There are many factors in a building project that has to collaborate with one another in order to reach the desired end result, how you work with moisture issues in timber is a very important one. While constructing Varbergs Hospital, the building company Skanska came in contact with the issue of extra high demands on the moisture content in timber. What they requested from us was a moisture program in which you clearly could follow the routines regarding work with moisture in timber. The aim is to use this program as a help during the work, in order to achieve a good result.We have developed this study in addition to the moisture program. The aim is that this study will give you a deeper understanding of the important factors to consider.

ganization of knowledge at a museum library: Library of the Museum of Ethnography in Stockholm in the 20th and the early 21st century [65][pdf.gif] The purpose of this masters thesis is to investigate the organization of knowledge at the Library of the Museum of Ethnography in Stockholm during the 20th and the early 21st century. The investigation is focusing on the development of the organization of knowledge, of the catalogues, of the classification system and of the information retrieval. The thesis examines the factors which force the development of the activity at the library and of the organization of knowledge. The study uses a qualitative approach which is based on investigations of different types of catalogues, of the electronic database, of the classification system, of the subject indexing and on interviews. A describing analysis is used.

In year 2000 the Swedish Public Service television started a new series of programmes named Mediemagasinet. The purpose was to expose the work of journalism through the eyes of a journalist. The programme showed different types of tasks and problems that have to do with journalistic reporting. The form of Mediemagasinet wasn?t anything new but the content was presented as the very first of its kind.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att ta reda på vilka tankar som finns angående helhetsperspektivet i den stundande gymnasiereformen Gymnasieskola 2007 (GY-07). För att få reda på detta intervjuades två rektorer och åtta lärare som fick ge sin syn på den kommande reformen. De tillhörde två olika program, ett studieförberedande respektive ett yrkesförberedande och dessa program kontrasteras mot varandra. Resultatet visar att alla informanter har en positiv inställning till reformen men att det yrkesförberedande programmet är mer positivt inställda än det studieförberedande programmet som hyser mindre tillförsikt till implementeringen av reformen..

AbstractIn the paper, democracy's development and change are studied in Swedish textbooks related to social science. The study?s starting point is that the picture of democracy provided to students has changed over time. The study aims to see how the view on democracy has altered in Swedish textbooks in social science. In order to examine this, I have studied seven textbooks, from 1945 to 2006, in social science.

Varje år tar två sjökaptensprogram, ett fyraårigt program med fartygsförlagd utbildning och ett treårigt program som kräver att studenten har tidigare erfarenhet av arbete som matros, examen från Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur de nyutexaminerade styrmännen upplevde sin första tid i yrket som styrman, om de hade de nödvändiga förkunskaperna för att klara av sitt jobb och om det skilde sig mellan styrmännen från de olika programmen. För att undersöka detta användes en kvalitativ metod där personliga intervjuer genomfördes. Tio styrmän, fem från varje program, som tagit examen från Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar våren 2012 valdes slumpvis ut för intervjuer. Resultatet från intervjuerna visade att styrmännen var nöjda med sina förkunskaper från Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar.

The aim of this thesis is to accomplish an understanding on how librarians experience their professional role at private companies. The study is based on qualitative interviews with persons who have a degree in Library and Information science, but does not work as an ordinary librarian. To answer why the respondents work at private companies, this thesis dwells on how the education in library and information science prepares their students to face an alternative career; why the respondents wants to work at private firms instead of a library; if the salary is a key factor in order to choose a career; if the respondents think the companies appreciate their qualifications, and finally, if the respondents think they intrude on other professions' territory? Working at a private company, with a degree in library- and information science, is not, according to the respondents, easy. Although appreciated by their knowledge in the field of information, the interviewees think that the title librarian is hard to cope with.

