook and Google deinate the web because they have such massive user amounts and therfore they control the information their users see. This is a problem because we?re hidden from the entire information amount that is the web in the 21st century.

The aim of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of howsocial contacts can serve as information sources for pregnantwomen. Furthermore, we wanted to examine how women?scontext influences their information seeking and the barriers thatcan occur during information seeking. The theoretical frameworkis founded on Tom Wilson's model of information needs as contextdependent, and Pamela J. McKenzie's model of informationpractices in accounts of everyday-life information seeking.

The subject of this two year Master's thesis in Library and Information Science is the information practices of illiterate immigrants in everyday life. The purpose is to examine how immigrants seek, identify, understand and value information sources and information, and how the practices have changed with their arrival in Sweden. It furthermore focuses on the barriers that illiterate immigrants meet in accessing and understanding information. It moreover investigates the strategies they use to overcome them.For this purpose twelve qualitative research interviews were carried out, with illiterate immigrants as well as with service providers. The theoretical concepts of the essay is information practices, which means that the information process is within a context, and information poverty, that people in different context do not have adequate and equal access to information and information sources.Using McKenzie's model of information practices, the essay concludes that illiterate immigrants are active in their information process, especially when they interact with information.

Inledning: Sjuksköterskan möter ofta den palliativa patienten i sitt arbete. I det palliativa skedet kan det vara svårt att upprätthålla och bevara sitt självbestämmande relaterat till de symtom som uppstår vid svår sjukdom. Det blir extra viktigt för sjuksköterskan att hjälpa patienten att göra sin röst hörd. Vi ville fördjupa oss i begreppet självbestämmande och valde att göra en begreppsanalys för att få ökad förståelse och kunskap kring betydelsen och innebörden i palliativ vård. Syfte: Att beskriva begreppet självbestämmande för patienter med cancer i palliativ vård och hur sjuksköterskan kan främja självbestämmande.

Bakgrund: MRSA är ett globalt växande problem och i Sverige klassificeras MRSA som en allmänfarlig sjukdom. Bakterien kan orsaka infektion överallt i kroppen men kan även yttra sig symtomfritt. MRSA sprids genom kontaktsmitta och vårdpersonal är en vanlig källa till smittspridning. Tillämpning av basala hygienrutiner är den allra viktigaste åtgärden för att förhindra att sprida smittan vidare. På sjukhus vårdas MRSA-bärare i isolering för att skydda andra personer från att smittas.

Ambulansarbetet är ibland stressigt och som ambulanspersonal hanteras bland annat traumapatienter. Det kan upplevas svårt att finna tid till omvårdnaden kring patienten. En del av omvårdnaden är att informera patienten vad som händer för att de ska uppleva en delaktighet och trygghet i vården. I traumasituationer är det svårt att avgöra hur detaljerad informationen ska vara och hur mottaglig patienten är för information, även patientens medvetandegrad är avgörande. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vad ambulanssjuksköterskor anser om information och vilken information som gavs till traumapatienter.

The purpose of this study has been to investigate how individuals with reading- and writing disabilities and dyslexia handle their information need in the workplace. The method that has been used is a qualitative study made with interviews with individuals who have these problems, to see how they think and feel about the flow of information on their everyday basis. The study?s respondents are working women between the ages of 27 and 47 years old and they have reading- and writing disabilities and dyslexia. The most interesting results of this study are that the respondents are avoiding jobs where they need to read and write much and where they also do not like changes in their job situation.

In this degree project I have studied how an anti-discrimination bureau can adapttheir online information to the target group ? immigrants who only have modestunderstanding of the Swedish language. This group is often subject of discriminationmatters, and therefore it?s important that they can take part of the information.To find answers to my questions I have studied different relevant theories, performeda readability analysis on the online information and have had qualitativeinterviews with representatives from the target group. I have also tested my rewrittentexts on both representatives and other readers.The result from my studies has shown that it is words that are the most difficult inthe current online information, while length and structure of the sentences are alsoof importance when it comes to the readability.

In the media richness of everyday life, the encounter with information graphics ishappening on a daily basis, whether we are aware or not. With the development andeasy access of technologies, new ways to create and display information graphics hasemerged. Among them, the animated information graphics, which in the few pastyears appears to have increased in popularity on video sharing websites such asVimeo and Youtube. In the genre of animated information graphics, there seems to bean inherent diversity regarding the design characteristics. In this study we exploredliterature and research on information graphics and related subjects.

SyfteSyftet med vår studie är att analysera sambandet mellan attribut och förtroende vid val av försäljare som tillhandahåller tjänster eller produkter av meriterad karaktär. Metod Ett deduktivt synsätt med analys av litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar för att skapa en god översikt av tidigare forskning. Vår empiri genomförs med en kvantitativ metod genom en enkät-/surveyundersökning. Våra resultat analyseras i SPSS där vi utfört en deskriptiv statistik, korrelationsanalys, klusteranalys och faktoranalys. Detta följs av vår egen analys, diskussion och slutsats. SlutsatsUtifrån vår studie kan vi konstatera att valen av attribut som en försäljare av tjänster eller produkter av meriterad karaktär gör kan ha en betydelsefull påverkan för förtroendeskapandet gentemot en kund. Detta bör enligt oss en försäljare ta i beaktning då det i sin tur kan ha stor betydelse för genomförandet av en affär.

Den ökande stressen är ett stort problem bland sjuksköterskor. Stor arbetsbelastning och höga krav leder till allt fler sjukskrivningar vilket är en negativ utveckling i en yrkesgrupp som är viktig för hela samhället. Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa hur stress påverkar sjuksköterskor fysiskt och psykiskt samt att undersöka i sammanhanget betydelsefulla copingstrategier. Uppstatsen är en litteraturstudie som baseras på tretton vetenskapliga artiklar vilka behandlar ämnena stress, coping, mental och fysisk hälsa bland sjuksköterskor. Resultatet visar att vanliga stressorer bland sjuksköterskor är hög arbetsbelastning, patientnära arbete, administrativa och organisatoriska påfrestningar samt brist på stöd och uppskatting.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how information seeking habits and experiences of people in different generations affects their expectations on information retrieval systems like OPAC. Two OPACs are used, one web-OPAC and one mobile-OPAC. The following questions are asked: how can theories about information seeking behaviors explain why and in which way one seeks information? In which way does information seeking behaviors and habits affect the experience of OPAC? Which differences and/or similarities can be found between the web-OPAC and the mobile-OPAC? How does generational aspects affect experiences and preferences in an information seeking context? The theoretical framework of the thesis is information retrieval with several models about information-seeking/searching needs and behaviors. The empirical data contains interviews with nine people in different generations and protocols about two different OPACs.

This paper focuses on service development at Scandinavian Airlines. The aim of this case study is to examine the sources of information used in service development and new service development at Scandinavian Airlines. Further the aim is to examine whether information derived from customers can be shown to play a more important role in either service development or new service development.