SammanfattningDet här examensarbetet handlar om ämnet samhällskunskap, demokratibegreppet och därtill kommer vi även att undersöka hur gymnasielärare arbetar med samhälls- och värdegrundsfrågor.Under vår utbildning på lärarprogrammet med inriktning samhällskunskap har vi läst om demokratiska aspekter och hur och varför dessa behövs för att kunna fostra demokratiska medborgare. Skolverket tar i rapporten ?Ung i demokratin? upp en viss skillnad i gymnasieelevers kunskaper kring demokrati. Skillnaden som sådan ligger mellan elever på studie-, och yrkesförberedande program, där den senare gruppen har något större demokratisk kompetens. Detta väckte en nyfikenhet hos oss för att ta reda på om orsakerna till detta kan spåras till lärarnas sätt att undervisa i demokrati och värdegrundsfrågor.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur samhällskunskapslärare på ett studieförberedande respektive ett yrkesförberedande program planerar sin undervisning med anknytning till det demokratiska uppdraget/värdegrunden.

The papers purpose is to examine how the Botkyrka and Huddinge municipalities implement their juvenile law offenders' programs. The paper briefly and concisely outlines the history of juvenile offenders and the social services programs dealing with them. We focus on how two municipalities?, Huddinge and Botkyrka, implement these programs. The municipalities belong to the same judicial district,?Södertörns tingsrätt?.

Bakgrund: Personer som använder Internet kan bli övervakade och profilerade av bland annat spionprogram och cookies på webbsidor. Dessa spion-program och dolda filer kan samla ihop information om användaren som skickas tillbaka till sändaren. Detta sker ofta utan användarens vetskap. Företag som placerar spionprogram i fildelningsprogram har syftet att samla information för att sedan rikta reklam till privatpersoner. Den information som kommer tillbaka kan säljas vidare i undersökande syfte för reklam till en tredje part.

This master thesis has been written in collaboration with Science Park Jönköping and is based on a problem related to corporate innovation. Science Park Jönköping believes that there is an untapped potential in existing industry in the form of ideas that are never commercialized. These theories are also supported in the research in which other authors have perceived that the ideas and inventions which do not belong to the core business risk ending up in drawers. If more of these ideas could be spin-offs or other forms of enterprise instead of staying in the drawers it would lead to growth, both for companies and for the society in large.The purpose of the thesis work is to, based on the case Science Park Jönköping, analyze how science parks and incubators can support the commercialization of ideas that derive from industry, who otherwise had been left lying. The work began with a mapping of the Science Park Jönköping operations and the skills they possess, and then other initiatives that aim to commercialize more ideas from companies were examined.

I mitt examensarbete har jag haft för avsikt att undersöka metoder för att modellera lågpolygonkaraktärer för datorspel. Som min metod valde jag att delvis studera karaktärsmodeller från ett antal olika spel från etablerade spelföretag. Med olika programvaror har jag kunnat plocka ut modeller från spelen för att kunna granska dem under förstorningsglas.Med hjälp av samma program gjorde jag också en kort statistisk sammanställning över hur många polygoner som används för olika karaktärer i olika spel. Detta var i avseendet att få en uppfattning om vad som räknas som lågpolygonmodeller. Vad jag kom fram till här var att det inte finns en klar och tydlig definition av vad som räknas som lågpolygonmodell.

Ibland kan det förkomma problem mellan utvecklare och kund/användare då de tar fram kraven till ett nytt system. En anledning till detta kan vara att utvecklingsgruppen och användargruppen inte har samma kunskaper och erfarenheter och talar då inte "samma språk". En lösning till detta problem kan vara att ta hjälp av en mockup. En mockup är en fysisk och/eller interaktiv modell av ett gränssnitt. I detta arbete har vi, med hjälp av intervjuer och observationer, undersökt om detta hjälpmedel underlättar kommunikationen i verkligheten..

Previous research has established coaches' important role in developing elite athletes (Durand, Bush, Thomson & Salmela 1996). Athlete enhancement and assisting athletes achieve ?peak performance? has been a major objective for elite coaches as well as sports scientists (Williams & Kendall, 2007) Despite this common goal, research also question whether sports scientists and the research they pursue really effects coaches knowledge and constitute a foundation for today and tomorrows athletic performances (Bishop 2008).  This study examined elite coaches? needs and use of sport science research as well as the interaction between elite coaches and sport scientists. Following interviews of ten elite coaches, content analysis revealed that sport science is both a formal and informal resource of knowledge for coaches. Development of athletes is seen as the main objective of research retrieval and personal and/or direct contact with the sport scientist is considered to be the best way to assemble.
